Finally I have found the pillow that suits me to a T. I love not having to rearrange the filling to fill in low spots. This pillow is the right density and height to allow me to sleep either on my side, or on my back without ending up with a stiff neck. Nirvana!
The pillow is nice, but I'm a petite woman, and the firmness/height combo is a little too high for me. It pushed my neck up at a slight angle that was enough to make sleeping uncomfortable and give me a slight pain in my neck during the day. I just got the medium density pillow instead, and based on one night of sleep so far, it's a better fit for me. My husband likes this firm density pillow just fine. The queen size is nice and large but still fit into a standard pillowcase.
These pillows are pretty heavy; I knew I'd like them. They're pretty solid and perfect for someone who sleeps on their side. The odd thing about the pillows is my husband is no longer snoring and tossing and turning. For years I have listened to his irregular and noisy snores, holding his breath, tossing and turning, and hitting and kicking. I've succumbed to wearing earplugs at night. Call it an odd coincidence, but ever since getting the pillows Thursday, we have had extremely peaceful nights of sleep with no earplugs. I guess the firmness stretches his neck so his air passage isn't blocked. Whatever the reason, I highly recommend these and wish I would have thought of them 19 years ago!!
These are nice pillows with very little smell. But was a little disappointed in the firmness, they are more like medium than firm. They come with a 230 thread count cover, but I think they need an extra pillow cover to protect and keep out dust mites.
We had old old feather pillows along with sore neck ,back ace, and head aces . WOW what a difference the right pillow makes ! I bought 2 to see if they would help with the aces of age they worked so well I bought another queen pillow and 2 Cal. King pillows 5 in all we are so happy there great !
This pillow was described as "firm." It was much too soft and squishy for me. I received the pillows today and am returning them tomorrow. They are too soft to even put on my guest bed. I was looking for a solid, firm, latex foam pillow like I used to get in the better department stores. Now nobody seems to have this pillow. I was hoping your pillow would be the answer.
i discovered latex pillows about 15 years ago.... the first one lasted until i cut it in half to use it for a travel pillow, and my last one is almost ten years old. latex is fantastic - it's supportive, it doesn't hold onto germs, and it lasts for ages before it deteriorates. but i knew it was time for a new pillow, and the price was right on this. it is firm, but latex has give to it, and i sleep like a baby with this. very minor smell when i unpacked it, but that was all.... i'm about to order another one!
We always buy latex foam pillows, and I usually order firm so that you do not sink in too much. These were the firmest pillows I have ever bought; I was amazed at their weight! They are great. You probably could buy medium instead of firm with these.
I ordered 2 queen-sized for full bed (quite unnecessary!) because I was tired of other pillows getting flat under my head in a short time. No more! I ordered the firm. Ventilation holes keep the pillow comfortable. I'm delighted and so will you be if you order.
