I received this for Christmas in the bisque color. I am pleased with the overall quality & softness. My initial thought is that the color is masculine but I kept it since it is comfortable. It is not as warm as the fleece robe it replaces and is mid calf rather than longer ( I am 5'10") The cut is very generous.

This is a decent robe for the price. It's soft enough, and roomy, like you'd expect from a terry robe. What keeps this robe, even for the price at 4 stars instead of 5, is the weight. I guess from the description, we were expecting something a little heavier. The price is equivalent with the quality. Overall, it's a fine robe.

I ordered small lavender and color is soft light lavander, just like expected. I am 5"4 and the robe goes almost to my ankles. It is very comfortable. I washed it, cold cycle and dried on moderate heat and it did not shrink. Reading other reviews about softness it's 100% cotton, so unless you put fabric softener it's not going to be soft. If you want very soft go with artificial materials such as microfiber!

Purchased this for my wife... all we could find in stores were bath robes that went to her knees. This robe goes down to around 3-4" above her feet. Very soft and the Lavender color is great!

I had a "spa-quality" terry bath robe that was very heavy and therefore hot. I wanted a light/middle weight terry robe to replace it, and this one fits the bill. It's very soft, but not plush, like the ones I see in the stores, so it's also absorbent. I don't like the fleece and plush ones - they just don't feel right to me. The weight on this one is perfect - not too heavy, but enough to provide modest cover. The only thing I would change is the length. It's a little long for me, but that will be welcome in the winter, and better too long than too short.

I wouldn't call this a spa robe. The material would be equivalent to inexpensive terry bath towels (like the $4 Walmart kind). I'm XL and the robe is really big on me. A fair price might be $35-$40 to my reckoning. The good side is that it is fairly lightweight terry so it dries faster and is cooler for summer use.

This is a super cozy robe but because it is microplush fleece it is not heavy but very warm. The color is a beautiful lavender. It has a random monogram which is strange but no big deal.

Nice and long, which I prefer. I chose a medium, mainly because I'm 5' 4", and I didn't want to have to role up cuffs or trip on the bottom. This all works, although it doesn't wrap as generally around me and feels a tad snug across the chest. I haven't laundered it yet, so can't comment on that. The robe isn't quite as thick and warm as I'd hoped it would be. That said, it will be sufficient (with some fleece PJ's underneath) to handle cold, winter mornings (I live in a 100-year-old house in Ohio, so that's important.) I'm sure it will be perfect for the rest of the year. So, although I'm not thrilled, I still happy I bought it.

Someone described this robe as "flimsy" and said they "returned" it. This is all a matter of opinion of course, but I like this robe because it is "light." It's not too light, but it's not too heavy either. I love fleece next to my body. To sleep in, to hang around the house, to just relax in. I like this robe because it is not a winter fleece. It is an anytime fleece. It's warm enough to keep me warm, but not heavy enough where I'm going to heat up inappropriately. I'm ordering another one of these because I like it so much. I ordered another fleece robe from O. during the winter which is really, really thick and heavy. It's great for the winter, but now that's it's spring I want one that is light. This is so pretty and fluffy with two deep pockets. They are great robes. Havn't washed it yet though, but I imagine I will wash and dry separately from other laundry.

I got this as a gift to replace an old fleece bathrobe and this was perfect. It is super soft and warm. It is a little pinker than I expected but the person I gave it to wears it all the time, especially Sunday mornings.

Wow...this bathrobe is soo super soft !! And even better, it actually works..instead of those microfiber or fleece robes just rubbing the water around on your skin, this one acttually absorbs the excess water off of your skin. Love it.

Everywhere I went I only found fleece bathrobes at this price. I really like the terry cotton because it breaths and absorbs water after showering. I think for the price this is a great find. Thinking of ordering another.

I am a robe fiend, and as such, am very picky about my robes. No fleece- it wears out too fast, and also is not absorptive when fresh out of the shower. Terrycloth only. Must be soft. Must be thick and heavy. Must not be undersized. I kept my last robe for ten years as it slowly turned to rags, searching all that time for a suitable replacement that was affordable, to no avail. This one, however? Is perfect!

