Ordered a blue but received beige, I decided to keep the blanket anyway. This thing is amazing; you get two electronic controls, one for each side! Settings go from L to 9 but you never need it higher than 3 or 4, it works so well. There is built in protection for shorts or disconnected wires. Very pleased!

Having a medical condition needing heat for legs at night, this blanket warms faster than any I have had. Controls set very easy and are solid state with no contact clicking. Blanket material, blue, is very well made and attractive. Highly recomend it

This blanket is nice, but it is a WARMING blanket. It does not get very hot like I was expecting but it does keep you warm.

I got this blanket based on the picture. While it looks like a somewhat plush blanket, it is NOT. It is very thin and kind of rough. It does work well at heating and I liked the auto turn off function. I just could not get used to the appearance of it! It is a thin ivory blanket with what looks like a rough gold pattern painted on it (NOT embossed!!!). The picture on the site DOES NOT represent the product, I can not stress that enough. If I could place another blanket on top I may have kept it but nothing can be placed on top of it. I would recommend for function but not appearance....blagh...it's going back. Thanks to Overstock for great customer service as always!

the blanket leaves a bunch of fuzz on sheets. kinda of cheap. not worth it

I have bought many electric blankets in my lifetime to find they only last one season. I have the beauty rest mattresses and when I saw the beauty rest electric blanket, I decided it had to be as geat as the mattresses. The blanket is high quality all the way to the controls. A Fabulous product. Thanks beauty rest!

My husband and I love it! We only sleep with it and a sheet now, and sleep comfortably. And with the dual controls his side is cooler than mine. The controls are really easy to use and read. A great buy.

The blanket is excellent. It has a wide variety of settings and heats up quickly. The material the blanket is made out of is nice also with the embossed texture on it. The wires are noticeable inside the blanket, but not enough to detract from the comfort. I would definitely recommend this blanket with the dual controllers and excellent speed heating up. We've had it a few weeks and love it!!

This is a nice blanket. I find I get quite warm with the setting on 7 (has 10 temperature settings.) Read the instructions. Do not put a blanket or quilt on top when in use as this will result in a flashing "E" (error mesage) on your control, meaning the blanket is getting too hot. It will reset after about 10 minutes. Great for the price, no tax and free shipping make it even better!

I bought 3 of these to make it through our chilly Wyoming winters. It feels great to climb into warm sheets, My kids use them on their beds and the only thing I can think of that would make them better is a timer to shut them off after a specified time. I have washed them lots and they have held up great.

I've owned this item for at least 3 years now and love it more each year. I actually use it under my fitted sheet to warm the bed before I get into it at night. It has duel controls, which is perfect amd I have it "sideways" so if its a really cold night I can keep the "bottom" half on by my feet and stay toasty warm. Can't feel the wires and it never gets too hot.

Been using this blanket for several years. Works great. Love the dual controls.

THIS WAS A SURPRISE WHEN I OPENED THE BLANKET. APPARENTLY, I PAID NO ATTENTION TO THE WORD "EMBOSSED" WHEN I ORDERED FOR MY DAUGHTER FOR CHRISTMAS. AS I OPENED THE PACKAGE TO WRAP, IT WAS SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL. USUALLY ELECTRIC BLANKETS ARE JUST PLAIN AND THIS ONE HAS LOVELY DETAILED EMBOSSING. MY DAUGHTER SAYS IT'S PERFECT AND KEEPS HER TOASTY WARM.

Blanket only heated at the head and the foot areas.Nothing in the middle. Had to return it for credit. Also fabric was thin in spots almost like this blanket was a second. The instructions tell you to have this blanket on top of all other bedding. Looks to me like all the heat goes up into the air. Never heard of such instructions. Will look elsewhere for a better blacket(at least one that works).

It is a treat to climb into bed at night under a nice warm blanket. It warms my toes immediately.

I have been using it for about a month now. We really like it. Is great, cause I like lots of heat and hubby doesn't. Nice not having to use all my blankets and washing all the time. I haven't washed this blanket yet, that might be the down side of it. Seems you have to measure it before wash and then block it again afterwards. Seems like a lot of work to me. But we do love the blanket.

I bought one for us and for my daughter. We are both happy with it. The controls take some getting used to, and would have preferred another color...but warm and value count too.

We now have and electric blanket for each bed in our home. I purchased the same kind each time because we were very satisfied with the quality of the blankets.
