I ordered these towels because of all the great reviews - and after the first careful wash they were already falling apart. The hand towels were the worst. Seams came undone and there were huge strings hanging off the towels. It may have been the color- I got a gold towel set and also an ivory bath sheet set. The ivory bath sheets seem to be doing great, but this gold towel set is garbage.

Very pleased with the thickness and quality of this towel set. Nice large bath size, hand towel size good too. Ordered the set in gold color and looks super in my bath with brown, coral, oranges, and gold tones.

I LOVE these bath mats SO MUCH that this the 3rd set I'm ordering!! This time around, I ordered Sage; I previously ordered Light Blue and Gold. They are soft, absorbent, and true to color. Please believe me, they are so much better than the "traditional" bath rugs with the rubber backing in that they wash up very well (are colorfast too) and are more hygienic in that they are easier to keep clean and fresh. Speaking of washing, for those who think these mats are too thin, I agree with another reviewer that stated they laundered them first; I tried this and it does indeed make them thicker, softer, fluffier, etc. once you take them out of the dryer. Because these mats are made of cotton, like a bath towel, they pretty much stay in place and there's little chance for them to slip and slide around very easily. Instead, your feet will meet nothing but soft, absorbent comfort after your bath or shower. These bath mats are of excellent quality, don't pass them up!!

I had remodeled a bathroom and with the changes, there was no room to put a traditional towel bar. I did not want to use hooks to hang the towels as it looks so messy to me. Reluctantly, I bought this, hoping it would work. It did and I am extremely pleased with it. It has the weight needed to hold three heavy, large bath towels, without toppling over. It looks great, too.

The fact that you get two is about the only good thing I can say about them. I expected better for the price! They are a little on the small side and they look more like bath towels than bath mats. My towels are actually thicker than the mats. They are a beautiful shade of gold that doesn't bleed in the washer and they dry without wrinkles.

I bought these for use with the bath sheets of the same style. The hand towels are nice and large. I like the texture/striping because for me it makes it less boring that plain white ones. They are less absorbant than more traditional towels but are a nice quality and so far have held up through several washes.

I was a bit hesitant about purchasing these given the customer review that noted they seemed thin. I wasn't sure what to expect. But they turned out wonderfully. These are huge and quite thick as well as absorbent. I ordered the gold and ivory colors (to match my new bathroom) and they are exactly as pictured and described. The gold is not gaudy nor is it yellow or beige. It is a muted, elegant gold.I have washed them once, and the towels came out of the dryer fluffy and lovely. I am so delighted with them that I have ordered several eight-piece sets (two bath towels, two hand towels, two face cloths, and two bath mats). I wish the company made or Overstock made available non-slip bath rugs in these same colors and quality in various sizes. I can recommend these towels..

Very pretty but the bottom makes it very unstable. In order to use it, my husband had to create a wooden 'bowl' for it to sit in and allow you to pull the TP without the stand falling over. Buy it if you're handy, skip it if you're not.

These towels are 49" long. They are a little bigger than a bath towel. The gold color is very true to what is seen on the internet ad. Although the banding has some pretty threads, the towels are not as thick as I think they should be. We purchased other Egyptian cotton towel sets online and they are thick and luxurious. These are just average. Be sure to use a dryer sheet to get them soft and fluffy. I could have purchased similar towels locally for about 2/3 the cost.

We have an unusual guest bath with walls that appear to shift in colour from gold-bronze-copper depending on how the light shifts [ Ralph Lauren Ballroom Gold paint]. These guest towels are the perfect accompaniment for this room. They are luxurious in texture and appearance, and because of the pattern of the border juxtaposed against the smooth velour like finish to the towels , they look fabulous in the room. The larger towel with out a border is lovely as well.

These are the softest, thickest, most plush towels I have ever owned! I purchased both the black and gold colors (both of which I found to run true to the colors shown in the web photograph). I washed the towels only one time prior to use. There was some lint that came off the towels, but not much more than the towels I have been using for years. After reading some of the other reviews I was expecting an inch or more of lint. That was definitely NOT the case. After several used I find the towels to be soft, thick, and absorbant. I purchased the black towels and used them prior to purchasing the gold ones, so I would obviously purchase the towels again, as I already did! In my opinion you can't go wrong with these bath sheets. Even though I carry extra weight around the mid-section I can quite easily wrap these around my body with PLENTY of overlap. Thanks again Overstock!

Bronze towel bar is well crafted, easy to assemble and very durable. I was surprised how heavy it was. The color is true to bronze. A little pricey but I looked around and found this was by far more easy on the eye and quite posh for any bathroom large or small. This is a free standing towel bar w/ nice height just perfect for our small guest bathroom, very chic holds guest finger towels to large bath towels. I like it wrks. for my family and great decoration. We redid bathroom in oil rubbed bronze towel bar, tissue holder, toilet paper stand (free standing) all themed bronzed finish more pricey but grew weary of silver or gold bathroom accesories. If you purchase you won't regret it.

I am very disappointed with these towels. I ordered the moss color which matched perfectly with the slate in my bathroom. However, after washing the towels two or three times there are now yellow/gold spots sporadically on the bath towel. I know you may be thinking bleach, but I absolutely did not use any sort of bleach. I just moved into a new home and I haven't even used bleach in the washer yet. Makes me wish I would have paid more for better quality.

I washed these towels once and started using them. Within a few days golden spots appeared on the bath towel. I have had this happen with another set of towels which weren't 100% cotton and have been told that the dye doesn't hold. I liked the color (kiwi) and thought that they were super absorbent. But, if they continue down this path, they will end up with gold/yellow spots all over them. Totally bummed as they were for a bathroom remodel.

These towels are really soft, very absorbent and great sized. As a whole, these towels are bigger than traditional bath towels. We bought the set in Coastal Blue which is a beautiful and vibrant aqua blue. We've washed and dried these towels about 3 times now since purchasing and they seem to be holding up well. They aren't excessive lint collectors and are holding their shape. I purchased these for our daughter who just left for college. I knew space was limited in dorms and after reading the reviews as well as product description I felt purchasing her a thinner towel with high absorbency was the way to go. Less bulk for her to store and less time to spend in the laundry room! These towels definitely fit the bill and therefore in my opinion they were worth the extra cost. As usual, Overstock.com was quick to ship and they arrived in excellent condition.

Had a hard time finding a curtain I like that's not too feminine or, dated, over-stated. Even though the green in the curtain is kinda a slight muted lime green and the black in the curtain is black, the pattern is classic and dainty yet masculine enough to go really really well with my sage green, dark gray, and tan Columbia (r) brand bath towels, and jute rug w/ gold and green border. I bought a curved shower rod to show the curtain off, and feel like I'm in a spa.

I got these in gold and the color is exactly what I expected - a light gold. Nice and thick but not too thick.

The item appeared a true gold in the add and was described as gold. It is really Aran gold color. It will not work with my decor. I did not like the quality of the product.

The curtain is a bit of a Rosey color. I thought it would be more gold
