  I've fallen in love with these ruffled lap quilts and planned to make one. Having just moved and my sewing machine still not put together, I knew it would be forever before I ever got to it. This one got such glowing reviews, I said "ok, why not"! So glad I ordered it, it's just lovely, well made, a good weight, and with all the colors in the ruffles, will blend in with all my other things vs. a patterned quilt. It's still warm in AL, but fall is just around the corner and I look forward to snuggling in it in the evenings in front of the tv.

  Our family owns many down blankets. We prefer down blankets over down comforters because of their lighter weight & easier washabilty. (This blanket is the Northern Lights brand (made for QVC). I purchased this as a wedding gift and the couple seemed pleased with it. The fabric was similar to cotton sateen and the color was a soft Lilac. We have other " Northern Lights" brand down blankets & are very pleased with them. Their washabality is excellant! I believe their tone-on-tone striped ones are even nicer than this particular model---although they don't come in the color Lavender---other wise; they are a better value for the dollars spent. However, this is a lovely blanket.

  This blanket is awesome! It is HUGE and very very soft! I use it everyday when I get chilly at work. It is very soft, plush to the touch and keeps me at just the right temperature. It is so affordable too. Such a great value that I am giving them as gifts this holiday season. I will be ordering more today!
