It is really cute on my 6 year olds twin bed, will grow with her through teen years. Do not like how the buttons on the white side are up a few inches from the bottom so one sees it on the edge of the bed vs. if it was low on the edge it would be off on the ends of the bed. Hope mfg. reads this a fixes this, since it's supposed to be reversible, but will most likely use it on the lavender side, wouldn't be an issue if one had a footboard on their bed, the end of ours is the 1st thing one sees when entering the room though, but will keep since nothing else out there compares to quality and value. Nice heavy fabric.
I loved this set when I first saw it; however, it was the comforter set. I ended up getting an alternative down comforter and was disappointed that I would no longer be able to get the beautiful comforter set, but then I found the exact one as a duvet! I was thrilled (Thanks, Overstock!). I still looked around for other duvets, but knew I had to get this one. It's just what I wanted. It's fun without being too young, and it is perfect for a relaxing feel for a bedroom. Both sides of the duvet are beautiful (sometimes this is not always the case...). The white isn't stark-white, which it fine with me. My room is currently lavender, so I have the white side showing, but when I move into an apartment, I plan on flipping it to add color to the room. As for the the buttons on the white side, I don't find them to be a problem. The button area is folded into the duvet, so it's really not an issue (and this is coming for a pretty picky individual...). The only con I think I would have is that the fabric isn't as soft as I'd like, but I'm sure with a few washes and some wear, it will be just right.
