I have orderer this blanket twice before, one for me and one for my son who has allergies. What I like about it the most is that it is light weight, yet keeps you warm. I only use a sheet and this blanket all year long and in the winter it's all I need even with keeping my thermostat on 65. I hate having heavy blankets on me that make me sweat. This is perfect. Light, comfortable and keeps you very warm. I have now ordered one for my 83 yr. old mother as a Xmas gift because she had occasion to sleep in my son's bed with this blanket and she was very impressed. I recommend it highly.

I ordered this blanket to replace a large down alternative quilt with something that I can wash frequently because of allergies. The blanket is beautiful and will fit in my washer nicely. I have not washed it yet but am very hopeful that it will wash nice. It is very nice to sleep under.

I was looking for a down alternative for the spare bedroom (in case of guest allergies), this was a nice lightweight blanket that I used under a quilt (we live in Maine). The blanket sheds a ton all over the quilt (which is very dark). The fuzzies are like large peels, not just threads. Have had it a year and it is being recycled/tossed. DOn't waste your money.

In the past we had always used a down blanket but suddenly developed allergies to feathers. My husband and I are now using this down alternative blanket and just love it. It is so easy to take care of. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this blanket to anyone! 5holer

Comfortable, warm and good for allergy prone. Will be good in the summer as well.

Not only is this blanket warm, it's well made, and has no fuzz or dander to stir up my allergies. I like this blanket so well I'm thinking about ordering several more. It is very light weight, cleans easily, and yet provides the warmth and comfort of a much heavier counterpart. I would recommend t his blanket without hesitation. A great blanket for a great price!!

I am very happy with this blanket. It's not super thick or soft (at least out of the package) but it is quite warm and much softer after a washing with laundry softer and dryer softener sheets. I use it with my summer quilt so that I don't need a down comforter (allergies) and it's been very comfortable. For the price, I think it is an excellent buy.

I love these blankets and only thing I can not comment on yet is how well they wash and dry in my new front loader machines. The reason I purchased 2 twin sizes for my king size bed was to be able to easily wash each separately versus trying to wash a king size comforter. We did have a lovely expensive polyfil type comforter but it did not wash/dry well in our new Extra Capacity Front Load Washer & Dryer which I had purchased specifically to be able to wash those comforters instead of taking to cleaners or laundry mat. With a kitty sleeping on the bed, I need to be able to wash the top linens often to avoid allergies. After purchasing the 2 blue twin blankets we realized we still needed more warmth with our unusually cold winter. I did purchase separately from the same source a king size down blanket in gold color that I have on top of the flat sheet with the 2 twin blue down blankets on top of the king size blanket. The 2 twin blankets overlap in the middle and look very nice on top of the gold blanket. Easy to make the bed and if one of us gets too warm, easy to pull off the twin blanket without disturbing the other. I will probably move the gold king size blanket to our guest room queen bed to replace the poyfill comforter on that bed. Those types of comforters get huge in a washer and do not wash well, so I am hoping these down blankets will be easier to wash and dry. Will review again after I do wash/dry them to let others know how it goes...

This blanket is absolutely perfect. I have purchased 3 so far and they are all great. I love that they are lightweight, warm enough for me for an Ohio winter, and they look great even after being washed in super hot temp. (dust mites only die in super hot temp over 120degrees) I wash these often due to dust allergies for myself and my kids, they have held up very nicely.

Light weight, very soft and warm. Does not have lint that gets into air, being an allergy sufferer this was important to me. I would buy this item again.

So far so good. Nice and warm. Very similar to my down blanket - lightweight yet very warm. Would not recommend down, feathers everywhere after a few washings - not to mention the allergy factor that I did not consider. Color was nice - wish there were more colors to choose from as I would purchase another blanket.

I am a down junkie but also discovering an allergy to down so I'm moving over the down alternatives. I got this for a blanket for my bed. It is not oversized at all, so don't expect extra on the sides. It has two seams to line it up on the bed and the blanket is extremely thin and lightweight. No "loft". But the microfiber cover is very soft, and the baffles provide a level of warmth I did not expect looking at it. The satin border around it is a little chintzy but appropriate for the price. Overall i'm really pleased with this blanket.

