Only one little thing I would say is that do not put in the washing machine with anything else on first wash because all the fluff (lots and lots of it) comes off. Other than that very satisfied

I'm so glad I got the grey. It's been machine washed on M and dried (using those round woolie things-- dryer sheets are so high in VOCs that they cause respiratory problems if they're used!!) The stitched down tie has 2 loops that are give you a bit of flexibility in fit, the pockets are very handy. Overall, it's WONDERFUL FABULOUS COMFY! Buy it! Whatever price it is, it's worth it's weight in gold! Buy it!

I bought this robe for my wife after reading positive reviews. She wanted to buy a luxary spa robe after a recent hotel stay but I couldn't bear the idea of buying one with a hotel logo or double the cost of this robe. Other reviews said that the robes ran a bit large, and that is not inaccurate. But I think my wife is a M/L rather than a L/XL, so a few more sizing options would have been nice. But the robe itself is very nice and she has gotten comfortable with the slightly larger size. It's not as soft as the hotel robes, but a solid product at half the price of the hotel types.

A nice light- to mid-weight waffle cloth. The cut is good: fairly long sleeves, nice high collar, plenty of wrap for a normal build (a little more than I need, actually). I'm just under six feet tall, lean (about 150 lbs) with long arms and legs, and the S-M size works well for me, coming to just above mid-calf (proviso: I haven't washed the robe yet; I will do so in cold water, since if it shrinks in length, or especially in sleeve length, it will be too short). The topstitching / felling along the collar and other exposed seems uses quite a loose stitch, with nearly a quarter of an inch between running stitches. This may be just right for sewing the waffle-weave cotton, but beware of snags. My late wife had a kimono-style robe of similar waffle cloth, with a twill band edging the front and neck, which used much finer topstitching and made a cleaner and sturdier finish. I do prefer the shawl collar style for myself, though. The inside piecing seams and the binding on the cut edges, which are exposed, is done with an interlock/overcasting machine, leaving a raw finish (like the side seams of a polo shirt). I would have rated the garment more highly had the finishing been better (for example, felled or bound edges along the visible inside seams) but that would have driven the price up substantially. As it is the robe is excellent value at the Overstock price.

I'm very happy with the purchase I made with this robe. Some of the stitching on the tie came undone, but this was able to easily be mended. Otherwise, a solid product.

This is the second plush polyester bathrobe I have had. It, like the previous one, tends to "pill" after washing, but I really think that is just the nature of polyester fleece. I just trim off the "pills" and after enough machine washing and drying, the "pilling" goes away leaving the robe still soft and warm and snuggly. The robe is reasonably well made. I did have to sew back a bit of one pocket where the stitches had come loose, but "no big deal". Compared to several similar robes at a couple department stores that I had previously tried on, this robe was lighter, softer, and fit better. It was also half the price. I originally planned to give this as a gift, but decided to go with a different "fancier" brand for the gift. I am keeping this for myself however, as I think it is a good deal for the price.

I bought this to replace a bathrobe I had had for decades. The robe is solid and seems to be good quality. Not quite as absorbent as the more expensive white robes, but the tighter weave leads to less snagging. A very good all-round robe.
You have plenty of big, fluffy towels to keep you warm when you hit the bathroom's cold tile floor after a shower. But haven't you forgotten something? Staying cozy after you have dried off requires a bathrobe to wear when you really need to warm up. A luxurious bathrobe can be a particularly great addition to your morning or evening shower or simply a soft piece of clothing to wrap up in on a lazy weekend. Still not convinced you need to buy one? Here are five more reasons you'll want to make sure you have a robe in your bathroom. Read More
