It seems to run slightly small. After several washes it has thread runs. I would not purchase again.

I knew from the reviews that this robe would be quite large, but I wanted organic cotton and the dark gray is an intriguing color. I found it a bit too much material when I first tried it on, but have come to love it! I am almost 5'5" and the hem lands several inches above my ankles, and the sleeves reach almost to my wrists. I weigh about 150 pounds, am pear shaped, and long waisted. Straight out of the package, the cotton is very soft, hangs beautifully. The robe is well constructed...I was a seamstress and know about this. All the seams are finished, and the attached ties look like they will remain that way. I love that....I am always dealing with robes whose ties are coming out of a belt loop and threatening to fall off. I have found that the ties are placed somewhat higher than my waist, so I have discovered purposefully tying the belt several inches above my waist and making it an empire style. I don't wrap the edges over each other when wearing a nightgown beneath. I let the edges just meet near my midline and the material gathers in a very pretty way. If I want to bundle up in it, it becomes much less flattering, but works fine. I would say this fabric is on the light side of mid weight, if that makes sense. It will be perfect getting out of the shower in air conditioning, which is what I want it for, as my terry robe is too warm. I am tempted to get this in the purple color, it's that delightful. Why this is sold separately from the other colors is a mystery, but I am so glad I tried this.

The robe itself was of great quality. Its very soft and a good fit. However, when it arrived it was suppose to be a dark grey color, as in the picture and it was bright white, with only the collar being light grey. This was a bit of a problem because the person I purchased it for asked specificaly for a dark nuetral color. I would recommend the robe, just wish it came in the correct color.

One of the nicest robes I have ever had. The right weight, not too heavy, not flimsy. Soft turkish cotton, I chose the gray, a pleasant light color, not dull, rather has a touch of silver. Great gift idea.

If you are not at least 6 feet tall do not even consider this robe. The fabric is great and the construction is good. It is very attractive. but like I said...

My daughter really like the dark grey color-very rich. The material is fabulous. Fabric does not pill, high quality at a nice price. Really like the attached tie, don't have to worry about lousing. Nice long length. The sleeves are perfect in size as well, not to wide as to get in the way of washing hands and such.

I give it three stars because it was to big and after the first wash it started to tear.

This is an excellent buy for the price. I scoured many websites and found nothing with a hood and 100% cotton. The gray is a very pleasing color. I have washed it twice and it washed very well. I did not have problems with lint. It is really long too ( easily fits a 6ft person )and has a matching belt , which is removable. The stitching is strong. It did not wrinkle much either. I loved it and it is a very well made , heavy yet soft robe. It was shipped and reached on time.I am very happy with this purchase. I wish they made this for women too, in a smaller length.

Beautiful robe. Long yet lightweight and very soft. Purchased for a young man 5'11, 140lb. He loves it. The color is a nice natural grey and the product was labeled "Pure Fiber" I think that is the brand name - "100% Organic Combed Cotton Kimono Robe 100% Certified Organic Cotton. One Size Fits Most. Low-impact Dyed. Double Front Pocket. Attached Belt. Made in India." There is not a sewn in tag in the neckline which we really like as it is more comfortable to wear.

There is something about a nice white bathrobe that makes you feel like you can answer the door, or even run out an get the a breakfast sandwich before before they quit serving at the fast-food drive-in window. I even got a compliment by one of the employees! I haven't washed mine yet, but I think if you get it a little larger, it looks a little more expensive. There is nothing that makes clothes cheaper than if it is fit too small. The monogram is handy to make sure you don't get them mixed up, if you get one for husband, etc. I got one for my mom who lives in a retirement home, and the number of thefts that occur in the laundry room is unbelievable, so the monogram comes in handy there. I have had the waffle design before, and it covers up body parts with the distracting pattern, and is not too thick, and looks polished. Terry or fleece, etc t can make you look ten pounds heavier, shed, collect dust, hair and are often way too warm. The momogram is grey, so bleach could change it to purple, or some other color, but I like to add a little bleach to personal wear, when I was it. So then 100% cotton is perfect.

My wife loves this robe--one of her favorite Christmas presents this year. It is very comfortable, and it fits well. I'd say it is well worth the money, considering the ones I saw in shops around town. It absorbs moisture well after a shower and is very warm. My wife says that some microfiber or chenile robes make you sweat and don't absorb. (I almost bought one in green or grey for myself, but the one I have is still perfectly good.) I'd say, don't hesitate--get it!
