The only thing that I don't like about it's, it leave cotton puff all over your skin after you used it.

Looks substantial in our guest bathroom and coordinates well with the white fixtures: old fashioned pedestal sink, octagonal floor tiles, and subway bath tiles. Best price available too!

I love the towels - I've just moved and after shopping for new towels I loved the quality and price of these towels - The bath towels are a nice big size and the washcloths are very soft.

Very soft - we enjoy these towels. I was a little dissapointed though because I was thinking I was ordering a set of two bath towels, not a single towel set: one small, one hand and one bath towel.

Having read a lot of the reviews and going back and forth between overstock and other sites, I decided to buy these towels- with a little trepidation. Reading about the towels falling apart in a couple reviews made me cautious to say the least. So, I pulled the on the purple towels (alright, I have a problem with saying or typing the word "plum"), anyway, I purchased a set and out of the box, they are quite nice. Pros: Nice heft Great color- very rich looking Feel great Cons: Thankfully none. I washed them and they look exactly the same- no hanging threads or anything like that. I will note that they are not as soft as they were as all of that softener stuff is washed out of the towel and I can see and feel the them for what they are, which is a great buy. When you are reading some of the reviews, always read between the lines and research!..."due diligence" will help you make the right decisions regarding any internet purchase. PS Purchased another set last night after washing and testing these towels out in the washer/dryer, etc., received the wife's stamp of approval. So, they are working for us and I did a good job picking out towels! Hooray for guys! We too can get this domestic stuff done right! -a dude from Hoboken

Nice towels that fluff up well after first washing. But after only one washing one of the towels is already fraying. Wish they had a bath sheet instead of one of the two bath towels. That's what I consider a 6 towel set.

The package comes with two of the bath mats which is perfect since white can stain easily. They hold up to washing very well too.

This was a good buy. I have used it for 1month and have been moving it daily as we still have contractors in. I was worried that the movement would inhibit the integrity of the tension spring. No, it is very sturdy and strong!

I bought this robe for my wife after reading positive reviews. She wanted to buy a luxary spa robe after a recent hotel stay but I couldn't bear the idea of buying one with a hotel logo or double the cost of this robe. Other reviews said that the robes ran a bit large, and that is not inaccurate. But I think my wife is a M/L rather than a L/XL, so a few more sizing options would have been nice. But the robe itself is very nice and she has gotten comfortable with the slightly larger size. It's not as soft as the hotel robes, but a solid product at half the price of the hotel types.

You've heard about bath towels and you have heard about beach towels; what's really the difference between the two? Is it that important to buy one or the other? Here you'll find out some of the common differences between the two types of towels, including their size, appearance, price and thickness.
Bath towels are prime locations for germs. Towels pick up germs from contact with wet skin and breed more germs as they hang in a warm, humid bathroom. Fortunately, careful laundering of your bath towels can reduce the germ count. Knowing how to sanitize bath towels effectively reduces the spread of illness in your home and prevents musty odors on towels. The process is simple, and all you need in addition to your regular laundry essentials are a few extras. This article will help you learn how to sanitize bath towels.
Properly installing a towel bar can ensure that these essential bath fixtures doesn't damage your wall. A towel bar may be used to display decorator towels to complete the room's decor or hold wet bath towels after bathing or showering. A towel bar might also be subjected to serving as a hanging spot for clothing. The weight of wet towels combined with the action of pulling towels off the bar puts additional pressure on the towel bar. Improper installation of a towel bar can result in the bar separating from the wall and damaging the wall's surface. Follow these simple steps to be sure your towel bar is properly installed.
Whether you want a place to store books or simply display collectibles, bookshelves are the perfect solution. A bookshelf is a versatile type of furniture that goes with any room or decorating style. Aside from using them for books, use the space for storage by placing baskets for magazines, games, or videos in the living room. Place bookshelves in the bathroom to store extra towels and bath items. Take this list of bookshelf essentials into account before you purchase a set of shelves.

Wood furniture evokes a sense of tradition, harkening back to the days when household goods were not only handmade but often also self-produced. Wood furniture comes in a variety of wood types and finishes to suit any home decor. Of the many woods used, however, there are preferences for certain types of furniture. This glossary will help you buy wood furniture by sorting out which kinds of wood are best for a particular type of furniture.

