Great Buy
This comforter is wonderful. It has totally changed the look of my guest bedroom. The color and detail are great and looks just like the picture - I'm glad I purchased.

Overall very nice
We highly recommend this comforter set. It is masculine but very relaxing. I do not like the small pillows that come with the set, so this is why it is not a 5 star. The fabric on the small pillows is feminine when the overall look is more masculine. Great buy.

suits my needs
Overall, I am satisfied with this set. I do think it should be better quality for the price. I've had it about a month & have stitched it to keep it from shredding.. The colors & pattern is what attracted me. I didn't have a use on my bed for the bedskirt since I don't have a boxspring but was able to use it in the guest room.

- Please tell us about the quality of the product. fabric quality is less than expected -it slides all over the place and snags easily.. for the price I definitely expected better.

Comforter
It is a really pretty comforter but material is not soft, great for guest bedroom not for an every day use comforter because material is "itchy".

I had been looking for a purple comforter set. And this one caught my eye! Elegant looking in the pics. I was just a pleased when it arrived, the quality and overall look. Another department store was selling the same one for $249!! Very happy with this purchase!!

Cute
This comforter set is really cute. The only thing I don't really like is the sheen of the fabric. I haven't run it through the wash yet but I'm guessing it won't hold up with regular laundering. Should probably dryclean only.

Picture Perfect!
The product arrived very promptly. I absolutely love the way it looks. The picture provided detail and it looks exactly as I expected. The package was packed very well. I would absolutely suggest the product to a friend.

I ordered this Ardsley 8-Piece Queen-Size Comforter set in purple because of all the great reviews on overstock.com. The shipping was LIGHTNING fast. I got it 2 days after I ordered--BEFORE they updated my order status to shipped even. I was super excited about it. However, I was very disappointed upon opening the package. The color is not as pretty as the picture. The actual color is less purple than the picture. It's DULL. The whole set looks neutral, not girly or pretty or cute. somebody said it's "masculine" in their review. Now I know why. There is no "dimples" in the actual product whereas the "dimples" in the picture make the comforter set look a lot richer than it actually is. The bed skirt is thin and made differently than what the pic suggests. It's not nearly as nice looking as the pic. The bed skirt does not hang down and wrap around so snugly as in the picture either. Besides the looks, another big reason I sent this back is that this 100% polyester set is very UNCOMFORTABLE. You can't possibly sleep in this unless you get some cotton sheets to use under them. Sandwich yourself between the cotton sheets you are gonna have to buy somewhere else and never let your skin be touched by the comforter, then you can live with it. Otherwise I don't know how. I decided to get something more skin friendly instead. I knew it's polyester before purchasing, but I also knew polyester didn't necessarily have to feel so sadpaper-like!! This one proved me wrong. Overall this set is OK for a guest bedroom, which is rarely used. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone who wants to use it daily. The return process was easy. Contacted customer care and they were courteous and efficient. They wanted to send me a shipping label and deduct $$$ for the return shipping, which was reasonable for that big a package(17 pounds) despite of the fact that nobody wants to eat the return shipping cost. I didn't opt for that cuz I used company shipping.

This comforter set is eye candy
The comforter set is even more lovely then you can see in the picture. It fits my Queen size bed perfectly. Now, it is not soft to the touch as one review said, but it is warm and very pretty. I would purchase this set in a heartbeat

Beautiful and looks richer then price indicates.
I have been looking for the colors in this comforter everywhere. Took a chance and so glad I did. The price was great and the quality perfect. Makes my bedroom look like I just redid the whole thing. Very rich looking and really cozy!!!!
