Not only is this blanket warm, it's well made, and has no fuzz or dander to stir up my allergies. I like this blanket so well I'm thinking about ordering several more. It is very light weight, cleans easily, and yet provides the warmth and comfort of a much heavier counterpart. I would recommend t his blanket without hesitation. A great blanket for a great price!!

I am very happy with this blanket. It's not super thick or soft (at least out of the package) but it is quite warm and much softer after a washing with laundry softer and dryer softener sheets. I use it with my summer quilt so that I don't need a down comforter (allergies) and it's been very comfortable. For the price, I think it is an excellent buy.

A great buy for someone with allergies to many fleece and down products!

This was my first Overstock buy EVER 5 (count 'em FIVE) years ago when it was featured in the throw size as a crib blanket (which we now fight over for the sofa). It was so amazing I bought one for every bed in the house and haven't had to replace any of them. The fabric is as high of quality and attractive as the day it was delivered even after countless washes on hot cycle with bleach (hello, two kids, many flu seasons, you do the math). The added bonus is that the microfiber surface and down alternative are excellent for allergies (no little crevices to hold dust) and asthma (which my daughter ended up being diagnosed with). Guests in my house always want to steal my blankets! I've been hooked on Overstock since.

Since I gave this as a gift, I don't know how well it is wearing but it appeared to be very well made and looked like it would hold up to many washings. For those who want a great look but don't want to have to use a bedspread to get it, this is a great option. The recipient of this gift has allergies and needed something that looked nice but would be able to be frequently laundered and I think this blanket is perfect! Since the pattern is in the weave not printed on the fabric, it will maintain it's look.

We just love this blanket. It is so soft and warm we look forward to bedtime. I have allergies and this blanket does not make it hard to breathe. It is easy to wash and dry. The delivery was very fast. I am VERY happy with this purchase!!

The blanket was a gift for my daughter. She is very pleased with the weight of the blanket. Also, she experiences many allergies, so the cotton is washable and easy to clean. The weight of the blanket is easy for layering, depending on the weather.

Purchased this for my daughter who is always cold & was tired of too many blankets to keep warm. She wanted something lighter on her bed and the Down Alternative caught my eye right away. When I saw it was allergy friendly, I decided to purchase one. While it is lightweight, it is not nearly warm enough for her. It's a nice soft blanket, the color was as advertised and I will kep it for use elsewhere, but will buy her something else.

I purchased the butter color and I got the king size since we have a pillow top queen and it fits very nicely! We live in Minnesota so its already getting chilly at night and just love the feel and the warmth of this blanket. I use in underneath our comforter which is not a very thick one so I needed a thinner blanket under it to make it warm for winter. I think if you live in colder areas like here this blanket is great layering with a comforter but I think it would be a little thin by itself unless you live in a warmer climate or you get hot at night. My husband and I love it so much we just ordered another one for our sons room! Perfect price and I love that you can wash it, I am not sure a king would fit in a regular washer but we have an extra large capacity front load and it fits in there. Theres always the laudramat if it doesnt fit in yours. I decided to get rid of all of our comforters and blankets that are dry clean only since my husband and son have allergies and being able to wash blankets have really made a difference. Very happy with purchase!!!

I have orderer this blanket twice before, one for me and one for my son who has allergies. What I like about it the most is that it is light weight, yet keeps you warm. I only use a sheet and this blanket all year long and in the winter it's all I need even with keeping my thermostat on 65. I hate having heavy blankets on me that make me sweat. This is perfect. Light, comfortable and keeps you very warm. I have now ordered one for my 83 yr. old mother as a Xmas gift because she had occasion to sleep in my son's bed with this blanket and she was very impressed. I recommend it highly.

I ordered this blanket to replace a large down alternative quilt with something that I can wash frequently because of allergies. The blanket is beautiful and will fit in my washer nicely. I have not washed it yet but am very hopeful that it will wash nice. It is very nice to sleep under.

Nice blanket - the color I ordered was perfect - went well with my decor. It's lightweight, yet warm. Good value and a great alternative option for those with allergies to down material.

I bought two of these to replace some down blankets because I have a down allergy. They are OK, not great. The fabric is somewhat course. In addition, be aware that the queen size is actually a full/queen size. Because of this they run small so if you have a deep mattress they don't have enough width to tuck them in. I would recommend buying the king size for a queen mattress. These blankets are made in China.

This is an excellent blanket! I bought several for myself as well as for my children. They are lightweight and wash very well. The blankets offer warmth without the weight and we have experienced no allergies with these. A perfect blanket to layer under a comforter or to use alone during warmer seasons to ward off the morning chill. Thanks again Overstock:)

In the past we had always used a down blanket but suddenly developed allergies to feathers. My husband and I are now using this down alternative blanket and just love it. It is so easy to take care of. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this blanket to anyone! 5holer

This is the perfect blanket for folks who want to be warm and prefer not to be weighed down by heavy wool or cotten blankets and quilts. It's soft to the touch, washes and dries easily, and is a beautiful dusky lilac color. It's a great down alternative for those of us with allergies, and the price is perfect., too! The only drawback from my perspective is the length. It's standard and will work for most mattresses, but my mattress is one that requires deep pockets on sheets and a few more inches in the length of this blanket would give me a little more slack..

Purchased for son who has many allergies. I am very pleased over all with the blanket and the price of course.

So far so good. Nice and warm. Very similar to my down blanket - lightweight yet very warm. Would not recommend down, feathers everywhere after a few washings - not to mention the allergy factor that I did not consider. Color was nice - wish there were more colors to choose from as I would purchase another blanket.

I love these blankets and only thing I can not comment on yet is how well they wash and dry in my new front loader machines. The reason I purchased 2 twin sizes for my king size bed was to be able to easily wash each separately versus trying to wash a king size comforter. We did have a lovely expensive polyfil type comforter but it did not wash/dry well in our new Extra Capacity Front Load Washer & Dryer which I had purchased specifically to be able to wash those comforters instead of taking to cleaners or laundry mat. With a kitty sleeping on the bed, I need to be able to wash the top linens often to avoid allergies. After purchasing the 2 blue twin blankets we realized we still needed more warmth with our unusually cold winter. I did purchase separately from the same source a king size down blanket in gold color that I have on top of the flat sheet with the 2 twin blue down blankets on top of the king size blanket. The 2 twin blankets overlap in the middle and look very nice on top of the gold blanket. Easy to make the bed and if one of us gets too warm, easy to pull off the twin blanket without disturbing the other. I will probably move the gold king size blanket to our guest room queen bed to replace the poyfill comforter on that bed. Those types of comforters get huge in a washer and do not wash well, so I am hoping these down blankets will be easier to wash and dry. Will review again after I do wash/dry them to let others know how it goes...

I purchased the sea green alternative blanket. I cannot have heavy blankets weighing down on my legs due to a medical condition. I am also allergic to down. This is just perfect for me, I can be warm without the weight and suffer no allergies. I highly recommend this product, I would give it 5 stars if there wer more colors available.
