Ive ordered sheets with a low thread count because I love crisp sheets that feel cool and percale is the answer. These sheets feel rough and are very thin. I avoid using them and wish before washing that I had returned them. They are very rough and I am not a customer that is hard to please. A waste of money.Read More
the product is good, is as advertised. I am enjoying sleeping on the sheets!Read More
I bought this sheet set for my guest bed. I definitely noticed the difference in thread count - the sheets were rougher, and not as soft. But for what I needed them for (an occasional guest), they work well. I wouldn't get them if i was sleeping on them every night. But i also have sensitive skin, and notice the texture of things more than most people.Read More
This is a true value for the durability of this well made sheet set.Read More
Really scratchy sheets! Washed them three times to try to get some softness out of them, but no luck. I guess you could use them in a guest room ... for a visitor you really don't like! I just bought a better set for less at Target.Read More
I am prejudiced. I prefer percale to sateen. These are crisp, cool and great looking.Read More
These are the worst sheets I have ever had the displeasure of laying my body on. It's summer, and I have to sleep in long pants and a long shirt plus socks so no part of my skin touches them. And they immediately attracted every piece of lint in the house. After 2 washes with lots of fabric softener, there is no change. Also, they are so thin you can see through them. What a waste of $**. Theses sheets are being donated immediately, and I will never order from Overstock again for not allowing them to be returned due to poor quality and a misleading description-they were described as being very comfortable. .Read More
I was bummed that the sheets were SO rough and scratchy and stiff. I washed them twice before we tried them on the bed. I need cotton so skin/body can breathe but not sure I chose wisely...I'd recommend knowing exactly what you are getting. In a store you can feel the fabric.. That being said I am hopeful w/ multiple washings they'll soften up and not fade too much. They look cute in the room, but I feel guilty putting them on my son's bed.. I wouldn't be able to handle sleeping on them.Read More
These sheets are NOT crisp, they are hard and scratchy - there is a difference! I washed them twice also using fabric softener in a attempt to make them more to my liking, but they did not improve. I am returning the sheets.Read More
Overall, these are great sheets for the size and price and I would probably buy them again in another color. The quality was good but not excellent. The sheets were not overly rough, but I can see them becoming rougher with use. They performed their function well and stayed on my oversize mattress when normal sheets just won't.Read More
Questions & Answers
Hi mutidws15, unfortunately these will only accommodate 15 inches. We do not have full size 250 tc sheets sets that will fit 20 inches. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Bed Sheet Thread Count Fact Sheet
The thread count of bed sheets refers to the number of threads per square inch of fabric. For example, if a square inch of fabric in a 300-thread count sheet with a standard weave were examined closely, 150 vertical threads and 150 horizontal threads would be counted, for a sum total of 300. The higher the thread count, the softer and smoother the sheets will be. Thread count is an important consideration to take when choosing a new set of sheets, but it should not be used as a sole indicator of quality. Equally important in choosing a bed sheet is the type and quality of the materials used as well as the fabric's weave.
