I thought that the big coffee table in my family room took too much of space and was only used by my husband to place his cup. It's also kind of unsafe for the kids. I got rid of the bulky coffee table and bought 2 ottomans to replace it. I am so happy that I did! The ottomans are so versatile. They can be used as extra seatings, or as the foot rest. My son loves to play with them. I gain so much of free space in my family room and it's much safer for the kids. When my husband need a place for his cup, he just put a tray on top of the ottoman and he has a perfect little side table. I am so happy with the ottomans, I ordered 2 more for my living room! It's really comfortable, sturdy yet light weight. I think the price is also very reasonable, too. I highly recommend it! Please notice, these are little ottoman, not the big ones. If you're looking for something that's as big as your real coffee table, you'll probably need to look at other ottomans.

I needed something simple expensive for under my desk at work - something that wouldn't stand out. The black colored ottoman has been perfect, it gives my legs a break from sitting upright at a computer all day.

I bought this ottoman as I want to use it a stool to put beside my shoe racks. It turned out that this ottoman doesn't have a frame and only has sponge inside, so it's too soft. I don't like the feeling that I sit on something but lose balance all the time, so I put it away as pure decoration now. It's cute though and the fabric is good. Just think about what do you want to do with it.

Packaging and shipment time were awesome. Unfortunately, the product quality was not. If your expecting a high quality foot rest you need to keep looking. I was expecting to be able to sit on the ottoman but my family is unable to as there is no inner core to the foot rest. Sitting light things on it like a magazine, small tray, plate, etc. are ok but I wouldn't recommend putting a glass or bowl on it as it will knock over easily. Although I saw the measurements I was expecting it to be a little bigger. I purchased 4 of them and putting them together makes for a nice foot rest put still no structure to sit on them.

Wanted a sturdy ottoman to prop my feet on and provide extra seating, all at a small price -- and this fits the bill perfectly! Comfortable and very sturdy, quite attractive -- I love it. Am grateful to the reviewer who said that the khaki was more of a sage color, because that's what it is in this item -- and just what I wanted. Overstock is always worth a look, and so often comes through, beautifully.

When I ordered this I did not expect it to be as "firm" as it is. Not to be misinterpreted, this is a good thing! The texture of the fabric has a really nice feel to it, it is similar to a microsuede, almost. What I figured would simply be a footstool has become a multi-functional accesory for our household. It is a footstool, multi - use table, drinkholder, stepstool, and for the youngest toddler a "climbing toy". I ordered the Khaki and it was a bit more of an "olive" or "sage" color than it appeared online; but overall it is a really beautiful shade and blends in with both of our sofas (one is a mocha color and the other is a khaki and sage) and our carpet (which is a pale hazlenut color) very well.

Bought two in black. Just as they said it would be. No surprises. Comfy, nice looking, and a GREAT value.

It's exactly what I wanted as far as size and comfort. It is also sturdy the only thing that was off was the color. I ordered the khaki and thought it would be like a beige/cream/off white like family color but it looks more light/soft green, different color and thankfully it still went with the colors on the chair but not the colorr I was hoping for.

These cubes are cute, fun, sturdy and decorative. I use them in my living room in place of a coffee table. My kids love to sit, lay and put their feet up on them. I can put my laptop on top of one of them and move them around with ease. They are nice but could stand to be a tad bit cheaper in my opinion.

These are possibly the BEST items that I have purchased from Overstock.com and I have purchased many items. They are much stronger than I thought they would be. I am able to stand on them if I need too. Oh and they look great also. They cannot be beat! The price is OUTSTANDING.

Multi-purpose in casual decor ... ottoman, coffee table, extra seating ... and can add a touch of accent color (I refuse to say "pop".) Fabric is not rich enough or tailored well enough for a formal setting. The "khaki" is actually a medium sage. Wonderful colors!

very cheaply made and it was packed incorrectly. when i went to cut open the box, i cut the fabric. there was nothing in between for protection.

These cubes are very good looking and may be used as a small table next to a chair or bed. They are a little too soft to be used as extra seating.

Useful as leg rest lying on the floor in front of the tv. After a couple years, the cubes are holding up without any deterioration.

We LOVE LOVE LOVE our Chamois Cube Ottoman! We have had it for quite for time now....I want to say about a year, and it has held up threw 2 children and 2 adults...several scrubs....we sit on it toss it around - it is just great! I only wish they had more! Thanks overstock.com!!!

I like this ottoman, it is functional and attractive. I didn't want to pay a lot for something that my children will ultimately ruin, so this fits well for us.

. . . but it does the job. A square, soft but not squashed when my feet are on it. Good size, just right for reading, watching tv.

The color and size was accurate. Very comfy to put your feet on. Light weight. Shipping was fast. Would like to see a chocolate brown though.

i only use mine for the dog to lay on in front of the window(chihuahua) so for comfort I can only guess, but she seems to like it. for the money it's an ok piece of furniture.
