This pattern looks great in the online picture. Be aware that it is very flimsy cotton with chenille tufting that generates the honeycomb pattern. The whole thing is not much heavier than a sheet. I didn't even take it out of the package once I saw it. Definitely not worth the price. I am surprised as I am usually happy with things I order from Overstock. But this one is going back!

I have a king size bed with a new mattress (very high) and this fits nicely. It doesn't hit the floor but does cover the boxspring. It's very colorful and not too feminine. So hard to find a nice bedspread that isn't chenille - a king comforter won't fit in my washing machine. I'm very happy with this purchase.

I have been looking for a long time for a lightweight, but classy looking bedspread. All the bedspreads I could find were wild designs, heavy, or more of a quilt pattern. I also didn't want chenille. Bedspreads themselves are hard to find anymore! Everything is comfortors. We recently bought a kingsize adjustable bed with the foam matteresses (two twins make the king). It is very hard to put a dust ruffle on an adjustable bed because they won't stay in place raising & lowering the bed. The dust ruffle always looked whopper-jawed, and the comforter just looked messy. I love this bedspread! Its lightweight, but heavy enough to hang nicely. Since it is summer, it hasn't been too hot to use, w/just it and a sheet. I love the ease of just folding it over my pillows - no more shams and extra pillows to mess with!! I feel like I should order more of these just because the price is so great, and it was just what I wanted! Like I said - BEDSPREADS are really hard to find anymore! I don't think anyone wanting a lightweight spread will be disappointed in this one at all. I purchased the blue, and its very close to the color dipicted on the screen.

I had just about given up hope of finding what I wanted. I was tired of hassling with the bedskirt needed when using a comforter on the bed, and had just about given up hope of finding exactly what I wanted when I ran across the ad for this bedspread. The material is very soft and quite pretty. The color is perfect and sets off the entire room very nicely. I did not purchase the shams since I prefer the old-fashioned way of pulling the bedspread over the pillows when the bed is made, but I would highly recommend the French Tile bedspread to anyone looking for a non-chenille bedspread.

This bedspread is beautiful. It fits my king size bed perfectly! Goes all the way to the floor and is not skimpy at all! It's fluffy and a pretty blue. I've shopped all over for a chenille spread and can't find one in any of the big box or specialty stores. Overstock.com has a nice selection of these spreads in different patterns at a really nice price.

I know that the supposed "classy hotel look" is very popular -- with the coverlet pulled up flat under the pillows, and then all the pillows with and without shams and decorative throw pillows set on edge along the headboard. But I hate it. Hotels originated that look to (1) save money on the extra fabric needed for bedspreads that tuck under the pillows and then fold back over them, and (2) save the maids' time in making beds. Me, I've got the time to make my own bed, and I want my pillows covered so dust doesn't settle on them. But it's been impossible to find a real bedspread that isn't my grandmother's chenille. This one is perfect -- sophisticated design, soft enough, thick enough, and just the right color (sage, which is hard to find in the shade I like; this one is color-true to the picture).

I was excited to find a spread that would fit my King bed and looked somewhat decent. Although I thought the price was a bit high I was willing to go the extra $ to have a spread vs. a comforter. I was disappointed at the construction of the spread. The chenille looks like an old rug was sewn onto the fabric but that is not the worst of it. I have dark wood floors. This spread sheds chenille worse than my dog sheds hair. Its so bad that if I was really on top of it or anal I would have to vacuum every day maybe twice a day. I have washed it twice in hopes that the shedding would stop but no luck. I can not recommend purchasing this spread.

This is a beautiful and soft beadspread. I love chenille. Such a timeless and classy look. Beautiful quality. I ordered the taupe/linen and the color was definitely what I consider to be taupe.I have not washed mine so I cannot comment on washing durability. My only negative comment at all would be about the shams. I ordered separately. I received my sham order yesterday. I was not expecting it to be one sham. I was expecting it to be a set.Everyone please know this when you order. It was beautiful even without the shams but since I only had the one, I redordered today. I just think kind of expensive to pay $XX.XX per sham.

Had seen this similar product on other websites but was just out of my price range. I found this & just got in yesterday. The overhang is great which was one of the things I was looking for. I haven't washed it yet to say how pleased I am with it but out of the box I am beyond please with it!. It is light weight enough for summer use but we have a blanket underneath and we were perfectly warm last night and temperature was quite chilly last night.

The material is fairly thin, but they look great. I hope they will hold up over the years.
