Yes, these sheets are thin, but that is because they are very good quality sheets. I've had these for a year and they are washed bi-weekly. No piling, no tears, and are still the softest sheets I've ever owned. Now, I'm a bit of a bedding whore and I know my sheets. I typically only buy sheets that are over 700 thread count and NEVER sateen. But these, at just 380 thread count, are the best sheets I own.
