The overall quality seems quite good, making this an excellent buy for the price. That said, I am very disappointed by the color(s) which are just nowhere near as bright and clear as they appear in the picture. The colors are very muted, so much so that I am not sure that I would ever be happy using it.The bright red and medium green in the photo provide a nice contrast with the buttery yellow background. In actuality the background is more of a 'dirty' or muted yellow/cream, just not the bright, pure, creamy yellow expected and against which the other colors would pop. The reds in the flowers and in the plaid are also muted and not as bright as they appear in the photo. Same with the sage. The overall effect of the dull, muted colors is simply disappointing.Positives Comforter is edged in about a 4in ruffle of the red/sage plaid fabric along with a roughly 2in ruffle of crocheted lace. The pillow shams are made up of sections of all 3 fabrics (floral, plaid, and green solid) stitched together. The comforter has good loft. These would seem to be high end effects.Negatives Dull, muted colors lack contrast and just don't pop as expected and as shown in picture. Comforter does not reverse to the plaid or even the green as is normally expected. Back side of comforter is just an off-white backing fabric.

This is a wonderful set. I ordered the king even though I have a queen bed because most comforter sets are stingy with their fabric, and I wanted an extra full comforter. WELL. It being the Laura Ashley brand, the comforter is VERY generous in fabric and heft. It feels light as goose down, but it is an excellent insulator against the cold. I am extremely satisfied with not only the product, but the service I have received from Overstock.com. This is the first year that I've ordered from them, and I placed more than one order shortly before Christmas, and everything arrived much quicker than anticipated and in excellent condition. I will be a very frequent customer!!

This comforter is very comfortable and warm. The comforter provided coverage to the queen sized bed nicely.

Very well made, comforter is huge for a King size bed. Not a really big fan of Floral patterns but keeping it because of the size and great quality.

I was very pleased with my comforter set. I have had problem with finding comforters in the past that are big enough for my over stuffed matteress but this comforter is plenty big enough to cover the matteress.It is very pretty and has brighten up my bedroom! It is also very warm.I think this comforter set was a great deal! I would definately use Overstock.com in the future!

This is a well made comforter, however, was just a little too 'shabby chic' for my taste, I guess I prefer a more traditional one. I think it was the ruffles and lace that was just a little 'too much' for me. My mattress is a thick one, but the comforter came down about 4 inches on each side over the bed skirt. I started to send it back but a relative of mine wanted it so I gave it to her. It's a nice set, just wasn't exactly what I wanted. Just don't throw your ironing board out, it was very wrinkled but most of them are. Would love to know how a company gets all the wrinkles out for the pictures!

The comforter set is really pretty. I am very pleased. The comforter itself is very warm and a bit larger than most, which is nice.

I was under the impression that this was Laura Ashley brand. It's JC Penney home collection, but it's still a great comforter.

I like everything about this comforter set.

The comfortor is beautiful and I love the fact that it is overstuffed. The red plaid ruffle all around the edge of the comforter doesn't match my bedroom or my taste. So, much to my dismay, I will have to return it. I can't wait to find another overstuffed comforter and set to replace it.

I liked the Ashley bedding. The only problem I had was the missing Ashley tags on the bedding. There is nothing to indicate it is Laura Ashley. It is good quality and beautiful, but I would have preferred to have something indicate that I was getting what I paid for, Laura Ashley bedding. The tags on the bedding say "JC Penny Home Collection" which is not what I thought I was getting.

The comforter is very light and comfortable. Great value for the price.

I love this set and ordered but the background is not white/off white it is quite yellow and I had to return it or redo the whole bedroom. Otherwise it is a beautiful set and the price is such a deal!
