Granted the decorated border is very nice, but overall the towels are very average and quite thin. Best for a guest bath that only gets used a few times per year. Wouldn't buy again.

I ordered the chocolate brown color. I would, without a doubt, order again, but would go for the "lighter" colors next time. These towels produced a lot of lint and for whatever reason, I chose to wash towels with a few other clothing items and the brown lint is all over my other clothes. After a few washes, the amount of lint does die down. They do nice job drying and the size is perfect for adult.

I chose the 'white' set because I was afraid the pink ones would not be the right color pink. It turns out the pink trim and fairy are more rose/red not pink, but the color is fine for my bathroom. I was also worried that the 'kid's' towels would be made for children and not adults but I didn't have to worry. These towels are just as big and thick as my 'adult' towels. I also liked that there were no wash cloths in the set, I didn't want to pay for something I wouldn't use. I am very pleased with the purchase.

The border on the towels was a pasley print and it had an animal print, as well. The combination was not really my taste and did not go well with my decor. The towels were very plush and I liked them. Since the border did not match, I gave them to a friend for her powder room. She was pleased, but I am still looking.

No matter what I did, I could not get the hand towel or the wash cloth to lay or hang flat ..... Disappointed that the bath towel did not have the border - although if I had looked closer at the picture I would have seen this....

I ordered a set of these towels in gray for my guest bath, and was surprised to find that the bath towel was fairly small, more fitting for a childs use than an adult! It is a lovely soft set of towels, but the size was a little disappointing.

I bought these towels for my adult son's bath. The thickness, softness, and durability are JUST what I expected, and I made the right choice! I am extremely happy with the set of 8 ordered!

It is so difficult to find a towel set that meets my qualifications. Most of them have lovely borders that may be attractive but are are impossible to absorb one drop of moisture and after the first laundering they shrink! The edge of the towel is often grabbed to dry hands or face - only to find a scratchy, hard or satiny border that is useless. This set boasts a simple and attractive border which is woven of the terry - a very practical feature. The towels are not flimsy and are large enough to be more than adequate. The first set arrived with a long pull in the bath towel. Overstock more than made it right in quick time. We are still very pleased with the towels after several months of use. There has been no border shrinkage (see my first paragraph) and they still look as good as they did at first. (And there are no more "pulls" to mar the looks of the towels.)

These are the thickest bath towels, hand towels, and washcloths I have ever owned or even seen! They are very heavy, and do a great job drying you off after a shower. I wouldn't recommend for children due to the heavy weight, but they are great for adults to use. Very luxurious!

Decent towels. Good quality, like the neutral color. I think the bath towels are on the smaller side. So they are great for kids or teens but for a larger adult, this wouldn't wrap around a waist. I am a petite person (5'2, 125 lbs) and this wraps around my body but if I were a larger person...this wouldn't work. But for the price, it's a decent set of towels!

We have an unusual guest bath with walls that appear to shift in colour from gold-bronze-copper depending on how the light shifts [ Ralph Lauren Ballroom Gold paint]. These guest towels are the perfect accompaniment for this room. They are luxurious in texture and appearance, and because of the pattern of the border juxtaposed against the smooth velour like finish to the towels , they look fabulous in the room. The larger towel with out a border is lovely as well.

If you're looking for soft, high quality towels that dry out fairly quickly, I would recommend these. The included bath mats have a lovely Greek design as a border and are very, very soft. Don't worry if a lot of cotton fills the dryer lint screen the first couple of washes. It seems to be quite common for good towels, and doesn't seem to damage the towels.

These towels are beautiful for the price, but I wanted to point out a few things for those of you considering them. Foremost, I ordered the sterling blue color thinking it would coordinate well the greys in my bathroom. On two different computer monitors, the sterling blue looks to be a beautiful greyish-blue. In person, the towels are closer to a deep aqua. Although there's nothing wrong with the color, it looks nothing like the color online. A second minor issue has to do with the border pattern. On the generously sized bath towels, the pattern is sharp and clearly defined; however, on the hand towels (which are also generously sized) and wash cloths, the pattern is much less distinct. Perhaps this is to be expected, but I was somewhat disappointed. Overall, though, these are good quality towels and a reasonable price.

These towels are just what I was looking for. Absorbent, quick-drying, and the color I needed. Also, I like the size---not a huge bath sheet, and a great adult size. I definitely would order more (or a different color), if I needed. I find the household products on Overstock.com to be of great quality and as advertised---and very good products for the money.

bath sheets like this would usually be 40-50 dollars for just one. These are very thick /huge and very absorbent..... I washed them before using and they came out soft and fluffy- after continued washings they continue to look great and are not snagging or getting any less fluffy. ( I bought white- so have no comment on color) They are not smooth towels- meaning they have a loft to them- and not much of a decorative border which i like since that part never drys you anyway. They are a casual looking towel that you can double wrap your whole body in and they dry quickly after you use them - which is amazing considering the amount of cotton in them....total bargain!

Had a hard time finding a curtain I like that's not too feminine or, dated, over-stated. Even though the green in the curtain is kinda a slight muted lime green and the black in the curtain is black, the pattern is classic and dainty yet masculine enough to go really really well with my sage green, dark gray, and tan Columbia (r) brand bath towels, and jute rug w/ gold and green border. I bought a curved shower rod to show the curtain off, and feel like I'm in a spa.

But only for a kids bathroom, not sophisticated enough for an adult bathroom.
Make bathroom decorating a creative and enjoyable experience for your children. Use their favorite hobbies, colors and critters as inspiration for their bathroom decor. If you are decorating a kids' bath on a budget, use paint or bright towels to give the old bathroom a new look. Start with an attractive bathroom accessory such as a vibrant shower curtain and choose bathroom decor to match. If several children will be sharing the space, choose gender-neutral themes and colors.
A mattress? Why would your student need a mattress? You've bought toiletries, bed linens, folders, a desk lamp, bath rugs, towels; the list goes on. Your child doesn't need a new mattress, right? Dorms provide mattresses, right? Sure they do. They're thin and lumpy and have been slept on by 100 strangers. Ensure that your son or daughter stays healthy and gets the rest every student needs by sending them to college with a quality mattress.
