I'm debating whether to return this robe or to keep it and be less than thrilled. As other reviewers have noted, the robe just doesn't close sufficiently in front so that when I sit, it opens up. I ordered the S/M, as I wear a size 4 or 6, but it still doesn't close completely in front. The fabric is nice and the color is a rich brown, but I can see being really uncomfortable come a cold winter morning

This robe is at least cotton but it is not "thick" or "luxurious" as described. Rather it is thin, flimsy and about 1/4 the weight of my previous terry robes. Altogether a big disappointment.

I have been searching for a replacement for my worn out cotton robe and when I read the reviews for this item I thought I had finally found "the one." What a disappointment! The material is flimsy and cheap looking and the sizing was not as generous as other reviews had indicated. I decided to return it, but changed my mind when l read the return policy and realized I was stuck with a dud. I washed the robe to get rid of some of the excessive lint, and to my dismay, one of the sleeves came unraveled at the arm seam- about 4 inches. Lesson learned. No more purchases for me from Overstock.com!!

Fairly soft enough. Sleeves are both voluminous(can fit 4 of my arms in them), and only come down to 3/4 length. Also I have short arms! Overall too big for M. Again basic design flaws that make robe unwearable.

These robes are the exact same robes that you would use in a spa. They are excellent quality. We actually ended up purchasing 4 of them. Two for us and two for gifts. Everyone enjoyed them. I might add, Overstocks customer service is by far better than any experience you have in a retail store.

Got this robe before a hip replacement surgery. I wanted a thin, not too long, not too thick robe. Everything about this robe fit the bill. It is a little longer than I imagined but perfect for what I wanted. The large I ordered was quite big but still wear every day. Just be aware that I think it runs a bit large. I am 5''5", 140lbs, 38DD. Gave it a 4 only because it runs big!

Very nice soft Egyptian cotton robe. The sleeves make it unworkable for me. There are voluminous. I can fit 3-4 of my arms in them, which would leave me freezing. Another decent robe with a major design flaw. Too bad. Returning

I ordered 4 for my family's Christmas gifts and we all loved them. So soft if you need a soft comfy robe this is it. We had a little trouble with the shipping and customer service was extremely helpful

I bought this for my wife and she loves it. This robe is well made, very soft and warm, and even the sleeve length is good. Some robes she tried in stores had sleeves that seemed 3/4 long. This robe is worth the money.

I love the fabric of this robe because it's really soft and not bulky like a lot of the terry cloth robes. I love how the tie is sewn into the back so it's not constantly falling off or having to be pulled through loops to stay on. The length is good - I'm 5'9" and it comes just below my knees. I don't like the sleeve length and find it to be awkward as it's like 3/4 sleeve with a wide opening. I tend to end up rolling mine just so it doesn't feel like I have big flaps. My only complaint is that it is HUGE. I'm 8 and a half months pregnant and I could fit another half of me in this robe. I tried to shrink it in the wash but it still wraps around me as far as it can go and then I look like a nun. Better too big than too small, but where I'm not always going to be pregnant...it will drown me once I have this baby.

This robe was a gift for my sis inlaw who just endured open heart surgery. I chose blue because she wears blue when we visit and it is my favorite color too. Robe arrived in record time of less than 4 days just in time for her to arrive home from hospital. She said this robe is so soft and warm. That statement made me very happy that I chose right item instead of a plant. Thanks Overstock!

For the price these are great robes. I am using them for female guests and bought the XL so that they would fit everyone!

The quality is just as I have experienced at high-end spas. I gave a 4/5 only because the S/M size is too small around. I am 5'7", size 36C, shirt size S/M, pants size 4, and was surprised that it is not larger around. For example, when I sit, I have to make sure I cover my legs with the fabric of the robe, otherwise it falls to the side b/c there's not enough material. I definitely should have gotten the large. I imagine this would be perfect for a petite person. I'm average size!

I bought 4 of these robes, for patients to use after their saunas. I have to buy some more because they are so soft and cuddley. I am going to buy one for myself and for presents. They do shed a little but after a few washings they are okay and are holding up fine with all the washings they receive.

Nice and long, which I prefer. I chose a medium, mainly because I'm 5' 4", and I didn't want to have to role up cuffs or trip on the bottom. This all works, although it doesn't wrap as generally around me and feels a tad snug across the chest. I haven't laundered it yet, so can't comment on that. The robe isn't quite as thick and warm as I'd hoped it would be. That said, it will be sufficient (with some fleece PJ's underneath) to handle cold, winter mornings (I live in a 100-year-old house in Ohio, so that's important.) I'm sure it will be perfect for the rest of the year. So, although I'm not thrilled, I still happy I bought it.

Encouraged by the majority of reviews, I opted to replace my 12 year old Ratty with this robe. It is worth perhaps 60% of its purchase price. The terrycloth is very thin (even after washing and fluff-dry), the construction is poor (seams pucker and hems uneven) and the X/XL size is not generous for a size 14 female. There is no quality hotel that would supply this robe to guests on purpose. I only wish it could be returned.

We recently stayed in a B and B that had these robes in the room, and I loved it much more than the terry robe I had a home. They were for sale $85 there, but half that on Overstock. I am very happy with this robe and highly recommend it. I am a medium sized female and the large/xlarge comes to my ankles, and is big, but I like them that way.

I love my robe. In fact I wear it QUITE A BIT! I'm 5'5" and it falls between the middle of my lower leg so I love that it's not to long, but not to short. I think my only complaint it the sleeve length could be a touch longer and the shoulders could be a touch thinner. There's only one size and it was pretty big on me. (5'5" 130lb) SO I washed and dried it and it shrank A LOT hence the longer sleeves thing, it's still a little wide, but much better than it was and it was worth having shorter sleeves (about 3/4 length) to be able to quickly wash and dry it and have it available for use again and shrinking the shoulders. Definitely very soft and comfy. I was worries about that, but it's super soft and it feels really good. Great product and worth the cost!

We surveyed about 750 of our customers and asked, "What do you really want for Valentine's Day?" Both men and women responded, telling us what they want as well as what they plan to give. The answers didn't always line up; for example, 12 percent of respondents said they plan to give a stuffed animal, but only 4 percent said they want to get one. If you want to give your significant other what they really want for Valentine's Day, consider these gift ideas.
You can add a lot of old-fashioned charm to your bathroom with a claw foot tub and shower enclosure. Once you have the bathtub and plumbing fixtures installed, it's time to set up the frame for the shower curtain. With a normal tub, you could just rely on a shower rod between two walls, but a clawfoot tub is usually set away from the wall in an open area, which means the shower curtain rail will need to cover the entire bath tub perimeter. And that can require a custom enclosure frame for your unique claw foot tub. Here are a few steps to help you install it.
There are plenty of reasons why you might choose to install a shower enclosure in your bathroom. You may be converting a half bathroom into a full bathroom or seeking to scale back a full bathroom to create some extra space. Either way, the simplest way to complete this home-improvement project is to install a free-standing shower enclosure. There are plenty of shower kits available, with both glass and fiberglass walls, allowing you to create just the look and feel you want.
