Darker than shown.
Ordered this for my mother-in-law. It is nice quality, but much deeper in color than shown on web. I am glad I didn't buy things to coordinate until I actually saw it, or I may have been in trouble (color is midway between purple and the lavender shown--really a lot darker). Quality is not superb, but fairly decent considering price.

looks nice but could be softer
Overall I am pleased with my comforter. The cotton is cheap so it's not as soft as I would like and it also wrinkles but good quality for the money. It's really really warm so if you got hot at night I wouldn't recommend this. I removed my extra blanket and it works fine for me, but I also get really cold at night. The color was slightly darker than the picture but not by a lot.
