When ordering this item make sure you order the right size. I wear a size 10/12 would order Ladies large, I received Unisex extra large. And it is certainly Extra Large, 3 of me could fit in this robe. Nice turkish robe but I think the s/m would be too big also. No where did it say Unisex it specifically stated sizes for men and women but I guess this is Men/Women Unisex sizes. It was confusing. I am always happy with whatever I have purchased through Overstock.com this has not changed my mind. Thank you Overstock.com

Fabric sort of thin but that would have been okay with me if it hadn't been so big. I'm a size 6 and while I wouldn't mind a roomy bathrobe I felt as if I was drowning in the unisex S/M. Back to girl sizes for me...

It's a nice robe - very soft and comfy. I've had it for a couple years now. One thing to keep in mind is the sizing. I wear a women's size large so I ordered a large in this product. Silly mistake on my part, since "unisex" really means "men's" when it comes to sizing. Plus, while I think that I ordered a large, the actual sizing of this product is L/XL (as in there are really only two options. You can order a S/M or a L/XL. I don't know if the website now reflects this accurately). So the robe is huge on me. I could have exchanged it but since it's just a bathrobe it didn't seem worthwhile.

Bathrobe is soft and absorbent. It does run a little large - I got medium, but small would have been fine (size 4-6). Needs to be washed once prior to use.

Perfect, fluffy, absorbent, warm robe. I got the S/M for both myself (5'5") and my partner (5'7") and it fits us both really well!

Nice robe but it runs big. Ordered the L/XL thinking it would shrink but I should have ordered a S/M since it didn't seems to shrink much, if at all. Husband wears it everyday.

I love this robe. Excellent quality and so soft and comfortable. I washed it and didn't notice any shrinkage, it just got softer. I am 5'5" and have plenty of room in the s/m. I would say someone up to 5"8" would have enough length to wear a s/m. I cuffed the sleeves once to make it the right length for my arms.

Ran small contrary to the other reviews. I ordered a M since the reviews said it ran larger. However, I received a S/M which is definitely not a standard M. Otherwise appears to be good quality.

I'm 5'5'' and 135lbs and I ordered the S/M for myself. My husband is 5'11'' and 195 loves the M/L. I put mine in the dryer as directed and it shrunk to the point where I could no longer wear it. I love the robe itself, but would recommend hanging it to dry.

This robe has a nice thickness, like a towel, but the S/M fit is designed for a short, wide person. Thus, I don't recommend this robe for a slender person. Oddly enough, the sleeves are quite long, so if you are a short and robust man with exceedingly long arms, this is the robe for you.

As other reviewers commented on the robe not being white enough, I first noticed that the robe was definitely white like snow white. I'm 5'9" and 200 lbs and the S/M was just a bit too small. I'll be giving the robe away since it doesn't quite fit and buying something else since white probably isn't a good idea since I have a severe back problem and tend to live in a robe and white just attracts every stain and drop of ketchup that I get near. Very happy with the robe though. If I do buy again, I'll try the M/L. It would help if there were three sizes instead of only two.

i just returned from a cruise and missed my stateroom robe, so I purchased this one. it is just what I was looking for. The all cotton terry breathes and is very absorbent--much better than the plush synthetics. i've even slept in my robe on cold nights. The sizing is true, and the length is just right. The sleeves are long enough for wide cuffing--and I'm 5' 7", 138# The S/M fits great... roomy but not bulky..

I, like many, was trying to finding a perfect replacement for my 10-yr-old terrycloth towel robe. I am very happy with this purchase. I like that it's terrycloth both inside and out (not just one sided). It keeps me warm and dry. I am most impressed with the fit. I am a tall and slender female, and the S/M is just big enough to be comfortable, but very easy to move around in. It is the perfect weight. A couple months after I purchased this a friend gave me an expensive spa version from another company. It is terrycloth on only the inside, is such a terrible fit I can't move around in it, and is way too heavy for my comfort. I threw hers away and kept this one. The one downside is that strings do come off of it. I foresee needing to re-sew the seam of one of the arms in the future. But it's so comfortable I can't complain.

A nice light- to mid-weight waffle cloth. The cut is good: fairly long sleeves, nice high collar, plenty of wrap for a normal build (a little more than I need, actually). I'm just under six feet tall, lean (about 150 lbs) with long arms and legs, and the S-M size works well for me, coming to just above mid-calf (proviso: I haven't washed the robe yet; I will do so in cold water, since if it shrinks in length, or especially in sleeve length, it will be too short). The topstitching / felling along the collar and other exposed seems uses quite a loose stitch, with nearly a quarter of an inch between running stitches. This may be just right for sewing the waffle-weave cotton, but beware of snags. My late wife had a kimono-style robe of similar waffle cloth, with a twill band edging the front and neck, which used much finer topstitching and made a cleaner and sturdier finish. I do prefer the shawl collar style for myself, though. The inside piecing seams and the binding on the cut edges, which are exposed, is done with an interlock/overcasting machine, leaving a raw finish (like the side seams of a polo shirt). I would have rated the garment more highly had the finishing been better (for example, felled or bound edges along the visible inside seams) but that would have driven the price up substantially. As it is the robe is excellent value at the Overstock price.
