These towels are described as American cotton and 60 inches long. The cotton is very soft and fluffy, but the bath towel is less than 54 inches, especially when laundered. I purchased this set looking for a large bath towel and was disappointed. However, the towel was so soft that I did buy other thick towels on sale. Previously we had only used the thinner large towels. Now I'll have something nice for guests.

these are great towels except for the fact they are described and sold $$ as bath size 30" by 60" when they actually measure 30" by 56" ...the plastic bag they come in says 30" by 56" for the bath size the 56" ones are cheaper ... do they actually measure 56" i feel i was cheated out of my money

I disregarded the bad reviews and now I think that your stock runs from good o bad on the same item, as some reviews were good. This items will be returned. I washed them and they shed a lot. When I took them out of the washer one hand towel had unraveled 10 out of the 20 inches. It had shredded deep into the towel. The bath towels have loose loops ad in one area it is bold spots. The trim shrunk more than the towel and it is beginning to pull and has lose threads.. I had to run an empty washer full cycle and still had to clean debris. I had to clean the dryer filter 4 times! during a 60 mts. drying period. the fact that some are fair means that they use different quality material and mix the batches. I would not even considering donating them as it would be a disservice.

I really wanted to LOVE these towels! The colors were great, the size was perfect and the price was fair. I love large towels that I can wrap myself up in! I was a little worried about the size because stated in another review they said it was 4" smaller than on the website! I bought them anyway after speaking to an overstock agent having been assured the bath towels were truly 30 x 60. Upon receiving my shipment the Bath towels were 30 X 56! I was very disappointed and however overstock credited my order and I kept the smaller set of towels. The towels I ordered were the sand color and are exactly the color I had hoped they would be! They were soft and felt wonderful and hardly any lint in the dryer after the first few washes. I have to say they were TOO SOFT and didn't absorb the water when trying to dry off... it just kind of pushed it around. I figured after being BROKEN IN the absorbency would get better - I have now washed these over 20 times and they are now just started to be the towels I expected. I can say that after all the washes and so on the towels have held up nicely. I say order another set of towels because after all this fuss even with the credit to my account these towels aren't worth the effort I have had to put into them. Towels are made to DRY people off... we shouldn't have to break them in for a month before they do their job.

we'll see how they hold their color and weave through a few washings............jumped the gun when I wrote a review of previous towel purchase here at OSTK, .....these are the replacements, the others didn't even last 60 days

I am short so this robe is way too long for me but it is comfortable and warm at 60 degrees after getting out of a pool. If you are taller than 5' 5" it should be fine. The material seems to be fraying. That is not what I expected. So I am concerned with the life expectancy of this product!

I highly recommend this product. Lots of quality and what a bargain! The rod on its own is $60 at other big stores. For half this price you get an additional set of hooks and a liner? Sounds great to me. The liner is really good. Looks sturdy and long.

I was hoping for more quality; this was something I could have easily bought locally and for the same price; disappointed with other reviewer's who raved about this bath rug. Really??? Maybe a reviewer should mention their own age which would be a clue to the rest of us regarding their experience buying such things. I'm 60; I have bought many bath rugs over the years so I have a lot to compare these to.

I bought this to scurry to and from the hot tub this winter. We live in Texas, so it's only a problem sometimes, but it's still pretty cool when you're wet and it's below 60 degrees out. This is a great robe. It's little big on me but it wraps around nicely and is very absorbent for that mad dash back inside.

Shower rods look great. Satin nickel finish looks as advertised. Packaged well. I was a little concerned when I ordered because the item description gives clearance data for 60" and 72" openings, and my bathtub opening is 58". (worried rod would only work for openings from 60-72"). I was pleasantly surprised when I looked at the instructions in the box and saw that this curved shower rod works for openings from 48-72". It's easy to put together, and looks great. I agree with other reviewers that the shower liner smells pretty bad, but what shower liner right out of the package doesn't? Received product 3 days after ordering.

Pros: 1. inexpensive 2. heavy weight 3. dye does not bleed Cons: 1. They maybe too heavy weight. It takes 60 minutes to dry in an electric dryer. Normal towels are 35 minutes. 2. Towels is already starting to fall apart after three washings. Edges are starting to fray. 3. If you live in a humid climate these towels may not dry between usage. After thought: 1. I would buy a lighter towel.

Encouraged by the majority of reviews, I opted to replace my 12 year old Ratty with this robe. It is worth perhaps 60% of its purchase price. The terrycloth is very thin (even after washing and fluff-dry), the construction is poor (seams pucker and hems uneven) and the X/XL size is not generous for a size 14 female. There is no quality hotel that would supply this robe to guests on purpose. I only wish it could be returned.

My space is a bit over 80 inches so a standard rod wasn't available. I was leary about an expandable rod, but this one proves to be of good quality (so far). One end slides out of the other to expand the length. I would have preferred a different finish as my other metals are all brushed nickel, but I've got the rod pretty high so its not that noticable. My tub is a standard 60in one. it didn't occur to me that this rod would have the curve centered on the 78 in, so it's offset from the 60 in tub. It works okay, and it's my own fault for not thinking the center lines though, but that's why I only gave it 4 stars.

