After having one of the best night's sleep at a family member's home, I purchased memory foam mattresses for our entire family. My father recommended the Overstock website, given their large selection, reasonable prices and quick delivery services. I bought the Comfort Dreams mattress for my son who just returned home from the military, who said 'he has not slept this well in ages'. The Gel infusion is a bit more expensive and supposed to help cool your body temperature. Apparently that statement is debatable depending on the climate where you live, your body mass, you definition of cool etc.... I would recommend this mattress and definitely recommend using Overstock.com for your purchase.
Product gave back pain relief at once, but there was no cooling. and the same results could have been obtained by other brands at considerable savings. The Warranty is completely useless and I didn't even bother filing it. An e mail sent to the manufacturer was not even replied to.
My son took this to college for his freshman year. He states he slept well every night and everyone wanted one like his. I would highly recommend it for college or home use. I purchased the one with the cover because it seemed more protected.
I bought this for my first child heading off to college. It arrived super fast, and as instructed we aired it out right away. It took about a week to fully breathe and air out. But after a full year away at college my son raves about it and says how well he sleeps on it and how comfortable he always is.... Key for me was that he says he does NOT overheat on this topper - and he has always been someone who is warm when they sleep and slept with less blankets than the rest of the family - so this was a big win for him!
The foam topper is fine, but a bit overpriced given the quality of the foam. I don't expect it to last as long a others that I have had. Sadly the cover that comes with the topper is not usable because of its awful chemical stench that won't seem to leave. I let it air out inside for a day, hung the cover on the clothesline in the sun and wind for two days, and even put it in the dryer with some essential oils and it still stinks too badly to use on the bed.