The only part of this experiment I have not figured out is whether I can easily wash and dry this king size down blanket in my new large capacity front loader washer and dryer. I plan to when it needs cleaning and pray it goes well as I can not afford dry cleaning. Love the rich gold color (looks better than photo) and quality seems good. It was ordered and arrived in 2 days. WOW! and to know it was made in the great USA.. even better! last week I had ordered 2 twin size down blankets ( same name brand ,but the subtle striped boxed pattern ) in the prettiest shade of blue. Those 2 blankets now lay on top of this new king size blanket. I can easily wash the twin blankets (separately if needed) more often since my kitty snuggles up with us in bed and I have allergies. With the 2nd king size down blanket now underneath the 2 twins, I was able to take the cotton blanket and cotton coverlet off the bed. One less layer, alot lighter weight to make my chronic swollen ankle feel better and oh so comfy warm.... easy to make up the bed each morning and it looks very pretty with the 2 colors showing, the lovely satin trim and of course color coordinating decorative bed pillows. I am donating my heavy, impossible to wash & dry poly fill comforter to Goodwill... never will buy one of those again!

Seems to be a quality product for the price paid and a good choice for allergy-prone customers that may have an issue with feather fill.

The winter nights in my part of Georgia vary in temperature so much that it can be hard to know what blankets to use when making the bed. The lows can range from the 30's and below to 60's and above- in the space of a single week. Layering is a must, if you want to be warm enough without overheating. This blanket is just the ticket for that. Not too hot for the warmer nights by itself, and just the right amount of loft with a bedspread or blanket on the coldest nights. If it were down, it would probably be even more comfortable all year round. However I chose this to replace a lightweight down comforter due to allergies, and have not been dissapointed.

I have purchased three of these microfiber blankets, one as a gift for someone after I used the 2 I purchased for myself. These are great blankets at a great price; they are very soft, lightweight but yet can be very warm. It has been quite cold here where I live and I do not use feather down anything because of allergies. These blanket have really solved my problem.

This is a super soft, cuddly blanket. I love the chocolate color. My blanket arrived about two weeks ago, just in time for the chilly fall nights in New England. This week I removed a second quilt from my bed because this fleece blanket is plenty warm with flannel sheets and a comforter. I need to wash my bedding often because of allergies and hope the fabric will stand up to the frequent hot water washes.

This is the perfect blanket for folks who want to be warm and prefer not to be weighed down by heavy wool or cotten blankets and quilts. It's soft to the touch, washes and dries easily, and is a beautiful dusky lilac color. It's a great down alternative for those of us with allergies, and the price is perfect., too! The only drawback from my perspective is the length. It's standard and will work for most mattresses, but my mattress is one that requires deep pockets on sheets and a few more inches in the length of this blanket would give me a little more slack..

I bought this blanket as an extra for when my mother-in-law was visiting. It turned out to be great!!! My mother-in law has allergies and the blanket turned out to be so soft and lightweight, she loved it. It is modern looking and pleasing to the eye, I now use it as my coverlet on my bed and it gives the room a very trendy look.

This was my first Overstock buy EVER 5 (count 'em FIVE) years ago when it was featured in the throw size as a crib blanket (which we now fight over for the sofa). It was so amazing I bought one for every bed in the house and haven't had to replace any of them. The fabric is as high of quality and attractive as the day it was delivered even after countless washes on hot cycle with bleach (hello, two kids, many flu seasons, you do the math). The added bonus is that the microfiber surface and down alternative are excellent for allergies (no little crevices to hold dust) and asthma (which my daughter ended up being diagnosed with). Guests in my house always want to steal my blankets! I've been hooked on Overstock since.

This blanket arrived in a timely manner, just like we have come to expect from Overstock. It is so soft and light weight; it is the perfect all year round blanket for here in Florida. The color is right on spot; we ordered the spa green. We did wash it before putting it on the guest room bed and it came out perfect. We like that the blanket has a "down alternative" fill so we do not have to worry about possible allergies of our guests.
