It is the highest quality comforter set I have ever owned! I only wish I had known six months ago that we were going to change our bed from a Queen to a King. Of course, they are sold out now, and I am desperately looking for a King size comforter!!!

I do not think you will be able to find such a high quality set for the price. I also purchased the throw pillows that are pictured...it just wouldn't have looked as nice without them. Besides, the pillows are made so well that they are worth the price too. The comforter is very heavy, but that is one of the things I love about it. It is not made with a cheap material that pulls apart after a while. The picture just doesn't do it justice. The set will go with any colored furniture you have. I happen to have antique white. My room has a very romantic, Victorian feel to it. The burgundy red in the pillows and comforter bring out the warmth in the room. I have had my comforter set for almost a year now and I love it! My suggestion to whoever is reading this is, do not waste your money buying those satin or bed in a bag sets...this will LAST you a LIFETIME.

Extraordinary quality and workmanship! I bought the extra pillow set and love it, too. Don't overlook the hidden zipper in each pillow sham for inserting your pillows. It's on the darker fabric side in the seam where the ruffle is attached. All that's visible is the tiny black metal zipper tab. My daughter is an interior decorator and was astounded by the quality in this set and the PRICE! It's the kind of set that probably won't EVER wear out. Yes, it's one of those!

I have purchased several bed-in-a-bag deals but none like this one. I was skeptical at first. However, I was more than delighted when my box arrived. I delayed in writing a review because I wanted to see if my satisfaction lasted beyond my initial impressions. I am more than delighted with the quality of the fabrics and the complete ensemble. The comforter lies flat (no bumps), and everything is reversible just like it was advertised. The overall construction is some of the best I have ever seen. The colors are richer and more vibrant than the web page shows. If you want a comforter that will last for years this is an awesome choice.

I am redecorating my bedroom in 'Wine Country' and want rich colors and fabrics that add both charm and drama. After reading the other reviews I decided to order this set. I would not have otherwise, as the picture does not do it justice. This bedding is beautiful and has such a variety of colors. I am looking forward to making my own draperies and pillows, there are so many hues to choose from. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Good value for the money. Very elegant looking. The colors blended perfectly with my bedroom.

I'm fairly happy with the comforter set, though not thrilled. I expected it to match our bathroom colors, which are oranges, greens, and browns. The predominate color is actually dark navy and does not look the way I expected. The fabric is heavy and feels substantial and it looks nice, just much more masculine and much less earth tone-y than I expected. Whatever you do, I strongly recommend staying away from buying the accent pillow set. You can read my review of those, if you'd like. Overall, I like this set, it fits the bed well, I just wish the colors were accurate in the photo. They are not even close, actually. It's very, very dark.

Ok, I read the reviews on this set prior to purchasing. I was a bit leary regarding the color of the set. One reviewer mentioned the color "burnt orange" on the king shams, and I was nervous. Well, don't be. This set is Gorgeous!!The colors are MUCH richer than pictured. There is gold with black, deep olive and wine color. The leopard print around the pillows is subtle, not cheap. And the stripes on the shams are black with gold, olive and and a beautiful woven braid around the ruffle.I've had Croscil comforter sets and other luxurious bedding, but this set is top notch. To begin with, the European shams aren't just sham pillowcases...they come with the pillows inside! Awesome! Three of them in the King set I purchased. The King shams - well, I read one reviewer state that they were sewn closed and she had to pull out her sewing machine to open them. When I took them out of the bag, my heart sank. No opening in the back. But I studied them. This is much too nice a set to have these types of errors. Low and behold there is a hidden zipper in the seam on the back to open them, place your pillow and rezip! I'm so impressed. And as for that burnt orange color, well, it's more of a merlot or bright wine. I have burgundy color scattered in the bedroom here, and it compliments it very well. I did purchase the extra pillow set as well. That didn't arrive yet.If you were waiting on this one, I'd jump. It's the nicest one I've purchased to date.Well done, Overstock, well done!!

This is a nice expensive looking comforter great value for the money. quite different in person than it looks on line,but pretty nice.comes with 3 stuffed pillows which is great. the comforter is a little on the heavier side.should be great for winter.gave it 4 stars as it was different than it looks online

Just received the set today, I love it. It is rich looking, fabric is lush and much better than I expected. It looks extremely expensive and has definitely raised the level of decor in bedroom up several notches. We just bought a new house and can't want to show off our classy bedroom. I purchased the pillow set which is totally outstanding also, I love the different textures of the pillows, the leather look is great! Guarantee you will love it if you order it!

