I got this set in solid white. Wow, they are gleaming, and wow they are soft. Not only are they soft, they're thick and heavy. I'm a man who appreciates a good towel.. I will feel them up and down before making a decision. So buying online was a little weird, but there were so many good reviews I just felt ok going for it. Glad I did. Great deal.. great towels.

I purchased this towel set about a month ago and was initially so pleased with the true color match and the softness. When I washed them, however, I found several areas of each piece that faded out slightly in color; not completely but enough to be noticeable. That was really disappointing and detracts enormously from their overall quality. There was an attached label with washing instructions, which I followed exactly. I would not purchase these towels again.

Great over all size for a standard to slightly longer shower stall. Great height for sitting and washing the Rottweiler in the shower. Well made and I have not had any trouble with the leg lengths on the slightly angled shower pan. The wood can be left bare as it is teak but I have put a coat of cutting board oil (food grade mineral oil) on it, as the body oil I use in winter was soaking slightly into the wood. I recommend you do not use teak oil. I have used teak oil on my outside furniture and will not use it again. Teak oil leaves a finish that will flake off in time if you do not keep up with additional coats. Life is too short to be a slave to teak oil.

I bought this robe for my wife after reading positive reviews. She wanted to buy a luxary spa robe after a recent hotel stay but I couldn't bear the idea of buying one with a hotel logo or double the cost of this robe. Other reviews said that the robes ran a bit large, and that is not inaccurate. But I think my wife is a M/L rather than a L/XL, so a few more sizing options would have been nice. But the robe itself is very nice and she has gotten comfortable with the slightly larger size. It's not as soft as the hotel robes, but a solid product at half the price of the hotel types.

Bought for my mother in law after she found out she was allergic to cotton. The bath towel is very large and covers the whole body. Mom says the towel never feels quite dry, but, she loves the feel of it.

I ordered both the satin nickel and the chrome to see which I liked better (one was for our master bath and one for our daughters' bath)...the satin nickel is very nice. It is solid, tall, and looks great on our counter. I am very pleased with this purchase as I looked a long time to find one that would hold full-sized hand towels.

I washed these towels once and started using them. Within a few days golden spots appeared on the bath towel. I have had this happen with another set of towels which weren't 100% cotton and have been told that the dye doesn't hold. I liked the color (kiwi) and thought that they were super absorbent. But, if they continue down this path, they will end up with gold/yellow spots all over them. Totally bummed as they were for a bathroom remodel.

I bought 3 sets of these towels for my master and guest baths. I bought the taupe, burgundy and ivory. The colors are not 100% what I expected - the taupe is a more "beige" taupe, the ivory is a more "peachy" ivory and the burgundy is what I expected - although the colors were slightly skewed from my expectations, they were not different enough for me to return them. When I opened the package, they seemed thinner than I was hoping, but like many other reviews, once I washed them they fluffed up. They are soft, absorbent but solid towels - exactly what I was looking for. I recommend these towels - a great value for the price. Yet another positive Overstock experience!

Actuallty, I was disappointed. My friend recommended these towels based on an article about bamboo towels being mildew resistant. I think they are cold to touch even when they are dry. The towels are longer and narrower than most and I don't particularly like that. They do dry quickly, because they are thinner than a regular towel. I don't enjoy enjoy them much and probably won't buy bamboo towels again.

These towels are wonderful. They dry quickly, they absorb well after a bath or shower. I got the tangerine - more of a rust color - but could not be happier.

these are great towels except for the fact they are described and sold $$ as bath size 30" by 60" when they actually measure 30" by 56" ...the plastic bag they come in says 30" by 56" for the bath size the 56" ones are cheaper ... do they actually measure 56" i feel i was cheated out of my money

These towels are nice enough. The material is soft and the color is nice. I like the size - they aren't huge like some bath towels. I don't think the quality is anything amazing. There are definitely loose threads here and there and they seem to show wear pretty quick. They don't take forever to dry because they aren;t really heavy or thick which is nice. I took the advice of another reviewer and washed them in white vinegar before their first wash and that did a great job of killing the chemical smell.

I am enjoying the silkiness of these towels, especially the wash cloth for my face. The bath towel is longer than my other towels which can be a plus. I will probably get a few more over time.

Very good quality towel set and will definitely stand up to wash after wash. The only complaint I have is that I wish the bath towels were a little bigger. Other than that, they are a great buy.
Most bathroom decorators are accustomed to purchasing conventionally sized bath towels. Standard-sized bath towels are usually included as part of a set. Buying a set is often easier on the pocketbook, and there's no need to worry if your bath towels will match your hand towels and wash cloths. Don't scrub the notion of incorporating bath sheets into your bathroom sets, however. Bath sheets, due to their size and volume, add considerable luxury whenever you step outside of the shower or tub.
You've heard about bath towels and you have heard about beach towels; what's really the difference between the two? Is it that important to buy one or the other? Here you'll find out some of the common differences between the two types of towels, including their size, appearance, price and thickness.