I shopped every store in my city for a "Man's terry cloth bathrobe". Impossible to find. I could not find one on line either. So a friend suggested I Google "Man's Spa Robe". Bingo! There is was. The magic word being "Spa". The stores carried Fleece robes only. Thanks to you my grandson was very happy with the spa robe. Exactly what he wanted.

I am 5'9 115 lbs and got the chocolate in size medium. I know people said it ran large, but there were no smalls left. It is roomy, but it's nice to throw on after a shower and lounge in. The cotton is comfortable and warm, but not hot and sticky like fleece. Good quality and amazing price!!!

I purchased this for my wife. We get in our outside hot tub a few times a week. She had gotten me a cheap fleece robe from a store and it sucks next to wet skin, but you want to stay warm in the cold weather. So I got her this one and she loves it, it quickly drys and keeps her warm. She loves it. It is holding up great to regular washings. I would recommend this to ANYONE.

These robes (I ordered for two daughters) were very reasonably priced for sturdy, all-cotton bathrobes. Like a lot of the other reviewers, I've tried the "micro-fiber" and "micro-fleece" robes and the synthetic in them starts to show wear after a few washings even if you do all of the inconvenient "suggestions" about drying on low and without fabric softener. These robes look like they will last and they are warm and plush enough to feel good.

I actually bought a women's small for my tween daughter (don't worry... the sizing is fine for a woman. She swims in it) so she'd stop wearing mine out of the shower. Kids robes are all fleece these days. Warm on winter nights but yucky to try to put on when getting out of the shower. These robes are soft, and heavy. They should live through years of washing before they start to get thin.

Imagine that you are planning a trip that will take you from the equator to Antarctica in seven days. Now imagine that you have to limit the amount of gear you pack to 35 pounds or less. The task is getting more complicated. What kind of luggage would you choose and how would you pack for a trip that encompasses such extreme changes in climate and altitude? When Erica Davis, a paraplegic athlete, and Tara Butcher, a physically challenged athlete, climb Africa's highest peak, they will have to answer exactly those questions. The challenge: Mount Kilimanjaro rises from nearly sea level all the way up to 19,330 feet. The trail climbs from the hot bushland through rain forest, moorland, alpine desert and arctic glaciers up to the rocky Uhuru peak. A climb like Mt. Kili presents special challenges when it comes to luggage, clothing and gear. Being prepared for the weather and temperature extremes is a necessity, but it's also important not to pack too much. There is a 35-pound weight limit to each piece of luggage carried by a porter. Most climbers pack one 35-pound capacity bag to go up with a porter and one small daypack to carry up themselves. The daypack: Erica and Tara will have 7 days to summit Tanzania's Mount Kilimanjaro. As they pass from one ecological zone to the next, their needs will change and so will the contents of their daypacks. Each day Erica and Tara will repack their daypacks in anticipation of the specific challenges of the day's journey. In general, their daypacks will include things like water, snacks, dry clothing, waterproof gear and sunscreen. The importance of keeping clothing and gear dry cannot be overstated. When choosing a daypack, a small to medium backpack made of lightweight, moisture-resistant material that comes with a removable waterproof shell will be ideal. It's also helpful if the backpack has convenient access to a water bottle compartment or can accommodate a water bladder. Plenty of pockets, zipper compartments and hooks are also handy. What to pack: A sturdy but lightweight water-repellant duffel bag with a capacity of about 35 pounds is ideal for the trek to the top of Mt. Kilimanjaro. The bag needs to have room for plenty of layers of breathable, moisture-wicking clothing and layers of fleece clothing, as well as a waterproof layer. To save space, it's a good idea to pack clothing that does double duty, such as pants that easily convert into shorts. Aside from clothing, the climb will also require accessories like sunglasses, hats and gloves, plus equipment like trekking poles and a headlamp, as well as toiletries like sunscreen, insect repellent and a first-aid kit. Support the Challenged Athletes Foundation: Overstock.com and the C.H.E.K Institute are co-sponsoring Erica and Tara's climb to the top of Mount Kilimanjaro in order to raise awareness for athletes with physical challenges who wish to participate and compete in sports. Portions of the proceeds will benefit the Challenged Athletes Foundation (CAF). CAF raises funds to give physically challenged athletes the opportunity to stay active and competitive in the sports they love.
