  • Great Mattress Pad - Great Price!

    My friends recommended getting a waterproof mattress pad (something I've never had) - so I went to a local store and bought a Serta one for approximately $40. Imagine my HORROR the first night we slept on it and found 1) it sounded like we were sleeping on a bag of potato chips and 2) both my husband and I sweated our butts off because of the plastic on the pad. It was HORRIBLE! I returned it the next day and verified with my friend that hers did not do that. I then went in search of a better quality one - but found them to be running anywhere between 80-100. Seemed a bit high, for a mattress pad, so I decided to search the web, and found this little wonder (thanks to other's reviews.) I bought a queen - it arrived in only a couple of days - and we LOVED it the first night. We have a tall mattress, so the extra deep pockets worked great. It fits perfectly - it does NOT sound like a bag of potato chips when you roll over - nor does it cause you to sweat. It also seems to stay in place with no problem. We have not washed it yet (so can't speak to the people who said the sides were thinning) - but we love it. So much so - that today I've logged on to get one for our King, as well. Great find!! Couldn't be happier!

  • Mattress pad

    I got this for my hospital bed as I was recovering from a total hip replacement. I spent eight weeks on this lad and it is good. Saved me much discomfort. It is large enough for the guest bed and lives there now. I like that it does not ride up off the mattress. I am very satisfied with this purchase.

I'm skeptical. My mattress is 12" and there is a good bit of extra tucked under, but I don't think it's enough to cover a 19" and have anything left to tuck under. I do highly recommend the pad; very satisfied with it. mercedestlh on Apr 25, 2013

I assume the word "Pima" implies the top material is 100 percent cotton?? The description does not say "cotton," and the description does not list what the top fabric is made of. I find that odd because the top material is specified in all the other Beautyrest mattress pad descriptions. I want to be sure the top fabric is 100 percent cotton before I purchase it.