Knowing how to sanitize bath towels effectively reduces the spread of illness in your home and prevents musty odors on towels. The process is simple, and all you need in addition to your regular laundry essentials are a few extras. This article will help you learn how to sanitize bath towels.
The principle of 60-30-10 is rooted in interior design theory. This concept designates a percentage to each color in a room to make your home visually appealing. According to this theory, 60 percent of any room should be decorated with the dominant color, 30 percent with a secondary color and 10 percent with an accent color. Following the 60-30-10 rule not only makes your room look better; it makes it easier to decorate because you know what to look for. Whether you want a place to store books or simply display collectibles, bookshelves are the perfect solution. A bookshelf is a versatile type of furniture that goes with any room or decorating style. Aside from using them for books, use the space for storage by placing baskets for magazines, games, or videos in the living room. Place bookshelves in the bathroom to store extra towels and bath items. Take this list of bookshelf essentials into account before you purchase a set of shelves.
Formerly a popular option for creating a psychedelic style in the '60s, shag rugs are back in a more contemporary form. Made with pile that is longer than one inch, shag rugs are incredibly soft and add depth to your home with their uneven texture. Whether it's a shag rug made from wool, cotton or leather, try using a shag rug to make a major statement in your home.
Although retro is often used to define anything old, there is a certain style that people associate with retro decor. In reference to home design from the '60s and '70s, retro means a room with shag carpets, bold repeating prints, and furniture with soft lines. Retro shag rugs and rugs with big patterns add the perfect amount of vintage feel and can be the foundation for many different room designs.
Out of all the bedding made, quilts may be the most diverse. Quilts are produced in all kinds of colors, patterns, sizes, styles and types. If you're looking for a quilt but don't know where to start, take a look at the popular types of quilts below to learn more about this beautiful kind of bedding. Amish quilts: These beautiful quilts reflect the Amish way of living and feature solid colors, deep hues, geometric patterns and very little embellishment. Amish quilts contain the highest quality of construction and stitching, and, sometimes, the wonderful stitch patterns (scrolls, feathers) contrast with the simple backgrounds of their quilts. Applique quilts: These quilts use a French needlework technique where fabric pieces are sewn onto another piece of material to create a design. Applique is used extensively in the quilting process and is not to be confused with patchwork. Patchwork pieces are joined together; applique is sewn on top of the whole piece. Baltimore album quilts: Baltimore album quilts came from Maryland in the early 1800s. Each block in the design of these quilts is appliqued differently, often in ornate floral patterns. Bangladeshi quilts: These quilts are made with layers of Saree cloth. Saree cloth is silk cloth used by women of India to wrap and fold around the body as a garment. The cloth is usually 40 to 60 inches wide by 6 yards long. These quilts are used as bedding or as decorative pieces. Bargello quilts: Bargello quilts are created with offset squares in an up-and-down geometric "V" pattern. The small squares of different fabrics and the colorful designs make these quilts true works of art. Hawaiian quilts: Hawaiian quilts are not pieced, and they usually showcase a large, symmetrical applique in the center of the quilt. Most often the background is white or another solid color. Patchwork quilts: Patchwork quilts are constructed of many small pieces of fabric which are put together in an improvised or irregular pattern. This is a well-known quilt style, and examples of historical patchwork quilts are found in many museums. Ralli quilts: Ralli quilts, sometimes known as rilli quilts, are traditional quilts made in India or Pakistan. There is an abundance of embroidery as well as applique on the patchwork patterns. Star quilts: Star quilts are created with a large star shape, or several star shapes, dominating the pattern. Wedding ring quilts: Wedding ring quilts are crafted in a design of interlocking rings. This pattern goes far back in history: in the fourth century it was used to decorate drinking cups in Rome. Wedding ring quilts are highly popular and make wonderful wedding gifts. If you're looking for a gift to please an engaged couple, you can't go wrong with a wedding quilt. Bedding always makes a significant gift for the bride and groom, and a quilt with coordinating Egyptian cotton sheets can be even better. View All Quilts Back to Guides Directory View All Quilts

Traditional furniture and contemporary furniture each belong to distinctive interior design categories. Where the first is a celebration of the ornate and indulgent, the second adheres to the understated. Traditional furniture offers elegance and romance. Contemporary furniture is subtle and urban in its appeal. The styles each have their own characteristics, their own charm and attractions. They are, in a design sense, opposites.
Also known as expandable tables, butterfly leaf tables are a helpful solution for solving space problems in a small dining room. Traditional dining room tables take up more space, and not everyone has that kind of space. Rather than settling for a smaller table that can't accommodate guests on special occasions, you can use a table that can be extended to allow for more seating when you need it. Here are the answers some of the most frequently asked questions about butterfly leaf tables.
Mankind and, of course, womankind have adorned themselves with precious metals for centuries. We've always loved the color, shine, and rarity of gold and silver, fashioning the metals into coins, crowns, and even dishes. For talented artisans and their patrons, fine jewelry meant gold and silver and, recently, platinum. However, other metals, such as steel and titanium, can be crafted into high-quality, durable and stylish jewelry, and jewelers have become more appreciative of these alternatives in recent years. The jewelry industry uses the term "alternative metals" to describe the trend toward using industrial metals and alloys for contemporary design. This alternative metals buying guide offers some basic information to help you learn more about these fashionable metals.
