After looking for a queen-sized quilt for several months, I have finally found the perfect choice!!! I was initally attracted to the colors of this quilt when viewing it on Overstock, and after recieving it in person, I am just stunned! It is absolutely beautiful!! The quilting is very neat, it is not your boring mainstream quilting. There are several patterns such as cables and squares. It makes the quilt even more attractive! The colors are very soft and relaxing and is a perfect fit in my shabby cottage decor. It is very sturdy (it tolerates cat traffic wonderfully), yet light for all seasons. I am not disappointed! You won't be either when you buy this quilt!

This quilt set is one heck of a value. If you are looking for a 100% cotton, cotton fill quilt...this is it. I am only sorry I did not order it sooner. The reverse side is a georgeous soft stripe, back of shams match...It is a definite oversize queen..The value is tremendous after pricing 100% cotton quilts elsewhere. OVERTSTOCK did it again..Hope you enjoy it as much as I am!!!

The colors are portrayed incorrectly. The quilt by itself is not particularly pretty, but can be spruced up with pretty throw pillows, a red throw, etc. The most aggravating thing is that the king size quilt comes with standard size pillow shams. Who does that?

Bought this for an accent quilt in our living room. King size is HUGE (that is my mistake!) Colors are NOT as depicted; it is a darker tan color as opposed to the natural muslin it appears in the photo. The red is a deep red (not really maroon or burgandy, still a true red, but very deep). The striped side is where I was more disappointed. It does not have the variation shown in the picture. It appears very washed out and the two colors of tan are almost imperceptible from one another. If you are going for tan with red accent, this would work but if you are looking for something that really warms the room with lots of red, this will disappoint. The fabric feels like a low thread count, but I have yet to find a machine-sewn, cotton quilt under $100 that has a nice hand to it. The quilt itself is soft enough and flexible, not stiff or starchy. The stitching looks hand sewn because it is uneven and crooked in some places. That does not bother me at all, it adds to the charm of having a quilt. Gives it the hand-sewn look. The scalloped edges are nicely done and the quilting is done in a frame work within a framework with some accents like a braided band and some curly cues (I have no idea what the actual stitch pattern names are!) While I was disappointed in the colors, it will still work for what I need it for. If you rely on reviews instead of the picture, you should not be disappointed. I am a little worried about washing as it has the "tea stained" look that often bleeds. If washing significantly improves or diminish the quality, I will return and edit this review.

I am always on the lookout for good bedding. When I saw this set I just fell in love w/ it! I just received it recently. I am very pleased. The quilt is very sturdy and wellmade. It is not a thick bulky quilt but I live in Tx and this is perfect in all seasons. The background is a soft tan and the floral is a dark red. The back side is a softer faded look with stripes of pale reds and tan. The shams are the same print and quilted fabric on the front side, then a striped cotton back side. The scalloped edging is really nice. It is on all four sides of the quilt and all around the shams as well. The quilt and shams fit very well on my queen size bed. I ordered the full/queen size. I have read other buyers are getting king size for queen beds. I prefer the look of the bed skirt showing and a king would have definitely covered that. It is a perfect fit for my bed. Overall I am pleased with the set. It has a soft, romantic, vintage appeal without fussy bows and ribbons. I do a cottage style decor in my home and this set really fits in. This is my third bedding set purchase from o/s in the last couple months and I haven't been disappointed yet. I have shopped a great deal for these quilted sets online and in stores and you will not find quality sets like this for overstock's price. Even a simple quilted sham elsewhere will cost what I paid for this entire set. Overstock rocks!

The look of this quilt set and the quality is okay, not great. As for the size, it is a little small (about 4") for a king size pillow top mattress and box spring. I have not washed it as I am still debating whether to return it or not. It has a overwhelming smell when opened but a few days in the fresh air will take care of that. The color is burgundy and tea stain. The stripe side is very mute and a pink color and not very pretty. I would recommend this product only to someone that I knew would like this type, color, and price.

Love this quilt! The background color is a tea stained color, so matching it can be tricky. I matched this us with some burgundy pillows and a burgundy bed skirt and it looks beautiful together.

I am soooo pleased with the quilt and shams. I ordered the king for my queen bed and it makes a beautiful spread. the quality is excellent-stitching is wonderful. My daughter is ordering the king for her king bed to use as a quilt. I is difficult to find a quilt for king beds that are large enough this one is huge! Colors are just what we needed. Very good deal.

This quilt is very nice. The antique color and tones are just as described. I can pull this up and put my pillows on my bed and it looks like a well made bed. The price is exceptional I have paid more much more for quits of this guality. The king comes with king cases and they tie on. You will not be dissapointed I assure you.

This quilt is absolutely beautiful! MUCH nicer than the picture! The design is a very dark red and go's perfectly with our dark cranberry red walls, and it actually brightens up the room since the quilt is mostly a really light creamy beige. I Just love it! Excellent quality.

This delightfully soft cotton quilt has the look of an antique with the advantages of modern fabrics. The background color is an aged ecru shade giving it the appearance of a cherished heirloom. The scalloped edges add extra flair. It looks absoulutely fabulous on the 4-poster bed in my Victorian house.

I was so excited to find this new yet antique-look bedspread! The fact that I didn't have to buy the matching shams separately was a huge bonus. I saved about $100 from the choice I had previously made from another merchant.

I WAS VERY NERVOUS ABOUT BUYING A QUILT ONLINE WITHOUT SEEING THE COLOR OR FEELING THE FABRIC. I TOOK A CHANCE AND VERY HAPPY THAT I DID. THE QUALITY OF THE QUILT IF FAR BETTER THEN I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE. IT' S VERY SOFT. THE COLORS ARE VERY NICE. IT'S MORE MAROON THEN RED AND I WAS HAPPY ABOUT THAT. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT. CANNOT BEAT THE PRICE.

If you are looking for the perfect quilt to express your love of antiques or shabby chic, this is the quilt for you. I bought this quilt for my daughter who is into quiet, soothing colors and the look of antique, and she absolutely flipped for it. The stitching is beautiful.....the look timeless. ! I ended up buying one for myself the day after Christmas and can't wait to put it on my brass bed!

I bought this for my teenage daughter who is redoing her bedroom in reds and golds. I ended up returning it because the colors are much more faded than they appear in the picture. The red does not stand out well against the tan background. Overall, it's just a very bland looking quilt. The fabric is soft, but feels thin.

I'm not crazy about the toile print on the quilt. However, I put it on my bed stripped side up and I love it - pretty pink & beige. I also like the scalloped edges. If you are buying king size, beware the pillow cases are standard size. Overall, nice quilt for the money!

This quilt set is gorgeous. Rich colors, quality cotton fabric & oversized - I love it! The only disappoint is that my "king" set came with 2 standard sized shams - and they look lost on such a big bed. I will have to purchase 2 king sized shams elsewhere to fill in the space behind them. Overall I'm really glad I bought it - I've been looking for a quilt such as this for a long time. I've purchased and returned many - this one is a keeper!

Every thing was great with this quilt set except it had a odor that I could not stand. But all was not lost because my sister love the quilt and could not smell it.
