The mattress guard fit perfectly. It is lightweight and you can't tell it's on the bed as it doesn't have a crunchy sound. It does not make the bed feel hot like other pads can.

This is my second Tuff Guard mattress protector. The other one remains on the bed at the other house. That bed is a king pillow top with a thick down cover over that, and the Tuff Guard fit great and stayed in place. Same for my bed here which is a queen pillow top. There are a couple of pets who visit me there from time to time, no "accidents" yet, but I trust the cover will protect my mattress.

Ordered two split queen Tuff Guard Waterproof Mattress Protectors for my adustable bed. They were a perfect fit, completely covering my memory foam mattresses. Would highly recommend.

I recently purchased the Tuff Guard Matress Protector and I love it. I have had a hard time getting a mattress pad that fits my king size bed. My Tuff Guard fits snugly to my 18 inch mattress and stays put. I washed it upon arrival and it came out beautiful. I would recommend this mattress pad to anyone who asks.

I bought this Tuff Guard for a twin bed, which is a 3 inch memory foam topper. I took it out from the plastic package and the first thing I saw was....this is kind of small, it's like half the size of this twin size memory foam topper but it does stretch to the size. I try to put it on, it's no good. Once I have the other side fitted in and then trying to finish stretching and cover it, the other end of the foam bed will tilt up and then the tuff guard will snap off from the bed. Bottom line, you need two people to fit this Tuff Guard on to a foam bed. As to the feel of this protector, the fabric has that texture of a towel that is dried after you washed it.

I was delighted when I put the Tuff Guard mattress protector on the bed. The large "tuck in feature" was perfect for my 18" mattress. It tucks under the mattress and stays in place. I highly recommend this product

I was a little worried that it would be plastic, noisy and hot. Not the case. It is pretty soft and you can't even tell it is on the bed. We just purchased a new memory foam mattress and thought it might be a little to hot with the tuff guard mattress protector not at all slept like a baby on it.

My son moved into an apt. this year for college and the bed provided is an XL Queen. I looked all over for a mattress pad in that size and the Tuff Guard 10-year Mattress Protector fit perfectly. Thank you, Overstock.com.

Very pleased with this mattress pad and I would definitely recommend it to my daughter or a friend. It looks beautiful on the bed, fits snugly and stays in place (although I do use sheet guards with it). It also washes exceptionally well. THANKS

Having got my down pillow top back from the dry cleanser less that a week ago ($60 to clean), I made up the bed with the Tuff Guard. My toddler wet the bed last night and I was furious (not at him) to find that it had soaked right through the 'guard' and had saturated the pillow top again. I will be returning for a refund and pay extra for one I know that works from Bed Bath and Beyond......once I pay to get the pillow top cleansed AGAIN!

I already have 4 of these covers for my pillows. Not only do they protect, but they are sooo soft. I have used the basic Tuff Guard mattress covers for YEARS. I couldn't survive without them. They have saved my mattress many, many times. Last week I spilled a mug of tea & cream two nights in a row. There was not a trace of it on my mattress -- in fact, I got the Tuff Guard to the washer in time that there was not a trace on it either! With spills -- not getting to the bathroom in time in the middle of the night as I age, and dogs that also sleep in our bed with us for many years -- Tuff Guard covers should come with any mattress you buy. I'm looking forward to these new ones with the soft finish. I purchased two as I always do. For any problem in the middle of the night, I always have that extra clean cover to throw right on the bed. I only hope Overstock continues to carry Tuff Guard products for years to come!

Almost everyone with memory foam on their bed will say it sleeps "hot". We bought the lower model Tuff Guard pad from O for our memory foam bed two years ago. Overall we have been very happy with it. It can handle spilled coffee, etc and it has been through the wash countless times and still looks new. However, I recently got two memory foam pillows that were driving me nuts. I would wake up with my head sweating no matter how cold the room. When I read about the Tuff Guard Plus, I decided to try two pillow cases and one extra mattress pad for our bedroom. It lays flat like our other one so it does not disturb the feelof the memory foam but it somehow insulates us from the heat. No more sweating for me. The polypropolene layer seems denser than the first model and there is more cotten velour feels thicker so perhaps that is the reason. . This is the nicest mattress pad I think I have ever slept on. Love the velour pillocases under my head too. The other pad is now upstairs on the innerspring bed and for us, it feels much better than the poofy polyester mattress pads. Both Tuff Guard models are great products, but I am getting Tuff Guard Plus pillow cases for all the pillows and eventually another Tuff Guard Plus mattress pad.

Nice soft mattress pad that fit well on my 3 year olds twin bed, but it is NOT waterproof. The first night she had a little accident and the urine soaked through the mattress pad and on to the brand new mattress. I even changed the bed right away. I now use a plastic mattress protector underneath the Tuff Guard mattress protector.

I was very happy with this item. I prefefr all otton bedding on my bed and this was all cotton. My stylde leans toward the modertn, avant guarde and this cover fit the bill. I don't like faux antique orf cutsey pattens and this was simple,, minimal, and elegant. I was very satisfied with the quality/price ratio as well.

I needed a cover for my new mattress. I wanted something that was hypo allergenic and needed to guard against bed bugs. This cover is excellent. It went on easily, has stretch on the borders and the fabric is cotton. Does not add any bulk and I am more confident that nothing will affect my new mattress. I recommend this product highly.

This is the second bed we have purchased a Tuff Guard 10 year Mattress Protector for. The first one is several years old at this point. They work great, (don't crackle, wash well and keep the mattress dry and clean). I am sure this one will hold up as well as the first.

I bought this because my dog was having stomach problems on my bed. Eecchh! I hate sleeping on synthetic fabrics so wasn't sure I would like it, but the protector is thin enough that I'm able to put a 100% cotton pad over it. The Tuff Guard is a little hard to get on the mattress with just 1 person, but not impossible. I think it's well worth the money, especially if you want to save your mattress!

The point of a mattress protector, for us, was simply to guard against spills and occasional bathroom accidents for our king size bed (little kids). We weren't looking for something comfortable, or attractive. It's just supposed to be invisible. And that's what it is. We don't notice it at all -- no crinkling, no noise. Very solid purchase.

This is my second Tuff-Guard mattress. The other one is still fine after many washings. They are truly waterproof and fit nicely on foam beds. I think they also do a good job helping to keep the heat down from memory foam. The mattress stores can sell you one for $$$ prices but this one is just as good and a great bargain.
