Chloe 8-piece Comforter Set

I was anxious for this to arrive so that I could replace my old comforter. Right away, it makes my old comforter look better. As I unfolded it from the plastic zip bag like most comforters come in, the first thing I noticed was a strong smell. The best I can explain it is an "industrial smell", kind of like something vinyl. As I unfolded it, the pillows were folded and smashed toward the center of the comforter. The square pillow took shape right away, the hotdog shaped pillow is more flat than round. I had to snap a few threads that ran across the top of the comforter to get it to unfold. I was hoping that it wouldn't start to unravel and it didn't. When I laid it across my Cal King bed, it was too short width wise. I looked at the picture online and saw that I had it 90 degrees from the picture, so I turned it. Now it is too short length wise. The description by Overstock shows the dimensions to be 108 x 96. There is a huge piece of printed paper that clearly states the size to be 104 x 90. I measured it with a tape measure and if I stretch it really tight, I might get 88 x 102, but that is by literally stretching it. I thought perhaps, they shipped one for a king sized bed, but the box it shipped in clearly states that it is a Cal King and the paper with the dimensions actually shows this to be 1" longer than the web-site shows. So, if you have a Regular King Bed, you would be safe ordering the Cal King size if you want it to match the size described as the Regular King. It doesn't get 1 star, as the backing does feel durable and it is fairly thick.
