I am extremely pleased with this quilt set. The stitching is wonderful. There is even special detail stitching. It is the perfect weight during the spring and summer. I plan to keep it on my bed in winter though. Its too pretty to put away. The quilt has many colors that coordinate perfectly together. It would go well in any room that is blue, white, beige, sage green, maroon, or brown. This quilt is definitely worth every penny. This is an extremely good value.

This is my first OVERSTOCK purchase and I ordered several quilts to give as gifts for Christmas. I was very impressed with this quilt both in quality and appearence. It is light weight but very nice quilting. (My grandmother quilts and this rivals that old stitching she does sone of the stitches are a lttle long...but she couldnt see well so hers were too) It is hand stitched and has a great cooridination of colors. It did have more olive green than I anticipated...which my dad hates...oops! But I love it...have it on my bed now. I did order the King for my Queen size bed and it fits nicely leaving plenty of hangover room without effecting the look of the quilt on the bed. I hope y'all love this as much as I do!

I recently purchased the Carpenter Star Patchwork Quilt for my son's bed. It's absolutely beautiful! The colors are vibrant, the workmanship excellent, and the quality of the fabric wonderful. I would definitely recommend this quilt to anyone who is looking for great quality at a super price!

I absolutely love this quilt set! It's prettier than the pictures show and it's very good quality. However, I would recommend that if you have queen-size bed you should get the king-size quilt.

My quilt came today, and I love it! The colors and designs in the fabric are great. I have been looking for a star quilt for sometime & didn't want to pay alot. I am using it as a wall hanging in my 2 story foryer and the colors match the country styling of the rest if the house. I just have to figure out something creative to do with the shams that came with it !

My husband and I both love the quilt-not too heavy or hot. Beautiful colors-looked great in bedroom with our sky blue walls. Relatives have seen it and all seem to really like it and say how expensive it looks.

Love it...just love it! It's beautifully detailed, nicely weighted and looks great on our new bed. I purchased the king for our queen bed because our bed sits up high, fits perfect and covers the mattress & box spring on both sides. I also like the fact that it came with standard shams because we are using it on a queen bed. Trust me, if your queen bed is a high one then this king quilt is perfect! Nice price too from Overstock.com.

The quilt pieces are machine sewed together. The quilting is done with WHITE thread, not along any seam or around the stars, but random, unlike a REAL quilt. The WHITE thread that was used to QUILT the item looked like it had been basted in with varying lengths of stiching. If you KNOW quilts, you will not like this one, even though it appears to have been hand-quilted (by a 5 year old.) Don't like giving bad reviews, but I was very dissatisfied with this item, and even MORE dissatisfied when I found out I was going to have to pay a $4.95 restocking fee! BTW, my dissatisfaction in the restocking fee was not taken into account when I wrote this review and issued the star-rates.

I am very happy with this quilt. Love the colors and the pattern and it looks awesome on my bed. Now the fabric on this quilt isn't as smooth as the picture shows. I guess you may discribed it rumbly or sear sucker looking but I like this quality, it's more country looking . Also its a much better quality than other manufactored quilts for the price.

This quilt was prettier than I thought it would be. Usually you get what you pay for, but this piece is handstitched and made of lovely fabric. It was exactly what I had been looking for and it was very inexpensive. I have seen comparable products for hundreds of dollars. My only complaint would be that it was thinner than I thought but that's what blankets are made for!!

This product is lovely. The colors are bright and beautiful and the fabric excellent. I had to deduct a few points because, even with a a king size quilt, only standard shams are supplied; a bit of a disappointment, since they don't span the width of the bed. Nonetheless, this is a fine product and a very good value.

This is a beautiful quilt. I was concerned that the colors would be too bright for my room, but the actual colors are much more earth toned and it matches perfectly. I've had to fix one small place where the stitching separated, but considering I have a 110 lb dog that sleeps on the bed that's nothing, the quilt is quite sturdy and stands up to weekly washings without fading nor any further incident. Excellent quality and value, and it's beautiful, I highly recommend it.

I was very pleased with this quilt. I was expecting a thinner quilt, but this one is quite heavier than some other quilts that I have ordered in the past. The colors are beautiful, there is more moss green than I expected but it doesn't matter. I ordered a King size for my queen bed. I would recommend others do the same. The handstiching does look loosely basted but I don't think that it takes away from the overall appearance. Thanks Overstock for carrying such great quality items at such low prices!

Love this quilt! I've been looking for a "manly" but tasteful quilt for my teenager's full size antique iron bed. I ordered a full/queen and it looks great. Easy wash & dry, no wrinkles or shrinkage. My husband and son even like it & that says a lot!!!
