These are nice heavy cotton bath mat, which you can wash and dry repeatedly. This is the reason I bought them as the rubber backed kind does not wash well in washer. They stay put on bath room tile floors. I got the teal color, the color is lovely. But after 1 week, there are a couple of while spots on the mat. I suspect it might be caused by my kids dropping tooth paste on it. Nonetheless, this should not have happened if the dye was of good quality. It has never happened to any of my towels which I am sure stands up to toothpaste, hand soaps, etc. So, watch out for that. You would have no such color problem if you get the white color I assume.

These towels and very soft and of good quality. However, they are quite thin so not the best to my liking for a bath towel. I prefer something between thin and fluffy. I have laundered a couple time with very good results. I think I will use these as my "display towels" . They are absorbent as the description describes.

These towels are nice quality and exactly the color I wanted. I don't like real big bath towels and these are just the right size. I would highly recommend them.

A bath sheet is much larger than these towels, which are labeled "turkish towels." I didn't return them because they are heavy and seem a bit larger than a standard towel. Would not qualify as a bath sheet.

I didn't expect to have a Spa Towel with heavy pile; Expected to have a much smoother finish and this is just not it. It does not have the hanging loop typical of Spa Towels either. The towel is a normal heavy pile bath towel of which I have plenty and would never have bought white. So these were for me a huge disappointment.

Bought these towels after deciding to switch to all white linens. They're great. On the heavy side, which I personally LOVE, and soft and dense. Very very absorbent as well. A couple of the hand towels didn't hold up so well after being washed a few times (the lining seems to be twisted?) but even then, ti's only on one hem so I can easily hide it on the back side of the rack. These are nicer than the towels I'd used in other 4 and 5 star hotels (I'm a hotel snob) and I've been pleasantly surprised. They do shed A TON of lint the first couple washings (what towel doesnt?? let's get real here, people) but they're so soft and fluffy that I can't complain. We bought 6 sets and have been incredibly pleased with our purchase.

The quality of the towels appears to be good but I am returning the towels because I don't need the bath sheet. It is enormous. I think it is much larger than a beach towel. It is ideal for someone who wants or needs a gigantic towel.

This rug is thinner than my previous one, so it doesn't feel as cushiony when you step on it, and the stripes appear almost invisible in real life, as opposed to the picture on screen, so it's almost a solid, creamy white, instead of a grayish, chalk-stripey white. I kept it only because the size and color I needed is hard to find, and it's an okay replacement.

I bought 3 sets of these towels for my master and guest baths. I bought the taupe, burgundy and ivory. The colors are not 100% what I expected - the taupe is a more "beige" taupe, the ivory is a more "peachy" ivory and the burgundy is what I expected - although the colors were slightly skewed from my expectations, they were not different enough for me to return them. When I opened the package, they seemed thinner than I was hoping, but like many other reviews, once I washed them they fluffed up. They are soft, absorbent but solid towels - exactly what I was looking for. I recommend these towels - a great value for the price. Yet another positive Overstock experience!

I am a third generation born and raised Palm Beacher. Growing up in Lake Worth and Palm Beach, Florida; I am accustomed to very fine things. And at the top of fine things are linens. I sleep on Brielle Bamboo Rayon sheets from the O as do my guest rooms. It was time for a change from the standard white towel sets that I have. They were given as gifts and I do love a classic white towel but I wanted something different for my guest bedroom and guest bath. I had my adult son in mind as he lives in Japan 15 years. In my guest room I have Japanese Shoji screens actually to hide items that I use often and need to grab quickly. So the Vicki Payne Chippendale towel set seemed to be right up my alley since the geometric design tied in with the whole Asian theme. I ordered the taupe and chocolate. I have taupe carpet, walls and tongue and groove ceiling. These towels are amazing! Beautiful and not thick like many high end towels do. They coordinate with more things than you can imagine including another room with Lenox linens. I took a shower and used my first Vicki Payne towel. Wicked moisture beautifully and again, did not take up so much space by not being overly plush. Trifold and hung to dry. Dried quickly which is a plus for Florida living. Love them so much, came back for another set for my master bedroom. I am now a Vicki Payne convert!

These are truly, truly spa quality in feel and size!! I have the blue, pink in the 40 x 80 and the white in 35 x 70. I also love the size of the smaller ones, too and in fact an ordering more of that size now. But having four of these HUGE bath sheets is perfect. NOTE: Wash before using or you will have little bits of towel on you and washing them really helps the absorption. I wash them in cold only, hang and then lightly fluff in dryer and they stay wonderful that way.

This is very heavy. 2 corners are rounded and 2 are squared. It has the same appearance as white bathroom tile. I line my waste basket with plastic bags stores give you (I know - I should ALWAYS bring a reusable bag, but I accumulate plenty of plastic), and I like the fact that on trash day, the waste basket doesn't rise up off the floor as I remove the bag . Put it where you won't stub your toe and admire the way it looks in your bathroom.

These mats are a good size and will not slip around on your bathroom floor. However, I was kind of disappointed by the texture. As another reviewer has mentioned, the thin border of the mat is done differently than the inside. The border is much softer so it would have been better if the whole mat was done this way. However, they do look nice and are a good deal for the money.

Out of all the bedding made, quilts may be the most diverse. Quilts are produced in all kinds of colors, patterns, sizes, styles and types. If you're looking for a quilt but don't know where to start, take a look at the popular types of quilts below to learn more about this beautiful kind of bedding. Amish quilts: These beautiful quilts reflect the Amish way of living and feature solid colors, deep hues, geometric patterns and very little embellishment. Amish quilts contain the highest quality of construction and stitching, and, sometimes, the wonderful stitch patterns (scrolls, feathers) contrast with the simple backgrounds of their quilts. Applique quilts: These quilts use a French needlework technique where fabric pieces are sewn onto another piece of material to create a design. Applique is used extensively in the quilting process and is not to be confused with patchwork. Patchwork pieces are joined together; applique is sewn on top of the whole piece. Baltimore album quilts: Baltimore album quilts came from Maryland in the early 1800s. Each block in the design of these quilts is appliqued differently, often in ornate floral patterns. Bangladeshi quilts: These quilts are made with layers of Saree cloth. Saree cloth is silk cloth used by women of India to wrap and fold around the body as a garment. The cloth is usually 40 to 60 inches wide by 6 yards long. These quilts are used as bedding or as decorative pieces. Bargello quilts: Bargello quilts are created with offset squares in an up-and-down geometric "V" pattern. The small squares of different fabrics and the colorful designs make these quilts true works of art. Hawaiian quilts: Hawaiian quilts are not pieced, and they usually showcase a large, symmetrical applique in the center of the quilt. Most often the background is white or another solid color. Patchwork quilts: Patchwork quilts are constructed of many small pieces of fabric which are put together in an improvised or irregular pattern. This is a well-known quilt style, and examples of historical patchwork quilts are found in many museums. Ralli quilts: Ralli quilts, sometimes known as rilli quilts, are traditional quilts made in India or Pakistan. There is an abundance of embroidery as well as applique on the patchwork patterns. Star quilts: Star quilts are created with a large star shape, or several star shapes, dominating the pattern. Wedding ring quilts: Wedding ring quilts are crafted in a design of interlocking rings. This pattern goes far back in history: in the fourth century it was used to decorate drinking cups in Rome. Wedding ring quilts are highly popular and make wonderful wedding gifts. If you're looking for a gift to please an engaged couple, you can't go wrong with a wedding quilt. Bedding always makes a significant gift for the bride and groom, and a quilt with coordinating Egyptian cotton sheets can be even better. View All Quilts Back to Guides Directory View All Quilts
