This comforter set is beautiful. The quality for the price is phenomenal. I received the set today and was completely thrilled with the look and feel of all of it. My comforter DOES have the ruffle trim, by the way. Although the caption doesn't state that it's oversized, it is. In fact, I have one of those extra thick queen sized mattress sets and the comforter hangs a little longer on the sides than it probably should, but I love a big comforter in the winter! The bedskirt is a couple of inches too long for my bed, but hey, I'll either puddle it or hem it! The floral shams have the ruffling on three sides with a four or five button closure along the bottom--a lovely detail. I did not expect this kind bang for my buck with this purchase and I'll be shopping here a whole lot more in the future.

The fabric is great, the print is not as subtle as it appears, but is still very nice. The only thing I'm not in love with is the bedskirt, it's too colorful and has wide stripes. It's a little circus-like.

I recieved my comforter set within a few days of ordering. The size is great. I have a king sized bed and the bed skirt goes to the floor, hides what is stored under the bed! The comforter hangs long enough to overlap the bed skirt. The colors are bright and vibrant. My husband wasn't sure about it being too flowery at first but has grown to like it. The loft of the comforter is perfect....not too light, not too heavy. I would recommend this set to anyone looking for a nice change.

This is a beautiful comforter set! The colors are lovely, and would go with many color schemes and decor. It is very high quality as well, and is 100% cotton. The shams have buttons along the bottom rather than the usual "pockets" that are normally seen. Mine does not have the ruffles, but has a pretty cord to finish off the edge. I am so pleased with this purchase. You absolutely won't find a better buy out there.

I ordered this comforter set for my daughters bedroom. I was very pleased with this set. The fabric is nice and the colors are beautiful. Her walls are painted a soft pink and the comforter has just the right color to match. This is a fluffy and thick comforter but it also is soft!! The queen fit her bed perfect. (she has a four poster bed with pillowtop mattress) but the comforter fits perfect and hangs just right.

This is a beautiful comforter set. Mine had the gold braid on 3 sides.It is very large and heavy and extremely warm. I would recommend this set to any and everybody. It is great.

The color of the comforter set is more yellow than cream colored and quite different from the picture on the website. I am familiar with Rose Tree linens so I knew the quality would be excellent, however, I am disappointed that the appearance was so different.

The comforter is beautiful. The braided edge is different from the picture but looks great. The colors are perfect for what I wanted. It looks crisp and elegant on the high poster bed. Thanks Overstock for a great value.

I love this comforter...as read above 100% cotton is very hard to find, the weight, feel and quality workmanship of this set is simply luxurious. For the past 20 years or so I have used down comforters (usually in plain white) as I couldn't find anything that felt as good as this one particular comforter I'd had years ago, well...finally...here it is! And, I think I paid more for that one years ago than this one. The cording trim looks so much more elegant than the pleated hem shown, but I may not have even noticed if I hadn't read it above! lol If this came in other prints/colors I would probably order them too just to ensure having one around for the next 20 years.

This is a very pretty comforter, fabric feels very nice and is heavier than I thought it would be. It does NOT have the adorable ruffles as shown in the picture, but a corded finish. I may send it back . I was SO looking forward to getting this package and was disappointed when I opened it today. It is however , very pretty and soft. Dont care much for the cord. But for the money its a great buy.

this set is an amazing quality!the shams that come with set are same as comforter. striped shams in photo are european shams.

The colors are true and very pretty. I like getting value received at a great cost! I really like the weight of the comforter, and that it's made entirely of cotton, due to our very hot and humid climate. I searched for a couple of months before I settled on this particular one. Simply because 100% cotton was hard to find. What I didn't like was: it has cording around the border instead of the pleated hem as shown in the pic- as a previous review already stated. The material is starting to shift down from the top, as well. Thank you.

The shams are not striped as shown in the picture but instead are floral, and the description does say striped. There is no tucked trim on the comforter as shown in the picture, but instead there is a golden colored cording.
