I bought this for my son who is 5. I wanted a set that was colorful but not 'toddler like' with trucks or airplanes. He says he really likes it. It is 100% cotton and washed very well. I would say it's average for softness, maybe with a few washings it will get more soft but it is also not rough where my son would be uncomfortable. No bleeding of colors and it appears to be well made so it will last a while. I love the stripes but there is a light brown color stripe and on my computer it appears more white. I think it would look crisper with a full white stripe but the set still looks really great. Overall, great 3 piece set. Not sure it was a great deal regarding price but I liked this set much better than some of the other higher priced stores.

. I was looking for something for our 20 year old son's room that was leaving his teen life behind (joined the Navy), and would reflect his new military life. This quilt struck me as something that could work with patriotic colors. It is a nice, medium weight quilt that fits the mattress well. It's not so long that it hangs down and covers most of the bed skirt. It is more of a coverlet, I'd say, than a full sized quilt. The colors are great, but it really is hard to tell online what they are, fully. The lighter blue isn't solid. It's a blue/white gingham, and one with some stripes in it as well. There is also a khaki stripe with navy thinner stripes in it, and the "white" isn't a true white, but more of an off-white. That was the biggest thing that is different from the picture, I'd say. I was expecting it to be a brighter, crisper white. The red is more of a rusty red. Other than that, it's a very good quality. It is a quilt that makes a statement, for sure.

The quality is high and the colors rich - it completely brightened my son's room. It is very boyish without the popular characters he would surely outgrow. This was my first O.com order and I was very pleased.

We love this comforter set! We purchased one for our toddler's room and the colors are perfect. With the exception of the red being slightly darker than it appeared on our computer screen, it was exactly what we expected. He has been using it for the past 8 months or so and it seems to be holding up extremely well. I would say it is not a thick quilt and would not do much in the way of warmth. We use it more decoratively when the bed is made. The stitching is holding up really well and we haven't noticed any stitches coming apart but if you used this as a blanket for sleeping I'm not sure how it would fair since we fold it at the end of the bed for bedtime. I would definitely recommend purchasing this if this is look you want. We have been extremely happy. It's exactly what I was looking for.

This is a very thin. lightweight quilt. Some of the stitching that holds the fabric stripes together was already coming apart when I received this quilt, causing a small hole.

Love the look of this bedding. It is very light weight however so beware, we use it on top of another comforter to gain the warmth. The pattern and colors look great in my sons room and don't tie use to a theme in his often changing space.

We finally completed my son's bed (a year later....) with this ensamble. He's only 3 years old right now and I like that this should last him many years, both in quality and in design/style. The quilt is not super heavy and will be great on it's own for half the year, and with an extra blanket underneath it will keep him warm all winter.

I purchased three of these for my boys room. They neeed bedding that would match. I had been looking for quite a while and couldn' t find anything that would be bright and carry through all seasons (that was affordable). I liked the appearance of this on the web site and it was affordable enough to order three. It is true to color. Nice and bright and with three of these in one room it looks nice and neat. Lots of stripes but it does not over power you (it is a 12x15 room). I am pleased with the quality and like the square toss pillow. It is a light weight quilt and I was hoping for something a little heavier but I will just add a light comforter underneath during the winter. They are perfect weight for summer or warmer climates. I am a happy customer.