It's not unusual for bookshelves to incorporate multiple materials for different features. If you haven't decided on wood, wood products, metal or glass bookshelves, look at their relative strengths and weaknesses. Look below to learn the best bookshelf materials. Wood: "Solid wood" is a common term for furniture made from lumber planks. Beware of making assumptions based on labels like "hardwood" and "softwood." Hardwoods are derived from deciduous trees and softwoods from coniferous trees; the terms don't connote their relative strengths. Balsa is a hardwood even though it is very soft, just as Douglas fir is a softwood even though it is very hard. They all make excellent, classic stock material for bookcases. Generally, harder woods are the heavier and more resistant to scratches. Still, softer woods, if treated correctly, will keep just as well as harder woods. Plywood: Made by stacking thin sheets -- "plies" -- of lumber and gluing them under pressure, plywood features grains that alternate direction for strength. Several grades are available, of differing cost. Top and bottom plies can be high-quality woods to create the appearance of fine woods, but edge veneer or molding is needed to complete the illusion. Particleboard: Wood chips glued together carry a much lower price tag than solid wood, and particleboard is denser and more uniform. It's a great choice when cost is the primary consideration. Bookshelves crafted from veneered composite boards can look and feel as good as real wood. MDF: Wood fibers, tiny chips and sawdust collected and glued into sheets form medium-density fiberboard (MDF). Low-cost MDF makes an excellent base for veneers; plus, its strength is consistent and it shapes well. Metal: There's a reason most library bookshelves are made from metal: Metal bookcases are resistant to moisture and fungus, their low-friction shelves are easier on books' bindings and metal's strength-to-weight ratio can't be beat. Their cost usually comes in below any other material. Glass: Glass bookshelves weigh more than other types, but if you plan on assembling your bookshelves only once, the style points can be well worth it. Tempered glass shelves (in wood or metal uprights, called "standards") give your home an unbeatable contemporary feel, and glass bookcases' smooth, transparent surfaces add brilliant levity to a decorating piece that might otherwise be notably opaque and heavy. Selecting kitchen flooring is a personal choice and one that depends in large part on the dynamics of your kitchen and the size of your budget. Select kitchen flooring that will complement the decor of your kitchen and stand up to the spills, scuffs and scratches of everyday life.

Before you can use your irons effectively, you need to understand what they are. In golf there are two types of clubs: woods and irons. The heads on woods used to be made of wood and the heads on irons used to be made of iron; both types of clubs can be made of metal these days, and steel has replaced iron as the most common material. Now that you know what irons are, read on for tips on how to use them on the course.
When it comes to choosing the right futon mattress for your futon, it can be a tough decision. Futons are very versatile pieces of furniture. These couches that convert into beds can be made out of everything from expensive solid hardwood to inexpensive metal. The choices for a futon mattress are as diverse as for the frames. Some futon mattresses are simply filled with pieces of cotton and wool. Others are one solid piece of foam. Still other futon mattresses contain coils just as bed mattresses do. If you're confused about finding the right one, take a look below to learn how to choose a futon mattress.
After deciding on the purpose and room for your new cabinet, it's time to think about material. As with all furniture, you will want to select a cabinet material depending on what you plan to use your cabinet for, as well as your personal taste. Take a look below to learn about the best materials for cabinets. Wood: The majority of cabinets produced are created with hard wood. Wood cabinets can be found in both traditional and contemporary designs. If you are hoping for durability in addition to design, no cabinet looks better and lasts longer than one manufactured using a solid wood. Cherry cabinets offer a sense of classic luxury while holding up to years of use. Oak cabinets conjure up the feel of subtle country beauty, and maple cabinets can look bright, modern and chic. Metal: Metal cabinets are terrific for those looking for a modern touch in their homes; most metal cabinets have a very forward-looking aesthetic, so they are perfect for a contemporary home. Metal cabinets are also great for home offices. Obviously, metal offers great durability, but it is vulnerable to dings and dents. Keep in mind that most metal cabinets have sharp corners, making them slightly less suitable for homes with kids running around. Glass: If you have something you feel like showing off, nothing is better for display purposes than a glass cabinet. These cabinets are certainly more fragile than those made from other materials, but they offer something other cabinets can't: transparency. Many glass cabinets are manufactured with built-in lighting systems to exhibit whatever you choose to place in them. Because of their show-off quality, glass cabinets are perfect for places you expect guests, such as the dining room and living room. Particle board: If you are shopping for a cabinet on a tight budget, looking into particle board cabinets is worthwhile. Particle board is a relatively new material produced by pressing wood particles together, which is then bound with synthetic resin. Furniture created with particle board is almost always the least expensive option and also the lightest, but you will sacrifice some durability. If you plan to move often, a particle board cabinet could be an ideal option. View All Furniture Back to Guides Directory View All Furniture

Carpeted floors usually provide too much resistance for office chairs with rollers to work well. In addition, rolling a chair over carpet will wear down the carpet fibers over time. Mats designed for these areas are a practical solution to both issues. Mats can also protect harder, uncarpeted floors -- such as vinyl or wood, from wear caused by chair rollers. There are several styles and colors of these mats. When choosing a mat to use under your rolling office chair, it's not always best to choose the first one you see -- some are more suitable for low-pile carpets or wood floors, and some are perfect for use on heavy, thick carpeting.
