I don't know if it's just my monitor, but from the picture, I thought that this was blue, cream and chocolate brown. The blue and the cream look exactly like the picture, the dark stripes of dull navy blue/charcoal really surprised me. The back side of dull dark olive makes me think that maybe they were at least trying for brown, but I can't be sure. Now I don't know if I just got a weird item, or if this is the color I bought. Either way, a description that includes color information would be really helpful.

I just got my king sized comforter set today and put it on the bed. It doesn't fit if the stripes are up and down like the photo. It doesn't fit very well with the stripes the other way either. The sides only go over an inch or so and doesn't cover even half of the top mattress. It looks ok but I didn't want stripes going sideways. I'm giving it time before I decide to return it. It looks great if you want that look but I wanted the look similar to the picture. Good quality, light weight so I wouldn't need to take it off every night if I didn't want to. other side is solid brown for a change if I wanted. It does have diamond quilting on it that isn't seen in the picture.

I would recommend this to a friend--it was nice. However, I had to return it because I was looking for a homemade quilt look. But the colors in this are really nice and I wished I could have kept it--I just needed something different in the room. I am very impressed is OS.com and their return policy--it was a piece of cake. It was easy to ship back and I got my refund very quickly. I won't ever worry about that again.

I ordered this for my 14 year old daughter. She loves that it is not too girly or too childish. She did wish it was a little softer but after a few washings it got better! She really loves it.

So far this has been a great purchase. However, I did buy it July and I live in Southern California, so I'm not going to really know if it's going to keep me warm at night in the LA winter. Colors match the image perfectly and the fabric is comfortable and soft. Study construction overall.

The bedding looks nice, however it is NOT soft. I like something soft that you can snuggle with and if you like that too, this is not the bedding for you. The coloring is great and it looks nice in my bedroom. It would also be nice if it came with some decorative pillows...the bed is lacking something with out it.

This comforeter set will match almost any wood bed, and it makes your room feel biger. The cotton material is good quality, however, the comforter is a bid stiff. If you want a pluffy and feathery type of comforter, then I would not sugest this one. For a guy, I think this is very good because it feels like a comforter that has some weight to it. No ling comes through the cotton and the colors are very good.

Perfect and the colors are right on. Very hard to find 110" wide. Very happy and went back to order the matching throw pillows.

I really like this comforter a lot. The colors are great and the comforter is warm but not too bulky! I also love that there isn't a bed skirt since I always think it's a waste when I don't use them.

The new comforter is just fine for my room. I didn't expect Laura Ashley quality but for the price this set is just fine.

I'm not sure what kind of eyeballs other folks have, or if pehaps their computer monitors are off, but the colors on the picture are true to form: a chocolate brown, a baby blue and a whipped cream. There is no "green" in this brown (unless you're under flourescent lights), there is no "gray" in the cream, etc. I feel sorry for Overstock and all the complaints people write about "off" colors. I've never ordered anything on here that was inappropriately described. If you want a cream, blue and brown comforter, this is it. The comforter is soft and plush, too.

I ordered the comforter set which had the sheet set with it. I wish I had seen the reviews listed under the three piece set though. The ones listed with the 7 piece set were very good, however, I have to agree with the comments made under this listing. The colors are not as vibrant as the ones shown in the picture. Most upsetting is the dull cream color that makes the comforter look dirty. As far as I can tell, the quality of the set is good, but I was really looking for that extra "pop" in my guest bedroom, and this is not the comforter set to accomplish that.

I would not recommend this product to anyone. From the picture it looks cream, brown and light blue. The "brown" stripes in it are more of a green/charcoal color and the whole back side of it isn't even the same color as the front, so when I fold the top of it down now it doesn't even match. Now I don't know what color sheet and drapes to put with it. A color describtion would have been nice since the picture of it was not accurate at all. Do not buy this product!!!!!!!

Bought this for my teenage son and he loves it. It came with a set of sheets which I didn't expect (and didn't order) because he has a pillow top mattress so I didn't think the sheets would fit, but they do. The only problem is that I had to buy bed skirt and wanted brown, which in the comforter is a very khaki-brown, not chocolate like the bed skirt I bought. However, it's dark enough to not be too noticeable. As another reviewer said - the brown is an odd shade, not what you would expect, but it still works.

It has a beautiful look with the flannel chocolate sheets that I purchased and the accenting chocolate curtain tabs for the windows. I have the walls painted a similar blue color, great for my sons bedroom. The brown stripes are a little more of an espresso color, rather than a chocolate. The reverse side is an olive green? Not sure why that is. Seems to be a good quality fabric and construction. Next test will be to see how it holds up in the washer.

I was aware of the color differences because I had read the reviews. My current color scheme is very dark brown so I was happy to find something that was apparently so dark. Unfortunately, the "cream" is what really is off. It is actually a very dull grey.Also, I would recommend getting some matching dark brown pillows. The shams are the exact same print as the comforter,so it is pretty overpowering.

I ordered this for my daughter and when we got it, the color was more charcoal gray than brown/chocolate. In fact, all the colors were very dull. Nothing like the picture. Quite disapointing. I would not recommend this product to ANYONE.

Bought for my son. King size fit his bed perfect, completely covering matteress and box springs. It is a platform bed so dust ruffle was not needed. Very soft and comfortable. Masculine stripes that appealed to a teenage boy. Will definitely shop again at Overstock.com
