i loved this large warm soft blanket for myself so much, that I bought one in each color for "open me first" gifts for all my kids returning to snowy RI for Christmas (Iwas thinking I would be restocking/replacing my blanket. Every one loved them When they lft, they all wanted to bring them with them!. No pilling. Lovely colors, So so soft. It is not a massively heavy wool type blanket, But adds to the warm pile!

I bought this one for the guest bedroom and my guests love it. It is warm without the weight. I also bought one for my bed and I feel it gets too warm. I recently bought a wool blanket and it is a better choice for me. I liked the fact that it matches the sheets which I also bought. Makes a nice looking bed!

I am getting rid of my other lightweight blanket now I have this one. This blanket looks good, with a flat nap and sheen, and its tight weave feels good. As a transitional blanket, it's very comfortable. It should also ind good use in winter in tandem with a wool blanket.

This was supposed to be soft fleece. It is so rough that it feels like wool. I purchased the tan color, which was true to the picture online, but the softness is zero. Do NOT like :(.

I bought this blanket for my living room sofa because when my dughter stays over she sleeps on the couch and it is very cold next to the wall. She used it yesterday and said it was the warmest blanket she had ever used. She even questioned if it had some wool content. She and I are very happy with the blanket.

Purchased this down blanket in color Cordovan; nice shade of burgundy. Overall quality very good. Also purchased similar blanket, Luxurious 300 Thread Velvet Trim, in Black Plum. Equally nice. Both come of out box/plastic smelling fresh, and I aired them out less than a day before putting on beds for the night. Soft, comfortable, and warm, but not "heavy" like wool blankets and such. Pleased with both and would buy again without reservation.

I bought the king size for my queen size bed and now my husband can't possibly steal all the covers! I hate these Arizona winters and now I am nice and warm, at least while I sleep. The blanket has a nice weight to it, not too heavy that it presses down and smothers me like wool does.

I would buy 100 of these blankets if I could. Microfleece can be great or it can be crappy, as many of you have found out. This is the high quality stuff. It's soft but it's not fluffy (always suspicious of quality with that kind of MF), and the side stitches make it even more sturdy. I bought the white/tan as a neutral, and it's held up to my clacky claws Jack Russell terrier as long as I cover it with a flat sheet (not a fan of duvet covers). It you want a great blanket for chilly nights (I live in Seattle), buy this blanket. If you live in an area that will have yet another "colder than Mars" winter, just add a sturdy wool blanket or a high quality down comforter-or both!

This blanket is great. I use it all the time. It acts like a wool blanket and looks great wash after wash. I love it and highly recommend it to others who want to keep warm. :)

These are a great value for a spring and fall blanket. These blankets are great for those chilly nites when a heavy quilt or wool blanket would be too much. They feel good and are very comfortable , not scratchy.

My husband was doubtful the blanket would keep us, especially ME warm, but was willing to give it a try. He was also concerned the filling would stay in place, when washed. To our delight the blanket was light AND kept me warm. The plus side is our cats can lay on the blanket and I can wash it, and not worry about the fur staying on the blanket like it did with the wool blanket we had. The filling also stayed where it should because of the box stitching on the blanket. Although it is a light blanket it is definitely too warm for summer if you don't have air conditioning.

Blanket adds a nice layer of warmth which is surprising considering how lightweight it is. We use a cotton blanket year round and have added this blanket over it, with both under a heavy denim comforter. Husband didn't want a weighty wool blanket and I didn't want to spend a lot of money, so I chose this as an accomodation since we both agreed something more was necessary now that it's getting cold here in northern NJ. The blanket's color is a very pleasing dusty blue, just like in the picture; could not find a comparable color in any of those home and bath stores. Trim is whipstitched; bound would have been nicer but it's fine nonetheless. This blanket is a good value for the money and we are both happy with it.

I can't use wool blankets b/c I'm allergic. My old fleece blanket was really worn out and it took me some searching to find this one. I love the color, the softness, the fit, the weight of it. I couldn't be happier!

This blanket really lives up to the positive reviews I read before purchasing it. I had been using an Outlast/NASA wool blanket over the winter which definitely keeps me warm but is quite scratchy. My dachshund, Zoe, experimented with it and ended up balling up a lot of the material on the top edge by the pillow--she's very talented that way. I wanted something cooler for the spring/summer and this is perfect. Even though this blanket is very smooth, especially compared to the Outlast product, I will always be using a top sheet over it to keep it clean (it's in white) and away from Zoe. It is sized properly and is the perfect weight for the South. For the winter, I am considering my first down comforter(ultralight) then again I can probably get by doubling up with another blanket in a different color. You can't go wrong with this unless you live in a deep freeze.

This blanket is very warm, soft and attractive. The colors are true to the picture. It is heavier than any fleece blanket I have had before, which I like, and it is as warm as a wool blanket without the cleaning hassles. It goes right in the washer (on cold). I bought one last year to try it out and have just bought three more. I highly recommend it.

Not only available for our king-sized bed, but a winter blanket (we live in Alaska) that is reasonably light in weight. Wool and cotton winter-blankets bother my husband's toes and feet because they are too heavy. This one is not. It washes and dries well. It's very UNLIKE most cheap fleece blankets I run across in stores; it's much heavier and better made. I will probably order a second very soon. I'm delighted with it.

I wanted a blanket that was more substantial than a cotton one, but I didn't want a wool one. This blanket fits all my criteria. It is warm and snuggly, drapes well, and feels good next to my skin.

This was a gift for my elderly mother who specified that she wanted a wool blanket in pale yellow. Well, try to find one of those, especially in sunny Southern California, where I live. (None of the local department stores carry any wool blankets, period.) Overstock.com simplified the shooping and shipping: gift arrived within days of placing the order, despite the Christmas rush and a freak blizzard in DC. The rankings are my mother's, as I haven't seen it. She was pleased and admits that the cotton flannel is less scratchy than wool.

This is the perfect blanket for folks who want to be warm and prefer not to be weighed down by heavy wool or cotten blankets and quilts. It's soft to the touch, washes and dries easily, and is a beautiful dusky lilac color. It's a great down alternative for those of us with allergies, and the price is perfect., too! The only drawback from my perspective is the length. It's standard and will work for most mattresses, but my mattress is one that requires deep pockets on sheets and a few more inches in the length of this blanket would give me a little more slack..
