Great fabric, great color (papaya) and outstanding wash and wear. Love these towels. I did think I was getting 6 bath towels by the way it is advertised but the set is really nice.

The Papaya color was perfect for my bathroom! A little deeper color than pictured but it worked.

WOW..I DO NOT KNOW WHAT HAPPENED. I ORDERED TWO SETS. ONE IN PAPAYA AND ONE IN YELLOW. YELLOW ARE GREAT BUT PAPAYA LOOKED RAGGED AND OLD AFTER ONE WASHING.

I love these towels - papaya is a great color - more like terracotta- but picture is accurate. I will order more soon.

Deep plush towels with thick pile and terrific absorbency. Expect these to last a long time, and color (papaya) is beautiful.

I ordered these towels in papaya. The color is just what I expected and the towels are very plush, but after two washings they started to fray and run, and the ends shrunk , which caused them to pucker.

The towels are a very pretty color (papaya). They wash well and the color does not fade. They are fluffy and big. They just don't feel absorbent to me. I don't feel dry when I am done using them. I am disappointed in them.

We haven't had these long but they seem very durable and well made. My wife ordered papaya and the towels look more like that than the image:) We're always impressed with Overstock's price and shipping.

The towels were a gift to my daughter and her family for Christmas. They had just remodeled their bath and needed new colors. The papaya and sunflower filled the bill both in color and quality. These two colors were very hard to find when I looked at other stores. Also, the nice thicker and larger sized towels I did find were more than I wanted to pay...then I remembered Overstock...wow....found what I wanted at a really great price....thanks...I buy my bed linens from here and have always been happy with my purchases. You can't go wrong with this set of towels.....thick, fluffy, nice large sizes, and great color selections...

Plush, soft, absorbent -- everything a good quality towel should be. I went out on a limb & got the Papaya color -- absolutely stunning & vibrant. I notice slight fading as I wash them, but you can't have everything!

I love these towels! I've had them for a few months now and they're fabulous. They wash great; the color and texture are just as nice as they were when I bought them. (I have them in papaya.) I plan on buying a set in another color when I move in the fall.

These are nice towels, especially the size...! Note: I bought the papaya/red color... They are not as bright as the monitor makes them seem... But they are very nice... They seem to be just a tad darker.. I would buy more of these, and also buy them for friends/family as gifts. Love the size..!!

Received these towels in an orangish color (I think it was papaya?). Held up well through the initial washing and we have been using them for about 4 weeks now. Hem lines and color seem to be holding up well. I would definitely recommend these.

I thought the towels were okay. The color was beautiful (papaya). However, the stitching around the towels was not sown properly. There seem to be too much space on some areas between the edges and the towel itself. Seems like an apprentice put them together or at least someone who was in a rush...otherwise the towels look fine.

I am very disappointed with these towels. After only 3 washes, half of the towels have become unsewn along the side edges and unraveled beyond repair. I examined the others and they too threaten similar fates. I love the color (Papaya) and lush and absorbent texture, but I am very disappointed that the weak thread has broken so soon and the towel edges are ragged and ugly.

I was a bit disappointed when these towels arrived. I LOVE Calcot towels- my husband grows cotton for Calcot and the towels have always been exceptional, especially the Pima cotton towels. But this set was just average. The Papaya color was more of a bold, bright orange when I was expecting a deeper spicy orange color. The texture is more velvety than I prefer for a towel. They just aren't as good as other Calcot towels I have purchased. I do want to support the US cotton grower, and Calcot, but I cannot give this set a great recommendation.

I PURCHASED THE SET IN PAPAYA. THEY WERE ALL WASHED TOGETHER. I CONTINUE TO WASH THEM TOGETHER,SO IF THEY FADE OR BLEED IT WILL NOT GET ON ANY OTHER TOWELS. THAT SAID, I TRULY FEEL THEY ARE OF FIRST CLASS QUALITY, DRYING ABILITY, AND I HAVE NOT FOUND THE 'PULLING' OR 'PILLING' FOUND ON OTHER TOWELS. I REALLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE TO ANYONE WHO IS INTERESTED IN QUALITY TOWELS. THEY ARE FINE FOR MY NEEDS. I DO NOT KNOW WHAT 'OTHER'S' EXPECT, BUT I THINK I AM A FABRIC 'SNOB'. I PLAN TO ORDER A SET IN 'COFFEE BEAN' VERY SOON. THANK YOU OVERSTOCK.COM.

I rate these towels as mediocre because they really are on the thin side and not very absorbent-- but they aren't the worst towels I've used. I think that maybe these have a bigger loop than I prefer. I've noticed over several washings (I've had these about a year now), that they seem a bit thinner. To me, the quality is on par with buying a towel set from one of the cheaper department stores at your local mall. The towels feel kind of slippery (I know, sounds weird-- but the best way to describe it) when using and your skin doesn't feel truly dry after using them. The color of the papaya set I bought is really nice though and true to the color shown on the website. I wanted to buy something using American cotton/made in USA to support my country of origin but am just disappointed in these towels. My suggestion, spend a little more money and get the La Grande towels if you like thick, absorbent towels that stand up over time.
