I bought this to scurry to and from the hot tub this winter. We live in Texas, so it's only a problem sometimes, but it's still pretty cool when you're wet and it's below 60 degrees out. This is a great robe. It's little big on me but it wraps around nicely and is very absorbent for that mad dash back inside.

I don't usually order clothing on line, but took a chance on this robe and was very well pleased with it. Fabric quality was great and the length was perfect for my tall husband. It will be used to keep him warm after getting out of the heated pool where we live. We like to continue using the pool even in the winter here in Florida (sometimes the mornings are cool). This will help him continue that practice.

Just as advertised .Should keep her nice and warm through a Maine winter.

During the cold winter months, I wanted a robe to wrap up in and wear home from the neighborhood aquatics programs I participate in. The robe is perfect! I ordered an X-Lg because I wanted the length to drop down and cover my legs; the extra width is just folded beneath the belt and helps to insulate. For once, my idea worked out great.

The quality is very good; I still need a 'Heavy' robe for winter; this is more of a spring/fall, but it's nice and long; soft, well made and a nice surprise- the tie is attached at the back which I really like. A bit pricey, but something that will last.

I was immediately impressed by the quality for the price. I read the other reviews about it being cut large but decided to order a medium. It fits great! I usually wear small or medium depending on the cut. I am 5'4" and the length is long but perfect for the winter months. I have been looking for a terry robe for years and this is the best robe by far for the money. I bought on for my daughter and she is tiny (5'), so i will post how the small fits her after the holidays.

This robe, as it is one size, is big on me. Didn't like that at first, but the quality and comfort make up for that. Other review said it snags easlily, it will snag- but again; positives definitely outway the negatives. This would be a great robe for a bigger person.

Very nicely oversized and very comfortable material. A nice winter or cooler weather weight.

I purchased 2 of these robes, one in chocolate for my husband and one in natural for me. The robes are oversized and come in 2 sizes. My husband really likes his which is the L/XL size. I purchased the S/M size for me and I know I'll love mine in the winter months, but it's a bit heavy for me for the warmer weather that we've been having. Looking back, I wonder if I should have purchased the Ecru color as the natural is like a dark beige color, but I was worried that the Ecru would be close to a yellow color. Overall we are happy with the robes and they wash beautifully so I am very happy with the purchase!

Nice bathrobe; nothing especially fancy; good waffle weave; one size fits all.

The robe is absorbant but without making you feel sweaty. I have long hair and will be using the hood on the robe in the winter to keep my head warm while my hair is drying. I'm 5'8 and the robes length was between my knees and ankles. I wear a size 14 and am curvy, so the robe doesn't seem to shut all the way around the hips. So it's great if you are a male or a woman who isn't very curvy. Not sure where they get one size fits most. It may fit most people, but not if they want the robe to close all the way.

A good bathrobe but a bit lighter in weight than I expected. Good for summer nights, a little chilly in the winter, however.

This robe is wonderful and the price is right. It's pretty large but if you're small like me, it wraps right around, and the sleeves roll up nicely. It'll be great for our chilly winter mornings.

I love my new robe. I use it for our run from our hot tub to the house and this robe keeeps me warm in the winter and dries us off quickly

Nice and long, which I prefer. I chose a medium, mainly because I'm 5' 4", and I didn't want to have to role up cuffs or trip on the bottom. This all works, although it doesn't wrap as generally around me and feels a tad snug across the chest. I haven't laundered it yet, so can't comment on that. The robe isn't quite as thick and warm as I'd hoped it would be. That said, it will be sufficient (with some fleece PJ's underneath) to handle cold, winter mornings (I live in a 100-year-old house in Ohio, so that's important.) I'm sure it will be perfect for the rest of the year. So, although I'm not thrilled, I still happy I bought it.

Was expecting a more plush heavy weight robe this ones is light weight and loose pile very coarse does not appear it will hold up to washings since its already shedding. But maybe it will hold up enough to last @ least 1 winter i am over 5' and it comes close to the floor I do like that it is very long I also ordered the largest size so I would have plenty to wrap up with and it meets both of these needs now to see how long it last :)

Robe is nicely made, heavy (in a good way) and warm. I'm 5'4" and it falls to just below mid-calf. The sleeves--for my shortish arms-- are only barely a bit long--no problem really. Really feels nice-- plush enough out of the package--others say it softens even more with a wash--haven't washed it yet, so I don't know. Definitely not cheap-feeling. Going to be comfy and warm in this upcoming winter. I got the Praline color. No complaints.

This is a cotton robe that is best worn in the summer. The material is very thin, and while it does absorb water (I like to use the robe instead of towel right out of the shower), it's not the best thing to throw on during the dead of winter as it doesn't provide warmth. But for the money, it's a good buy.

This particular item was over all better than what I expected. I bought it as a gift and I'm sure the recipient will be well please. It is very heavy thirsty terry cloth and and very warm for the winter months to which it was intended. I did a comparison shopping research and other products did not qualify what I was looking for.It was well worth the price spent.

I have submitted reviews on other products purchased from Overstock and all of them were very good reviews. I would have titled this review "Disappointed" but that is not quite right as I was prepared for some disappointment. In reading many of the other reviews on this robe prior to ordering, I came to the conclusion that the robes being reviewed (within the same price range) were wildly different. This would be the only explanation for the love it / hate it reviews. The same could be said for the other 2 offerings, at a lower price point, that I was considering. Since, as almost everyone points out the impossiblity of finding real terry cloth robes in local stores, and I want ONLY terry robes, I decided to buy anyway and chose the higher end price point hoping I would get lucky. I suppose I was luckier than some others, but this robe is definitely not in the higher end price range as to quality. The terry is somewhat thinner than I had hoped; not a heavy weight at all. The construction is adequate (seams are not falling apart) but just a 1" hem and sleeve hem, too. Not cuffed, but you can certainly do that yourself. If it had been sold 20 - 25% less than it was, my review would rate it at 3*. But at this price point I can only give it 2*. I'll keep it - it's fine for spring thru fall use, but in no way does it come up to my winter standards.
