I love this comforter set! Goes excellently with my decor and wall coloring and fits just well with my bed frame style! However, my only issue would be fading. After one wash it no longer had the brightness that popped when I first laid it out on my bed...otherwise...after almost a year later I still love it!

it's hard on your eyes the first time you lay it down. after that it's OK to look at. it's very nice and i'm very pleased with the purchase.

I had hoped when I googled the prices of other "City Scene" comforter sets, that I had hit on a screaming deal on this one. However, the quality of this set is on par with those comforter sets that you would purchase from a large discount store. I never could find the thread count, but I would guess it is 180, and at the very most 200 threads per square inch. All of the items are tagged with a 100% cotton tag. The manufacturer's tag states, "Revman International" and they were made in Mexico. One of the pillow shams in the set I received has a major flaw in the fabric where part of the fabric just wasn't printed. This was an obvious flaw that should have been caught at every stage of the manufacturing process. Thankfully, Overstock is stepping up and replacing both shams so they will match with such an obvious pattern. On a positive note, I am very happy with both the size and weight of the comforter, along with the vibrant colors. The comforter easily covered my son's king-size pillow top mattress along with almost the whole box spring. As other reviewers have stated, a bed skirt is NOT included. That was actually fine with me. I chose instead to purchase a fitted sheet to encapsulate the box spring with. This almost gives the bed a platform type of appearance - plus, no more having to struggle with that darn bed skirt when I make the bed! The red in the comforter set is a dark rusty red. The dark color in the comforter is a dark chocolate brown and not black as reported by another reviewer - I wonder if the pattern has changed? The sheet set is a buttercream color with a dark brown band (about three inches) on the edge of the pillow case and the top of the sheet. The sheets seem a bit silkier than the comforter - maybe a 250-300 per inch thread count "sateen"? They are fine, but rather non-descript. I would not choose to purchase them on their own if they were sold separately. All in all, for my purpose (for my son's bed), I would purchase this item again. However, I would definitely be sure of a higher quality comforter for my own room. This is more along the line of a high style - low price item that I would expect to replace in a couple of years. When I take the time to decorate my own bedroom, I tend to look for higher quality classic styles that I can use for a longer period of time.

It helped me alot in determining which bedding set to purchase as I am very picky and never had purchase anything online in the past. This was my first purchase from Overstock.com and I absolutely love it. The bedding set goes perfect with my room decor and the quality was very nice for the price. I have purchased other bedding sets for more money than this and the quality has been horrible so in my opinion this was a very good price for the quality of this product.

I love this set. I brought it for my college son who still lives at home and painted his room with college colors of red & black. The colors in this comfort pick up the colors of the red painted walls. It brightens the room and the texture of the comforter has a heaviness to it which he really liked. It's so soft and comfortable. I highly recommend this set. It looked just like it was viewed online.

Very nice bedding set. Bought for my son's room. He loves the bold design and colors-and thinks the sheets and pillow cases are cool since they have a different color trim; and they are soft. Sheets got softer after washing. Quilt is really a nice size and covers bed well. I lIke that it is washable and will do that soon to help it soften up just a little. The price versus quality is great.

I had painted an empty bedroom gold intending to make it an extra office. As the children started returning with families, I needed to make it a bedroom again. The colors on the website for this particular bed set were spot on. The gold on the wall and in the comforter match exactly. I was pleased with the price, the delivery time, and the softness of the sheets. I've never had a disappointing buy from Overstock.

I searched for a long while to find a cotton comforter. This comforter set is very nice and a good value. It has a nice feel to it and the vibrant colors seem true to the website photos. My only wish is that it included a bedskirt as I struggled to find a bedskirt that worked well with this set.

I bought this bedding for my lake house and found it to be very comfortable. The colors "pop" as you walk past the room and looks great with any decor. I would recommend to anyone.
