This product does come anywhere close to absorbing water like a traditional (at least in U.S.) towel. I had my doubts about it's absorbency, but took a chance on it because I knew I could use it for other purposes than a towel. Is a nice piece of fabric for a shawl or decoration.

Maybe it's the hookless thing. I just don't really like this shower curtain, but it is fabric and the liner can be removed to wash. But the whole THING is washable so I wash it all together. The mesh area is nice if you don't get much light in the shower. But I've gone back to traditional shower hooks, with rollers, that have a hook on the inside for the liner, and a hook to the outside for the shower curtain. That means I can wash the fabric liner easily. So it's my preference, I guess not the item. If you prefer hookless, you'll probably like it just fine.

I was expecting a true waffle shower curtain, with that traditional indented squares. This is not that. It's more of a navy blue shower curtain with textured diamonds on it. It'll do - it's not the end of the world. But buyer beware, if you're looking for that traditional waffle shower curtain, this would not be it.

So much better than the traditional toilet paper holder. Perfect match to my other fixtures!

I had remodeled a bathroom and with the changes, there was no room to put a traditional towel bar. I did not want to use hooks to hang the towels as it looks so messy to me. Reluctantly, I bought this, hoping it would work. It did and I am extremely pleased with it. It has the weight needed to hold three heavy, large bath towels, without toppling over. It looks great, too.

These towels are amazingly soft. I've used bamboo thread to crochet with and found it to be softer than the traditional cotton thread, and this set of towels is much the same, considerably softer than 100% cotton. I am pleased with the quality and size of this set. In my experience, bath towels seem to be getting smaller (or perhaps I'm getting bigger?), and you can't get a decent sized bath towel unless you buy them separately in a larger size. I found the bath towels to be more than adequate, and the hand towels and washcloths are substantial as well. There is a wider edging on all pieces than what you might normally see, but it's a slightly rolled edging and even that is very soft. No complaints here. I was able to purchase this set of towels at a discount in exchange for my honest, unbiased review, and I love them. This set of bamboo towels would make a lovely gift.

I've dreamt of owning a cashmere robe forever, so when this one caught my eye at such a low price, I couldn't resist. I wore it on my 3-week trip to South America: First, unbelted over jeans and a t-shirt on the plane. Worked perfectly as a long cardigan (though it did release a fair amount of fuzz, which I attributed to it being new), and also just to snuggle under instead of a yucky airline blanket. Next, in the traditional sense, as a bathrobe: lightweight, cozy, and sooooo soft next to the skin. And last, as a bathing suit coverup: modest, full coverage for the journey from stateroom to the pool, and delightful to throw on after swimming! Great sun protection, too, as I lounged on deck. Everyone who saw this robe asked me where to get one. Treat yourself, or someone you love. Bonus: It comes beautifully wrapped in a gorgeous box.

My husband and I started a new tradition to buy a set of these every year for Christmas as long as they have them. The ones we bought last year are still holding up well. We are slowly phasing out our old warn out towels that are not as big. My only complaint is I wish there were more colors. But these are a great price and great quality.
