The description says sage/beige. Do you think this would go in a room that was themed neutral tending to brown? (dark brown curtains, neutral/brown walls, sandy carpet)? Most of the walls in my home (other than bedroom) are neutral/green. Thanks

Received the duvet in 4 days and love the color and quality. It's a sage color with white. I was worried about the thread count being so low, but it's very nice. The King size was 3 inches smaller than the comforter I wanted to cover, but I took a chance and it worked out just fine. It fits like a glove with no wrinkles or bagginess like some of the duvet covers I have used in the past. Great price, too!Read More
Thing I wish I had known: It's a sea foam green color - I don't think the picture shows this well. It's very green. It's THIN - not thick and luxurious, quite thin. I don't imagine it will hold up well to many washings. Bottom line: I would recommend it because it's very cute and does the job well for the price!Read More
Loving the duvet set.. It caught my eye right away and couldn't be happier with it. Prettier than in the picture.Read More
It's my first time and I just love it, fast shipping and nice quality!Read More
Neutral colors can be difficult but this one works perfectly. It compliments the sage color of the walls. I wish the cover had some of those velcro or ribbon anchors in the corner to secure the comforter. It didn't so I bought some anchors at********** and they seem to be working. I like that it is reversible so I can use the lighter side in the summer and just flip it for a darker color in the winter. It looks nice on the bed in the guest room. I like the lighter weight fabric because it doesn't add bulk to the down comforter and negate the purpose of down.Read More

I wasn't sure if the cover would be too green and when it came I was very excited to see it was true to the color min the picture.Read More
Thjs duvet cover is so incredibly soft. It's larger than most covers, whichis perfect for our bed. I highly recommend.Read More
I ordered this duvet set but I thought by the picture it was more of a taupe or brownish. It in fact is green. It is alright but not what I was expecting. It has shrunk quite a bit and barely covers my queen bed.Read More
I bought two sets for my twin beds, and they look great. Happy with fabric and colors.... lovely and contemporary. Bought two off-white Tommy Hilfiger bedskirts at Overstock at the same time, and they look great together. My preference would've been to have bought two queen duvet covers for my twin beds and just done away with the need for skirts, but they weren't available.Read More
Questions & Answers
Hello firstclass22, With the color as sage (very light green)/beige, I think it would look very nice in the theme you are working with. Thank you for shopping Overstock.com; let us know if you have any additional questions.
This duvet will definitely add a color and interest boost to a neutral room. It has two sides with the other being the reverse of the top, white background with green/beige circles. You shouldn't worry that your walls in your other rooms are green. All should blend nicely.
I like it better with cream colored walls , ,however I think it would work with almost anything

Best Duvet Covers for Each Season
For those who use duvet blankets year-round, duvet covers allow you to change patterns and color to match every season. Along with the decor of the bedroom, a duvet cover may enhance the ambiance of the entire room or supply it with rich colors and textures for the ultimate comfort factor. If you purchased an expensive duvet, covering it throughout the year will keep it in good shape and allow you to wash it without compromising the batting. Look below to learn the best duvet covers for each season. Spring: Once the evenings start warming up, lighter fabrics like satin provide sheen and style to any bedroom. Satin duvet covers are most often comprised of fabrics like nylon, rayon or silk to provide durability as well as comfort. For spring, lighter colors, including pastels or variations of cream and beige, brighten the room. Summer: During warm summer nights, cotton duvets are one of the most common fabric choices. Light and airy, cotton is also easy to clean and comes in virtually every color and pattern. For the summer season, try a white duvet cover, which will make the room appear more open and spacious. A cotton blend that contains polyester is also an ideal choice for summer, because it is soft, requires simple washing and does not wrinkle. Fall: For the fall season, a duvet cover that is warm enough for intermittent chilly nights is an ideal choice. Microsuede duvet covers offer a soft feel to bedding and come in a variety of colors. This material is easy to care for and machine washable. For fall, choose earthy colors like beige, brown, dark green or burgundy for a seasonal look. Winter: A luxurious duvet cover is a favorite option for warmth during the winter months. Velvet is a soft fabric that comes in a variety of rich colors and provides plenty of insulation for cold nights. The luxurious texture looks good in any style of room decor. For winter months, choose deep, rich colors like burgundy, plum, forest green or chocolate to enhance the room. View All Duvet Covers Back to Guides Directory View All Duvet Covers
