    This topper has completely changed the way my husband and I sleep! We have a 5 year-old, king size, no flip, pillowtop mattress that has desperately needed replacement for the past 2 years. Since it is a no-flip, we have developed 'grooves' in the areas where we both normally sleep. Financially we just have not been able to afford a new mattress. We were so desperate for better sleep, that about 6 months ago we flipped it anyway and had been sleeping on the bottom side! When our mattress pad recently had a dryer incident, we came to Overstock to replace it. For the price of a quality mattress pad, we were able to get this foam topper and a standard mattress pad to cover it. The difference was immediate and dramatic. No more arms/hands falling asleep & tingling at night, no more back aches and most importantly sleeping without waking (or sometimes even changing positions!) for the entire night. Yes, some complain about it being a little warm to sleep on and I would agree. We are both rather 'hot' sleepers as well. However, I honestly have to say that the other benefits FAR out weigh a slightly warmer night's sleep. Buy one now, and give one as a gift to someone you know who looks sleepy!!!

  • As good as it sounds

    I a very pleased with this matress topper. I find it very comfortable and am sleeping better. I aired it out as instructed and I don't notice any odors. I like that it has the "bumps" that seem to make it cooler. I think you could use it the other way (smooth side up) if desired. I tried a thinner topper before and there is a BIG difference between the inexpensive 2" topper I bought locally and this 3" topper. It feels so much softer and I don't feel like I compress it all the way. My hips and shoulders don't hurt from sleeping anymore. The only problem I have is that my older sheets are not deep enough so I had to use my old elastic corner straps to keep them on. I don't yet know how it will perform over a long period of time but it's looking good...

    I was very nervous because the price was so low and the shipping was free and it was 30 plus pounds but I had the best nights sleep I have ever had. I had a feather bed topper before and tossed and turned. I have a Queen size bed and this topper actually makes my bed feel and look bigger. It is so comfortable, I didn't wake up once and woke up before the alarm clock this morning refreshed. The cheapest topper I found anywhere that is 3 inches thick. It stays in place and I can't wait to go back to bed ha ha. The only thing wrong with it is my cat tip toes on it because he's not used to it yet. This made my mattress feel better than brand new. I would highly recommend this product !!!!

  • Much bigger than I expected.

    I wanted a topper for a 10 yr. old mattress on a king-sized bed to make it more comfortable. It is so sumptuous and large I could hardly get it on the bed. LOL It met all my needs and makes me feel like I'm sleeping on a cloud.

    Just what I was hoping for, easily unfolded. The smell went away in 2 days. Even though my current mattress is fairly new it was to firm, instead of spending another $2000. I decided to try this. I am so glad I did!

  • It made a world of difference

    This is the third one of this particular brand I have purchased. One went on a hard sofa bed mattress. Now my granddaughter wants to sleep on the "magic bed" when she is here. One went on my bed. Although I had a pillowtop mattress, it was still uncomfortable, I'd wake up through the night with back pain. The Bodipedic Memory Foam took care of that. The other pad was sent to my family. My sister has arthritis in her shoulders and never got a decent night sleep. She would end up downstairs in the recliner. She says with the memory foam pad, she can sleep through the night and wake up with very little shoulder pain.

We have one of these fr use on a foldout couch. Haven't tried it but, I think a 3 inch would help but, wouldn't take all the pressure places away! Would hep greatly but I don't know if one can place the pad in a folding couch. You may have to keep it separate from the sofa and place it under the matress pad, which I recommend since memory foam can get warm in summer. rlcollier7 on Apr 26, 2013

I've been researching MF toppers and this one looks best for me. I am confused however. Is there a real difference between a 3" and a 4" topper? This one has the egg crate effect on top but it's got a thick full blown memory foam mattress with it. It's very comfortable and feels just like a full blown memory foam bed. robynskis on Feb 25, 2013

regular cover will do...i use a blaket as my fitted sheet cuz i was sick of the sheet popping up every time my BF turned and twisted at night...a blanket the next size up will do the trick and it keeps you warmmer in the winter..and for the summer use a cotton blanket and you'll stay cool eespo85 on Mar 20, 2013
