These pillows are super nice and hold their shape almost too well! They don't allow me to "wad" them up to sit up in the bed and watch TV.(bad me) They are advertised as firm and they are firm. If you don't like a really firm pillow then look elsewhere. Overall I am pleased with my purchase.

I went from a standard to a king size pillow and from a memory foam to this gusseted pillow, so was a little concerned I would have some trouble adapting. But these pillows are VERY comfortable and very well made. Haven't missed my old "broken in" (broken down) pillow at all!

I am a side sleeper and require a firm pillow to sleep comfortabley. I was attracted to these pillows because the last set I bought tended to "deflate" after time and from the description I assumed that these pillows would hold their shape. So while it is true that they return to their original shape after a night of sleep, when you put your head on them they squish down to virtually a FLAT pillow. I do not find this pillow supportive at all, and am quite disappointed in this purchase. I have actually bought a replacement (Serta) that I find much more firm and supportive..

I purchased these pillows in February, I thought they were great, nice and full. We usually use two pillows and with these only one pillow was needed. Now in May, 3 months latter they are flat even with puffing they are less than half as fluffy as they were. I alway buy cheep pillow and expect this. Then I don't feel cheated when I throw them out in a couple of months. These pillows DO NOT LAST, NOT WORTH THE MONEY!!!

I have only had these pillows over a month but love them. The are firm and dont have a lot of give so it makes for a good night sleep. I am a side sleeper and they work well.

Pillows are firm as stated. They are very thick in height. The material does not hold in heat if you like a cold pillow.

After reading the different reviews I decided to buy these two pillows. So happy I did they are pillows you would expect to see at a five star resort. They are very firm and comfortable at the same time. I was really impressed by the fabric that they are in. It looks and feels like high quality pillows. I just ordered two more because I have a king size bed and got a coupon from Overstock towards my next purchase. If you want fancy looking/feeling pillows at a great price buy these ones. These pillows were my second purchase ever on Overstock and I'm glad I bought them!

Very comfortable pair of king size pillows. They keep their shape and do not collapse as soon as your head hits the pillow. I wasn't sure how firm they'd be and if they'd be too firm, but they are very comfortable and fit just right.

Thes are very nice pillows at the Overstock price. Yes they are firm but cuumpress enough to still be comfotable. Hold their shape well you only need one as it has all the support you need. With a thread count of 500 they should last a good bit longer than the brand X cheapie pillows. I bought covers for mine, Made by Beautyrest on pillows and Healthguard for the covers, and expect they should last a good bit longer. After all it is the comfort and quality you want, which thes have, as well as the affordability. Sol in pairs you will have all you need, I've gone with less expensive and more expensive and found these to be a happy and affordable medium. Get the covers and you are all set for years of good sleep and less trips to replace those old sad looking ones we all have after a year or two. Good buy.

I think these pillows are better for bigger people. My husband and I are both small and they were far too raised up for our necks. He's a back sleeper and I'm a side and stomach and it didn't work for either one of us. It IS firm, but more on the medium firm side. Do give it a try.
