I had read so many bad reviews for waffle style blankets, with people commenting on the cheapness of the blankets they had purchased (not this brand but others online) and the fact that so many of them shed profusely in the wash and get caught on things easily, pulling out little strings from the fabric...BUT - The Aussino waffle weave blanket was nothing like that. I was completely impressed with its washability, comfort and durability. This blanket shed less in my wash than a typical load of laundry. I have two cats who don't get their nails clipped, and yet I haven't seen a single snag. It's a little thicker than a typical waffle weave blanket, but I have no complains since the fabric is so soft and comfortable. Summers are pretty warm where I live, but I never overheat with this blanket on. Love it!

This blanket is exactly what I needed! I was looking for a lightweight summer blanket since we use the ceiling fan and have the AC on. It fits my king size bed with lots to spare on each side. Very comfortable and the fabric is very soft. Wish it had come in white, but I settled for the cream and it's fine. You cannot beat it in quality and the price was great. Thanks again, Overstock! Would highly recommend it.

I received the blanket and was surprised at the softness of the fabric. It is warm without being too heavy. I am very pleased with it and would buy another one.

My husband is the most picky person I know where fabrics are concerned. He claims most of them are "itchy" and he is most fussy about the blanket on our bed. When I bought the Aussino Waffle Weave Blanket it looked soft. I was delighted to feel it when it arrived. My husband said it was first blanket that felt soft when up against his face. It is heavy enough to be plenty warm with just sheet and comforter, large enough to completely cover our king size bed, washes and dries with ease, and it is a really great blanket.

This blanket is soft and lightweight, yet warm. It is amply sized and finished on all four sides. The weave is very attractive and the ivory color is true. Don't hesitate on this one.

Pros: Washes well. Softens with washing. Retains it's shape. Cons: Does snag.

This is a nice light weight blanket that is very warm and soft.

this blanket is very soft and is large enough to cover the bed with plenty of overhang on each side. We use it to cover our electric blanket and it works perfectly

Really a beautiful blanket. Looks great turned back on a beautiful comforter and is an excellent weight. I am cold-natured, my husband is hot-natured, and we both love it. Can't explain that one, but you won't be disappointed.

This blanket was a little lighter than I thought it would be but it is going to be great for summer use. It was manufactured very well and I do love it.

I ordered several blankets within the "ivory" and "chocolate" color palette. This one however, although claiming to be "ivory" is extremely yellow compared to my other blankets/sheets (something of which I noticed simply pulling it out of the box-no "comparison" needed). The waffle design seems very delicate though I wouldn't know its true integrity unless I washed and used it. Unfortunately, this item is going back.

Fabric is soft, but a bit thin. This actually works for me, as my husband doesn't care for thick/heavy bedcoverings. Seems to be holding up well so far, even to the three cats. No snags that I've seen as of yet, and doesn't seem to show cat hair too much, at least for this color. It's being used as a throw on an oversized chair, since we have the heat down low at night.

I enjoyed my personal purchase of this blanket so much that I got another one as a Christmas present for my inlaws. They love its comfort and softness. Mine is beginning to pull abit but that may be more from my small dog's claws than from laundry. Regardless, the blanket looks and feels wonderful.

I ordered the cream in a queen size. Haven't washed it yet (has a funky smell and needs washing) so not sure if it will shink. It's pretty wide for the Queen bed so glad I didn't order any bigger. The blanket is perfect for me in my moderate temperature climate. However, I'm not sure I like the feel of the waffle weave. You can feel the texture of the blanket through your sheet. Other than that, it's a great blanket.

it's actually a bit better than what i expected because the shade of green matches are bedroom walls perfectly - but that's not going to help anyone else decide if this is a good product for you.i shopped around quite a bit and this was the best price. the blanket is a bit scratchy- but since we never planned to have it next to our skin (it's between the top sheet and our comforter) - it's perfect. It adds the right amount of warmth we need for these winter months.

This item was completely satisfactory - beyond expectations. Am enjoying it every night.
