I ordered XL and received a Large, other than the mistake made by the shippers, I was very pleased with the purchase.

My husband and I both love these robes! We needed something to wear before and after soaking in the outdoor hot tub. We had ordered fancy 'spa' robes a few years earlier, but they were cut too small, and shrank after washing. These new robes are just perfect. My husband and I are not big people (5' 10" and 5'8") so I was hoping they would be a bit on the large size and they are, but not too big. They do leave fuzz in the dryer lint screen, but that is typical of terrycloth. Not a problem...and they did not shrink too much either. I love the golden tobacco color, too. Perfect for what we were looking for and at a great price.

I ordered a large in this bath robe and it seemed more like an XL, maybe even an XXL.

Robe really would only be good for a tall (over 5'10") person and a very large person. It is way too big for an average size person

I liked the purple! And the fabric was light and soft but thinner than I expected, but what bothered me was how small it was cut. I wear a 12/14 and ordered the Large\Extra Large. It fit but not very well .

I bought this for my wife and it was much too large for her. She's smaller than most, but the robe still drowns her. But she says it is comfortable if you're right the size.

Like the quality of the robe, but it is really BIG. I had chosen medium, then checked the sizing chart before finalizing the order and decided to go with the large. Big mistake. These things run really big, so be aware. I am returning my large and will be ordering the medium.

Like others have said, this is a large robe. I'm 5'6" & size 16, and it still belts & drapes nicely with room to spare. It's so soft I'll probably order another & some as gifts. If you're a tactile person who loves curling up with soft blankets, you'll want this robe, as it feels very nice against your skin.

I'm 5'3" and 110lbs. I expected the small/medium to be ample. I didn't expect to almost wrap the robe around myself twice. And the sleeves were 7" too long. I'd have had to roll them up twice. The good news -- it fit my 6 foot 175 pound husband perfectly. He was very happy!

Robe really isn't one size fits all or most - my husband is usually a size "large" and this robe was too small. Sorry I didn't splurge on the more expensive waffle bath robe. I am keeping it for myself and I am a size 8-10 in women's. He was disappointed.

Quality was good. I personally did not like the way the bath robe fit. It was way too large for me and Although I usually like the kimono/bat wing style of shirts (I have many) I just did not like the way this bath robe fit. This is my personal opinion, but I did think the quality and color was nice.

The quality of the robe seems fine and the fabric felt nice. The size is more like XXL than an average sized women's robe. If you want a large robe, go ahead and order it.

I love this robe, and I'm not much of a robe lady. It does run large in size, but I'm a womens 18 and it fits well. Very soft cotton. My favorite feature is the connected tie back. It is thin enough for all the time comfort, yet not too thin to be cold. I. 5'5" andf found it to be a bit long. I hemmed up about 7 inches.

This robe is very soft and of good quality. Since my concern on ordering a one-size-fits-all product was that it would be too small for my husband, I was very pleased that this robe is abundantly roomy. My husband is 6' 7" and athletically trim, so the large sizing was great because it provided ample length--including in the sleeves. This robe would be too large for someone with a short, slender build.

I ordered this robe in a cream color, not so creamy - much more of a yellow tan shade. Anyways, its really nice and the towel part seems very good, the only issue is that unlike anybody else is saying... I think its way too big! And yes, I ordered and got the s/m. So here's the thing, for any woman who is truly a size s or xs (I am 5'2 100lbs) this robe is massive. If you like it big than its pretty good. I surely don't. I understand that most items are sized weird these days but this is no small robe. Its still very nice but is made for the "average" larger American, not a petite or European sized person.

The item is good in quality. However it is extremely larger than the size it purports to be. I would recommend to quite tall friends only. Additionally, I would suggest that the dimensions of these items be divulged in part of the description.

I've looked for months to find a replacement waffle weave robe, so I was excited to find this one from Overstock. The color is a nice blinding white. I was a bit concerned with another review that indicated that "white" wasn't really "white". Not to worry. The weight is somewhat lighter than my old one but I need it for the warmer months so that shouldn't be a big issue. The price was quite reasonable.

We ordered four of these in different sizes and two colors for our guest rooms. With what airlines charge these days for luggage, people travel lighter and our bath with the best shower is some distance from the bedrooms. We looked at department stores, but couldn't believe the prices. While these are not the same as the ones we looked at in stores, they feel nice and heavy and had a comfortable fit when I tried the medium (which I usually wear) and my husband the large (which he usually wears). The colors looked good and they had a nice weight. For the price, we were so pleased with the quality that we are ordering two more to replace the old robes we've been wearing!
