This pillow arrived one day after I ordered it! When I removed it from the packaging it was soft yet firm. I tossed one of my old pillows and put this one in its case. When I laid on this pillow, there was a gentle sinking feeling, but I felt as if the pillow was cradling my head. I slept much better last night than in years.

I received my pillows today. Except for the flyer in the bag, I would never know that they're supposed to be Beautyrest. No tags or stitching. I saw this mentioned in some other reviews, but not until after I placed my order. They're puffy and I hope they stay that way. I'm disappointed that they're not full from end to end. I 'm hoping for the best since I can't return them since they've been opened; althought the plastic bag they came in wasn't sealed anyway.

it's definetely a thick pillow so if you don't like thick don't get it. He's slept on it for several nights and its getting better took a little getting use to because it is so thick and doesn't sink in like some pillows great for watching tv with but sleeping on your back it's a little too high, not a stomach sleeper pillow.

What can you say after perfect? That is what this pillow is! It gives me just thre right heighth for sleeping on my side. If I were to have a complaint it would be that I am having problems finding pillow cases wide enough to fit the pillow. That is minor compared to the comfort it gives me.

I'm a side sleeper and had tried all sorts of supposedly firm and extra firm pillows; but, they never lasted the way I wanted. I finally purchased a couple of the full size pillows and was overwhelmed with how well they held their shape, not to mention the fact they are excellent for side sleepers. I only had those a couple of years, then purchased a queen bed this summer; so, of course, I had to buy a couple of the queen size pillows ... and, yes, they are just as great as the full size. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase these, again, if I ever wear out the ones I have.

I ordered this pillow having owned and and liked the firmness of this pillow several years ago. The pillow that arrived today was soft and seemed to have not coils but one squeaky spring in the middle. Either the suppier has gone down hill or it is not a actually a Beauty Rest pillow as there are no labels that indicate it is and no stitching on the pillow. So for those looking for a firm pillow this is not it.

This pillow is VERY firm. Almost to the point of being too firm. You definitely won't be leaving any dents from your head in this pillow. Now this might just be this way because my other pillow was flat as a pancake but I am hoping that with use over time that I don't wake up in the morning with my head on the corner of the pillow because otherwise it is too hard on my neck. Sure makes the bed look nice when the bed is made.

Received two new king pillows today, one was leaking its stuffing and had much piling. The other was more stuffed but still not very firm. These were two of the same pillow but one had much more stuffing than the other. The coils are noticeable and not very supportive, they claim these are Beautyrest but that name is nowhere on the pillows only on a photo-copied piece of paper in the bag.

Nice shape soft and fluffy ,yet firm. Great for side sleeping. I'm forcing my husband to use this pillow because of his sleep apnea...he loves it , too. Keeps its shape and looks good on the freshly made bed...does not look saggy and misshapen.

It's too tall for me, but it might be great for a very tall/big person. However, I'm keeping it because it's a great, supportive reading-in-bed pillow. Can't feel the coils.

Bought these pillows because I was looking for a pillow with support and durability. Having used just one of the pillows I bought, I noticed that the pillow does not hold its firmness or form. I am a side sleeper and notice a permanent indentation at the bottom of the pillow (where my shoulder hits it). Tried fluffing it and it didn't regain its shape It's an okay/good pillow, but will be trying a pillow designed specifically for side sleepers next time.

I love this pillow! It is firm but not hard and has very good support for head and shoulders. I am a side-sleeper so this is the one for me. I'm the envy of my family members.

I have just started to use these pillows, but I already love them! I have always said that I would love pillows that are cinder blocks wrapped in soft stuff, and these come close! Although there is no name brand attached to the pillows, they are everything that was promised. There is a core of firmness that does not flatten out, no matter which part of your body you are trying to support. And, the core is wrapped in very soft fluffy material so that there are no edges that you can feel. All in all, these have given me some of the best nights of sleep that I can remember. I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone trying to find those elusive "extra-firm" pillows that just never are.

I bought 2 of these Beautyrest Croscill 230 Thread Count Pocketed Coil Pillows for my partner who has been looking for the perfect firm pillow for years. We have tried many different brands of "firm" and "extra firm" pillows which would only seem to last for a couple of weeks before loosing their firmness. Not the case with these pillows! They are AWESOME! He sleeps better, longer, and more comfortable than ever before. We found these at a major department store, and even during their bedding sale, Overstock.com's price was less than half of their sale price! We are so happy with these pillows! This keep's his neck and spine aligned better than ever before which allows him to sleep longer and better because he is not waking up every 30 min's to adjust/reposition his pillow. Seriously, these are AWESOME pillows! If you like firm, comfortable, support that bounces back night after night, these are exactly what you need.

I got this product earlier in the week. I was pleasantly suprised by the construction of the pillow. This pillow isn't too firm and this pillow isn't too soft. It is very well constructed and I am not worried about it getting flat like most pillows do. I'm not sure about the other comments but I CAN NOT feel the coils whatsoever. I mean I'm sure if you really tried you could feel them but I am heavy set and I can not feel them at all. I am going to be ordering one more king size pillow and two standards. I'm in love! My old pillows are going into the attic!