This is an amazing set!!!. I also ordered the coordinating pillows. The picture does not represent the beauty of the materials. The comforter is high quality. The background is black and the colors of burnt orange, gold, and sage make this a stunning set.The euro shams come prefilled and are super sturdy. I won't have to worry about them flopping over. The regular shams are beautiful. One side is the same material as the comforter with a leopard print edge. On this side you will find a zippers nestled in between where the teo fabrics come together. At first I could not find these, but they are there, keep looking. This is so much better than a sham that has a slit in the back/ This proves the high quality of this set. On the other side of the sham is a rustic burgundy color, with leopard edgeand matching cord trim. I use this side. With the coordinating pillows that I purchased, I also threw on a couple of gold pillows that really make it all come together. I am now on the search for some draperies.Overall, you will not be disappointed with this purchase. It is high end for a very reasonable price.

More Beautiful than the pictures were able to show and included 5 pillows. Three were actual pillows and the other two were shams and needed pillows inserted. Great buy and a great price. Used in a condo at the platinum level of renting in Steamboat Springs, CO and getting rave reviews!

I would have given all 5's for review but the pillow shams didn't have any openings. Rather than go to the trouble to send it back, luckily I know how to sew. That being said, the set is absolutely gorgeous. The colors are much better than the picture. It looks much more washed out and gray in the picture, but actually has a black background with rust, burgundy, sage green, pale aqua and gold. But none of the colors are overpowering. I just painted my bedroom a dark taupe and the comforter looks beautiful. The fabric is of good quality. The three large pillows that came with it look really outstanding against the mahogany headboard of our bed. We now feel like we are sleeping in a hotel suite.

The other reviewers weren't kidding when they said how heavy this comforter is. It is seriously heavy! Very well-made, excellent quality fabrics. The colors are in fact waaay different than the picture. It is a very dark color combination. I like it, but plan to add some lighter colored accents to break it up. I had no idea what a euro sham was, and was shocked when I pulled out two huge decorative pillows. They are the striped ones that are peeking out from behind the other pillows in the picture.

This set is an unbelievable bargain for the price! The bedding is very well made, quality fabrics, the euro shams come with the pillow inserts, well worth double the price! The colors are vibrant and rich and the shams can be reversed either the red side or the comforter pattern side. The shams are trimmed in an animal (leopard) print and it keeps it from being overly traditional... but certainly not overwhelming either. I plan to accessorize with an animal print chair I found on this site.The only feedback I'll share as an FYI is that the comforter is very heavy; it is too hot to sleep under in the summer. I plan to buy a lightweight blanket to put between it and the sheets and will fold back the comforter to sleep.

I read the reviews and although it was not really what I was looking for, the other reviews said it was well made. Not only is it well made, but the fabric is almost like a tapestry, although the colors in the picture are very different than it is in person. It does have a sheen and I think when they took the picture they had a lot of lights on it and it was taken at a good distance since the underneath of the spread is actually a crisscross design with little green asterisk with a reddish orange dot in the center each crisscross . The top of the spread has a black back ground, but there are pretty shades of green, beige, burgundy and orange in the design. The red on the back of the pillows has a lot of orange in it; however the colors all just work together. I agree with one of the reviews, this will not brighten up your room, after I received mine; I painted my walls a light green which brought out the green in the spread. In total, I am very pleased with the quality; it looks a lot more expensive than what you pay at overstock.

I cannot even begin to express how utterly beautiful this bedding is...it is an amazing value for the price!!!!! I recently saw wtih my own eyes another Kincaid set that is also on overstock at a local furniture store for about $850.00. The quality and workmanship in this bedding is like nothing else I've seen in any local department store. I am so very satisfied and would highly recommend this to anyone.

I ordered this set not knowing what I would get. Internet photos normally are not factual. This was no exception. When I received the set it was awesome. More than I expected. Very nice quality. The photo does not do the set justice. Gorgeous colors and print. Black background with celedon/mossy green and cranberry red with a little gold. Very nice. You will not be disappointed. I have ordered lots of items from the O and I have never been disappointed. I love it

I received this purchase recently and was disappointed. The picture appears to have been lightened considerably so expect the real thing to be much darker. However, the overall appearance is nice. The euro shams come filled which is good. I like the black background but was hoping the lighter colors were really lighter. I am keeping it for the time being but will probably change out sooner rather than later. I bought the additional pillow set as well but don't like the large dark brown square faux leather pillow. I think a complimentaly color or fabric would have been a better choice.

I bought this based on others reviews and was extremely pleased! My very picky husband even loved it!
