  • Great box- Even better inside

    From the moment, this purchase arrived, we could tell that they focused a lot of attention to details as it was packed beautifully in what looks like a gift box. What was inside the box is even better thought through as this mattress protector is incredibly soft, while at the same time water proof beyond our belief. We double tested this, because we were skeptical about this claim and we were not interested in our kids or dog ruing our latex mattress. When we poured water on the surface, we discovered that this really was a mattress protector as the water balled up on top, refusing to soak down to the mattress. This product is everything they claim and then some. We are now total believers and wanted to share our experience.

  • Vote of confidence from a born cynic

    I had a hunch when I saw the pictures that this was going to be a good mattress protector so I took a chance and was totally validated upon its arrival. This product is soft as I could have hoped and very quiet. So far it has washed well and it's water proof finish seems to still be as good as new after multiple washes. I have ordered 3 more for the kid's rooms and that for me, a born cynic,is a real and rare vote of confidence for this product.

    By far this was one of the best mattress pads we have ever purchased! We couldn't believe the quality not only with the packaging, but the mattress pad was soft and obviously well constructed. Even after multiple washings this Greenzone mattress pad still looks new. We highly recommend this product.

  • Slam Dunk- Excellent Purchase

    So far this mattress protector is 2 for 2 in protecting our mattress from accidental spills as our 3 year old loves hanging out on our bed and does not want to take no for an answer when it comes to drinking apple juice from a Sponge Bob sippy cup that is far from fool proof. The waterproof component to this is almost miraculous, in keeping the liquid on top of the surface,with no penetration to our mattress. This alone makes this the best money spent but in addition the fabric is very cooling and comfortable, making this purchase a slam dunk.

  • This product does everything i ordered it for

    I knew bamboo was extremely soft and temp regulating so i wanted to try this to replace my hot and noisy mattress protector, but it was very hard to tell what this product was all about from the pictures, which did not really tell much of a story. I took a chance and ordered it and in retrospect this is an amazing product. It does everything it promises and washes incredibly well. I am happy to reccomend it.

  • Exceptionally Comfy But...Uggg, sweating!!

    I'm so torn because this is such a beautifully made, very comfortable, soft mattress pad protector. After reading the other reviews, we ordered it to protect a very expensive brand new mattress. After opening the beautiful packaging, we put it on the bed and tried it out ~ talk about super, super comfortable. I was so looking forward to going to sleep that first night. Unfortunately, I woke up several times during the night over-heated and sweaty. (Without the mattress pad, neither of us have ever had any temperature issues.) I hope to find some way to moderate the mattress pad temperature because ALL of its other qualities (comfort, non-toxicity, protection from mites, etc.) are exceptional.

  • Great buy

    I bought this to replace a cotton pad that i had for about 9 months which tore in the skirt making it constantly come off. This is way better as it does not use mesh but a stretch fabric that expands to accommodate my 19" pillow top. After sleeping on it for 2 weeks I can happily report that it is cool at night and almost totally silent- two big pluses that help with achieving nighttime comfort. Price was very good and product is far and above what we expected.

The information I have found says that; Bamboo for the most part is organically grown, but is seldom certified as such. Thus, they refer to it as “Natural” bamboo. Bamboo stalks contain bast fibers that can be process into a relatively stiff and rough fabric somewhat like flax (linen) or hemp. However, most bamboo fabric on the market has a smooth, silky hand that feels similar to rayon. Rayon is a regenerated cellulose fiber, which means that a natural raw material is converted through a chemical process into a fiber that falls into a category between natural and synthetic. No manufacturer can rightfully claim that a fabric is made from 100% bamboo. So, their fabric starts out essentially as 100% bamboo, and through the converting process becomes rayon a somewhat synthetic fiber. Lastly, the terry mattress pad noted in your email also contains a blend of cotton and polyester. I hope this helps you! :) overstockcustomercare1 on Feb 11, 2013
 
Both rayon and bamboo are breathable and sometimes more comfortable than cotton. They are not polyester-like. I am picky about this and recommend both rayon and bamboo. I make my own bedding from rayon challis because it is much more comfortable than cotton to me. dldl2 on May 11, 2013
