Purchased this foam mattress topper after reading the reviews and comparing prices. We have a sleep by number bed which is very firm and wanted to add some cushion to provide a more comfortable nights rest. The product came in a timely manner, wrapped tightly in clear plastic wrap. We took great care in unwrapping the clear plastic wrap and unfolding the foam topper. The foam topper was in perfect condition and had no offensive smell. The foam topper is only 1"thick, so the mattress pad and fitted sheets still fit fine over the bed. The topper is made out of a viscous foam which is very dense and provides a nice cushion without feeling like you are sinking into the bed. Since it has been on the bed, our comfort level at night has greatly improved. It was reasonably priced and worth every penny. Thank you O!

the product is thin but seems to make up for it in density. overall it was a good purchase for the money. If I had to do it again I would probably buy a thicker pad with the same density.

Excellent Service and Delivery. We liked the first one so much, we purchased a second. This one does not "smell." That petroleum smell is extremely minimal, if any. It's a bit denser than the other 1 inch pad and is "better" than the other. I know. I have the other one as well and use it for camping. This one went on a firm mattress and works real well. I'm happy with the purchase, the price and the service.

The 1in mattress topper is OK. I can't tell much difference with it on. I did air it out as soon as I got it for 72 hours and there is no odor, which is a plus because a lot of mattress toppers keep the odor. I guess I wish I would have gotten a thicker one. All in all it's a nice topper.

I should have ordered a thicker pad than this one. I have had to double it to get the comfort required, but that is my error in not foreseeing that I would need a deeper foam for my specific back problem. The unattractive green color is somewhat off-putting, but I do know that it isn't toxic like so many others whose gaseous chemical smell leave one nauseated. For this alone, I would recommend it to another person.

I allowed this Memory Foam topper to air out for 2 weeks in June, 2009. The reviews said the odor dissapated.IT DOES NOT. I could not sleep on it without it triggering a huge allergic reaction. I put it into a hypoallergenic plastic zip mattress cover and put white duck tape over the zipper.However, the cover was much too big for the thin memory foam pad. Although that resolved the odor problem, the memory foam bunches up inside. I have had to open the cover , removing the duck tape, in order to flatten the pad. Immediately ,my nose runs non stop and I sneeze my head off from the off gassing. It smells like deoderant soap X 1000.I would NOT BUY MEMORY FOAM ever again no matter what anyone one says about the odor. I went into a high end furniture store that sells Tempurpedic and the salesman admitted that the floor models- which have been on the floor over a year, still stink when you get up close.Yes, it adds some comfort...but so would an old comforter under my sheets.

My husband and I love this memory foam mattress topper. We sleep more comfortably on our new (somewhat too firm) mattress now. What I really like is it fits under the sheets even though our mattress is thick. Great product!!!!!

I ordered this mattress because the ad said it was eco-friendly and sustainable. (they have since changed the sustainable part) The mattress is made from polyurethane, just like any other memory foam mattress. Polyurethane is made from petroleum which is not eco-friendly and is also not sustainable. It smelled bad. I thought I was buying a natural latex mattress, because that is truly the only sustainable memory foam.

I wanted a memory foam mattress topper for my king size bed but did not want to pay an arm and leg for it. I also didn't want a really thick one as I was afraid it would feel to squishy. This topper fit the bill perfectly. It was a great value, it's thin and fits the bed just right! When it arrived it was rolled up in such a tight ball that I was worried that it wouldn't unroll properly but I carefully rolled it out and it was fine. It does have a strong odor when you first unwrap it but that dissipates in several hours. I would say that within 24 hours the odor is gone. It fits under the fitted sheet perfectly, covering the entire mattress and is really, really comfy.

The memory foam topper was as advertised...we just did not sleep well with it on the bed

This memory foam is quite comfy. It's not as amazing as I was hoping for, but then, I didn't buy a whole new mattress! It did make my old mattress a bit more comfortable though.

This mattress topper made my old, lumpy bed a dream to sleep on. I stopped tossing and turning and sleep all through the night now. Mine is a bit green, so I can notice the color through my white sheets, but overall I really don't mind.

Pad in it self is good quality and does a fair job. My problem is: I have a rock hard mattress and should've gotten a thicker pad. Bed is now useable, but not quite like floating on a cloud as my other bed.

This is a good mattress pad, and a great value. Though the packaging said to air it out after receipt, there was no smell at all. My only complaint is that it's a little bit firmer than I expected; however, my husband thinks it's perfect.

This pad is perfect. I went a little over zealous with a firm mattress, and this pad makes the bed very comfortable. I still have the support I need for my back, but now my bed is actually comfortable.

I chose this product because it has 4lb density. Reviewers complained that with the thicker toppers, they sank in too far and woke up with a sore back, so we wanted to start with the one inch thickness. My mattress is a brand new firm mattress, which is great for support but absolute murder on pressure points, particularly my hips. The minute I tried this I was in heaven. When you read reviews where people say they don't want to get out of bed, believe it! Right after installing ours we dove into bed, didn't want to get out and almost fell asleep. As far as any odors ours had none at all.

It's like getting a new matress for a lot less. Very comfortable. Makes sleeping that more pleasureable.

The poor thing was frozen solid on the front step (wintertime). I took it in, let it sit for a few hrs before even attempting to unfold it. You need to follow the instructions --don't pry it apart. It needed a little coaxing to completely unfold, but we were careful. No noticeable odor and we are pretty sensitive to that sort of thing. The one inch was perfect -- replaced our old eggcrates --provided more of a cushion on the mattress but not too much. Very pleased with this purchase and think we paid a good price.