Have washed and used only twice, but there were no reviews yet. These are very substantial towels (might be too heavy for elderly/frail). They washed well (though slight puckering at hems - they still look good hanging on rod) without excessive lint production, and no lint when using. Weave is tight, but thick and quality feeling, and they absorb well. These are labelled "Kassatex Hotelier", and the same towels elsewhere are priced $25 to $60 more (some sites have different names for the colors, such as charcoal instead of the tile grey I purchased - this is a mid-dark grey). Excellent value, would recommend. For those to whom it matters: these say Made in China.

We are renovating a bathroom from 60's turquoise/pink (eek) to a basic black/white, so I searched high and low for B/W shower curtains (adding color with towels), and there are plenty. I love this one because I am an Italian American, it's a fun idea, it goes with the B/W theme without begin overbearing, and it looks like it will be easy care. I have no idea if Italian words are spelled incorrectly, and only today (the curtain has only been up for several days) noticed that one English word is spelled incorrectly. I took a picture and sent it to my adult children for a chuckle. We're embracing the whole fun quirkiness of the curtain. If I truly want to learn Italian, I'll rely on Rosetta Stone, not a shower curtain. So, simply said...I love it!

Bought this for our new house. All bath fixtures are satin nickel. This is a very substantial, well made shower rod. I was very pleased! Would expect to pay more for such quality. I have purchased quite a few shower curtain rods over the years (I'm almost 60) and this is by far the nicest. Another great Overstock find. Came quickly, packaged well. I have been a Club O member for several years now and believe me, the price for the membership is paid for quickly in free shipping and 5% credit (at least) on every purchase. I have rarely had a negative experience. And if I have, it was mostly my fault for not reading a description carefully enough.

The curtain rod itself is nice. It's well made and it looks great once you finish; however, from out of the box to finished is a trial. First of all, read the instructions...and then throw them away because they will lead you to a bad place. I ended up having to patch a saucer-sized hole in my drywall because of their instructions. The template is wrong and will have you punch huge holes for toggle-mollies that you then can't use. The rod itself doesn't fit as far into the brackets as the manufacturer thinks it does so the bar is way too long for even a normal bathtub opening. My opening was 59 1/2" and they claim to fit 59" to 60" openings. Take my advice...measure where you're going to put it and then stuff the bar into both brackets as far as it will go. Measure the rod assembly across the brackets like it will sit when it is installed and compare the two. I had to saw 1 1/2" off the bar to make it fit...after I repaired my drywall. DO NOT FOLLOW THEIR INSTRUCTIONS! It is a perfectly serviceable product, but I am irritated at the manufacturer for not fact-checking their instructions in any form or fashion.

I bought this curtain for my guest bathroom and was a little hesitant because of a few poor reviews. I'm glad I purchased this! First, this curtain is nearly shear, and the material has a lovely sheen to it which looks lovely when light hits it. I have a feeling that some people think that if they're not getting a shower curtain that is made of thick plastic (the kind that's made to be used alone) or a curtain that looks and feels like a '60s style heavy window drape, they're somehow getting sub-standard goods. If that's your taste, you won't like this shower curtain. If you're looking for a light and breezy sea inspired curtain with lovely hues of sage, green, cream on a white background, this is a shower curtain for you. I accented the bathroom with cream colored rugs, a small basket of real seashells, and some plush cream colored towels to make this one of the nicest rooms in my house. Even though this curtain looks thin, it's still quite durable. Because of the sheer quality of the curtain, I bought a cheap liner to use with it, and after hanging both the curtain with the liner, the colors look even better with the liner behind it. I'm very glad I bought this shower curtain.

Great length for a double vanity. I had to return it because the color is brighter than my other burgundy towels, etc..

Length of my tub. Does not slip at all. I ordered white and it is beautiful. Simply love it
Most bathroom decorators are accustomed to purchasing conventionally sized bath towels. Standard-sized bath towels are usually included as part of a set. Buying a set is often easier on the pocketbook, and there's no need to worry if your bath towels will match your hand towels and wash cloths. Don't scrub the notion of incorporating bath sheets into your bathroom sets, however. Bath sheets, due to their size and volume, add considerable luxury whenever you step outside of the shower or tub.
As far as home linens go, towels are most often taken for granted. The power of a towel shouldn't be underestimated. From the soothing calmness of warm bath towels to the subtle decorative influence of a well-placed hand towel, the unsung heroes of the textile world have more effect on your home than you may give them credit for. Because of this influence towels have on your bath decor, your search for the perfect bathroom accessories should always begin with towels. There are a variety of factors that come together to create the perfect bath towel, mainly fabric and size, and finding a towel that fits these characteristics can be one of your more confusing bath decorating tasks. Don't panic, though. This towel buying guide will help you pick the right towel for every circumstance.
