name brand Pacifc Coast Down/Northern Lights which is impressive on its own. very comfortable and warm. fits well, has no smell. material is excellent quality on top as well as sides. not that crunchy stretchy material on sides like cheaper brands.

This was a very nice purchase . I needed a new matress pad badly. I feel like I am sleeping on a cloud LOVE IT

My old mattress cover needed badly to be replaced, and this one looked comfortable, and the price was right. I am not unhappy with it, but it's not my favorite purchase at Overstock. To be fair, I got a Deep Support Plush Mattress Topper at the same time, so I haven't slept on just this, and the topper is so comfortable, I probably didn't need both anyway. I still think, for under $75, the two purchases were a great deal, and I am satisfied with the mattress cover. If you are thinking about buying one, I wouldn't tell you not to. Just maybe get one or the other and see, before buying both. You might find you don't need both.

I purchased this feather mattress pad to place over our 1" foam cushion, previously purchased through Overstock. My concern was that it would not fit, but it certainly does and then some. I have no problem fitting this mattress pad over everything on our bed and wrapping it underneath so I know it won't come up - a huge problem with our last mattress pad! While it's not like sleeping on a down comforter, there's definitely some extra cushion and comfort provided by it. We've had to wash it already after our son decided to christen it! Fortunately the tags on the item say it can be machine washed and it ended up in great shape! We are really enjoying it and may purchase more as gifts for friends and family.

I have a new pillowtop mattress, so I bought the pad to protect my white mattress rather than to make it softer. I chose this pad because I love down and can't get enough of it in my life. The irony is that sleeping on this pad is slightly less comfortable than sleeping directly on my mattress (I have the W Hotel pillowtop), suggesting to me that I should have gotten a thinner pad. Also, the sides are not snug around my mattress (due to its 12.5" thickness), and the excess material has to be tucked in. That said, the pad still stays in place very well. The cotton cover is a nice, soft fabric, but I still lose a few down feathers every time I fluff up the pad.

This is a very nice product for the price. It is a little light on the fill but over all has great comfort and appears sturdy and durable.

I was mildly sceptical when I received this, it was flat and unimpressive. I took it out of the package, shook it and it came to life! I am so impressed with the fabric quality as well as the side fabric. Very luxurious and very affordable!

When we first bought a mattress, we bought the hardest one possible given my husband's back issues. Then as we used pillow top mattresses in hotels, we realized what we were missing! I love down, so I ordered this pad. So far, it has definitely made a difference in the comfort level of our mattress (although given the original firmness of the mattress, it will never be like the ones in Mariott!). One downside is that the mattress pas tends to shift under the sheets and needs to be readjusted every few days. But I think this will most likely be an issue with anything that is not totally attached to the mattress.

I really shook it out when it arrived, but it remained pretty flat.If you are looking for something with loft and padding, keep looking. It is perhaps the nature of the down filling.

Arrived fast after ordering. I love it. My big issue was fitting the mattress and it did. Needed a deep cover and this was the answer. I would recommend and for the price can't beat it.

I was hoping this was going to be cozy. The reality is far better than just cozy. I love this mattress pad. It makes my mattress feel like a down pillow top.

I have purchased cheaper pads in the past but the value of a higher quality mattress pad is obvious when you feel the softness of the material and the tightness of the seams.

This was a good product for the price. I would personally choose a thicker one next time, but this was as advertised.

This was one of the best bedding purchases ever. I have a memory foam mattress and my sheets had a very hard time staying put, plus I wanted something breathable that wouldn't mask the comfort of the expensive tempur-foam. The cotton and down are very breathable and the bed is actually much cooler than it was before. (My only complaint about memory foam is that is it quite hot). Don't make the mistake of purchasing a synthetic mattress topper unless you need something waterproof, or you have allergies; this is what you want.

This is very good quality and thickness for the price and especially since it is considered a mattress pad. It is much thicker than normal mattress pads and it does more for the bed than just protect the mattress. It is very fluffy, and appears to be sewn well. I've washed it once and it seems to hold up to washing. I hope it lasts as long as it looks like it will. I would recomment this pad to anyone looking for protection for a mattress, and looking for some extra softness as well. Very good value for the price. You could not beat this price in a department store.

It's only been several weeks and I'm seeing loose feather coming out of the pillow top. This is my only complaint. Other than that, the pad is very comfortable. It definitely adds a level of softness to my firm mattress. It is much better than the other pads out there for the same price.

Quality is great! I have it on top of a 4-inch piece of Serta memory foam, and it fits fine. They make a very comfortable combo.
