Nice enough for a dual purpose
VERIFIED PURCHASEThis blanket has a nice silky look and feel. It is generously sized. The sage green color I chose was exactly as I expected. I bought this product because I needed a new blanket for a guest bed that I had created from two twins. The only other cover I have is a home-made quilt that doesn't quite fit the bed, so it is really nice that this blanket is pretty enough to not be covered by a bedspread or comforter. It is light-weight. I'm not going to be sleeping in that bed so I won't be able to say what climate/season it is good for, but it looks great and surely will be comfortable for spring/fall weather and air-conditioned interiors. Maybe for a Northern winter an extra layer will be needed.

Beautiful blanket
VERIFIED PURCHASEWhen the manufacturer named this a "liquid" blanket, they were right. It feels so soft, is lightweight, yet drapes nicely on the bed...like liquid mercury. The color is lovely, just like in the picture. It is a bright, silvery blue, yet not garish. It did not smell like some bed linens do and it did not have that new stiff feel. I will buy more of these blankets for myself and as gifts. Great product and value.

Decent quality
VERIFIED PURCHASEIt's hard to judge linen quality on the internet, but I guess I expected this blanket to be a bit softer, and with a tighter weave. It's perfectly sufficient, though, it's just not exactly a luxury linen product. I did have a problem with my initial order, though. There was a very noticeable stain on the blanket. Overstock was really great about shipping me out a new one right away (stain-free, thank goodness!), and helping me with the return process. I even got a label to ship it back via UPS at no cost.

VERIFIED PURCHASEAlthough this product was made in China, it seems to be very good quality and the sage green color is exactly the shade I was hoping to have on my bed. I washed it before use and it still looked new -- no pilling or other undesireable features. It is a good summer weight blanket, and I am happy that I ordered it.

Nice, but attracts lint and dog hair
VERIFIED PURCHASEWe purchased the brown color and used two twin sized on our new Cal King bed for the winter months. They didnt look as neat as I would have liked but I think this is due to the comforter we used (see my review on that). The product on it's own is ok, but it is almost too soft, as it tended to attract lent and dog fur, so it wasn't very clean looking. I like a cotton duvet cover, but one that has a little bit more of a crisper feel.

They are a little bigger than "throws", and are beautiful...and user friendly. I am a seasoned seamtress, and this throw is impeccably put together. The colors are vivid, and really go with any décor. We have eight kids, and three Basset Hounds, and we put them on the couches...they stay in place, and really compliment our family room. I am going to purchase more, as soon as some more designs come out, just to have for guests, etc. Also, they are reversible, and after washing them in warm/cold...look like brand new. I am very, very pleased with these, and really all overstock products. Their customer service is unsurpassed. JAB
