My new mattress turned out to be too firm but with the addition of this topper, it's the best mattress I've ever slept on. In doing research prior to buying I came upon this advise, which I think is worth passing on. It said to buy a basic firm mattress and then choose a topper that suits you. Skip the built in pillow top or memory foam - they all eventually break down. If your topper is separate then you can replace it at a lesser cost than the whole mattress. Also found out that Aerus is one of the highest rated products - right up there with the one we all hear about consistently. The only negative is that it is blue and since it does not come with a cover you have to purchase an extra deep mattress protector to cover both the mattress and the topper and it shows through with the one I purchased - just looks kind of messy, but I'm particular.

Read all the reviews on this product and like brands and options.. decided to buy this one.. sprayed fabreeze on it when I opened it up and let it air for a few hours and slept on it the same day I received it.. no smell and I would recommend this product.. I was torn between the sensus and the aerus.. decided on this one because on their website this one was made after the sensus,based upon reviews and suggestions from consumers, they made the aerus. I aslo purchased a padded mattress pad.. My bed feels brand new again. If you want support more than comfort.. choose the sensus, it is firmer than the aerus.

After spending way too much time researching memory foam toppers, I ordered this Aerus topper. I ordered the CAL KING and it arrived within a week. It weighed a ton and suprisingly had NO ODOR and unfolded quickly. The other surprise was that size. It fit the width perfectly and was just short enough at the top & bottom to tuck my sheets in. Now I can not wait to go to bed! It revived my 10 year old mattress beyond my expectations. The other great news-it doesn't store heat. My only complaint was that I waited so long before ordering it. PAY THE EXTRA MONEY! YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! ORDER ONE FOR VALENTINE'S DAY!

I did some research on memeory foam toppers before purchasing the Aerus foam topper. Overstock's price was $90.00 cheaper than any other web site. Educate yourself about foam density and thickness and which would be appropriate for your sleeping habits. So far so good with mine. It's comfortable.

I recieved this matress on Monday and have already been sleeping on it. The odor went away after about a day after spending a night in a big room with open windows. It is about 2 inches short in length, but the right width for my full bed. It is not actually 3 inches tall, but 2 3/4".

It does seem to be cooler to sleep on but still warms up during the night. The sizing is all wrong. We bought a Cal King for our King bed thinking we could probably cut to fit. It was too short in width in one direction and upon turning it, it was to long width wise and too short lengthwise. We'll use it for summer and switch back out with our other foam mattress for winter. There was also a broken spot on the flip side of the mattress. Wasn't worth it to send back.

I LOVE this topper. The size fit my king bed perfectly. The edges of the topper were squared off and the same height as the entire topper, unlike others I have purchased. It is very, very comfortable. The topper had no odor, again, unlike other toppers I have purchased. I put it on the bed in the morning and within an hour it was completely 'puffed' and ready to use. On a price/performace curve, you can't beat this topper.

What doess it matter how comfortable it is or isn't if the chemical smell is so strong it is sickening? After weeks of attempted airing out it still is emitting a horrible chemical odor.

Product is cut under advertised size - Overstock states that there may be slight variations in size - 4" in with & 2" in lenth is not a slight variation. This product bears a tag that it is manufactured for Overstock so they are specing the size - it does not come in almost 10 % small by accident. Do the math & figure how many extra pads they are getting - 1 for every 10! This observation is not mine alone, read other reviews. This undersizing of the product is downright consumer fraud and should be illeagal, it certainly is dishonest. It is highly unlikely that I will ever shop at Overstock again.

I did a fair amount of research on this as I needed something to go with a planned bed purchase. Initially I was planning to go with a new mattress, a combination of latex and memory foam topper all built in. However I decided to go with a standard spring mattress and purchase this topper to help provide the similar feel and to give that extra cushion I was searching for. I bought a super firm 12ga steel inner spring mattress and put this topper over it along with a mattress cover. The cost differential was just too large. In fact, I believe this is the only way to go. This combination will last over 20 yrs and the weakest link will be the memory foam part which I can replace.The product ordering process went perfect. The topper arrived exactly as stated by overstock. I had read that some people received product that was substantially smaller than their bed sizes however that was not completely the case with this order. The width was about 1.5ins short and the length was about 2.5in short for a CA King. All of that was fine with me as the mattress pad stretching over the side negated the shortages. The topper was rolled up into about a 4 foot in length about 18in wide role. After laying it out it achieved it's final shape in about 2 hours. It did have a strong smell something that has lasted for about 2 weeks however recently has faded significantly. I suspect that it will be completely gone within the next 2 weeks or so. This is not a problem if you plan for it. Let it air out in another room for about a week or so before starting to use.I chose the 3in 4lb Aerus foam rather than the 5lb version because I wanted better airflow to keep cool at night. Neither my wife or myself have had any issue with sleeping hot as some people have stated with this type of product. It is only spring in CA. so we will see in a couple more months. This was one of the reasons why I went with the aerus brand as I was worried about being too hot in the summer. It is supposed to breath better than other brands however I have no way of checking that since this is the only topper I own. My only complaint was the cost. Mattresses are expensive and add the topper cost and it does add up. However, my sleep has never been better. The Aerus Memory foam is the way to go and I would never go back.

queen size cut to small in with by 4 inches also a very ragged cut, it;s to large after opening to send back.Not worth the price.
